Yes, many people think that 700 is wayy too much, so it'd be better if it was 500 like a lot of players originally thought.

This suggestion has 530 supports and 39 NO supports.

And Gmo cow will will probably also get raised since it's a rare breeding item.

"I mean they Are a breeding item so yeah."

May I ask what this is in relation to? You didn't really give a specific person for it to be directed towards, nor if you mean it for or against the suggestion. If you're using it as a reason why they should be expensive, CRB, 1Gb in the oasis, is a breeding item. "Breeding Item" ≠ "Has To Be Expensive".

They'll have to raise it now. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense for them raising Buffalo Scrotums right now. But either way, they'll get backlash from raising it or not raising it so well.

I don't support only because the admin's / mods probably won't change it again anyhow.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. They won't be lowering the price at all, especially now since the shop is open. We could get 1000 supports on this topic and it wouldn't do a thing. But it's still nice to see what the community, as a whole, has to say about these things.

*rubs forehead* Heavens, people in chat seem to take a personal affront to anybody daring to express concern about this change. The irony is, they tend to do it in a far ruder way than the people expressing concern in the first place xP

Anyway, I totally agree with your post Finn. Sadly now that the shop's open I can't see them changing the price back, as it would be a huge job to reimburse all the people who bought it at a higher rate. My only hope now is maybe they'll do a goodwill gesture of DB to us all to apologise for the upset it's caused plus the late, late notice of the price change, but I won't hold my breath :(

And i agree with you, it's nice to see other people agree to thing's on this topic, so i'm not trying to put out a fuss or anything, i just know they won't change it so i don't really see the point supporting However, if the admin's / mod's do change it i may change my mind and of course will support i'm basically in the middle but i just don't see it happening so that's why i don't support.

I'm just going to restate after Gnarl's statement of "Yes, you're absolutely correct. They won't be lowering the price at all, especially now since the shop is open." that I commented on this already too, and I assume I was right now:

"Just speculation but maybe they don't change at the start, and wait until now, because they knew we would throw this fit. If they wait until the shop opens and people start buying them (albeit begrudgingly) they could cop out with "it wouldn't be fair to those that already purchased some" unless they were willing to do a refund for the difference, and usually they're not. (Although, this argument becomes invalid if you consider the Monkey Enclave incident. Those who wasted all that SB before it was changed to a fixed price instead of an escalating price were never refunded or compensated.) But maybe I'm just looking to make a villain."

They may not be able to change it, but they could always make obtaining db easier.

They definitely could do that too Rattus, but I highly doubt they will. After all, it would defeat the purpose of what they're apparently trying to solve. They said that we're collecting Dry Bones too quickly and at too large of amounts. So basically, if you're an active player who grinds to get what you want, this is a mini punishment for you. Or at least, that's how I choose to see it.

They're really good at punishing us for doing what we're supposed to do.

There's a few comments I've seen crop up in this discussion that seem silly to me.

All I can sit here and think is, 1. It's a breeding item, and one that ensures there to be 3 cubs born in a litter. That's a very high influx of cubs 'if' everyone that buys them uses the item. Or even then, a huge influx of buff balls on the market. Raising the price to keep the inflation of buff balls, or cubs down only makes sense. 2. "I can't play the game 24/7 so I can't get enough dry bones to actually buy them..." I find this one amusing because, I don't play 24/7, and I have nearly enough DB to buy 2. There's been a day or two I've only come on and been in explore once... maybe twice. I still have nearly enough to buy two. Furthermore, it's not the end of the month yet, so you still have time to actually collect.

I'd at least like an explanation as to why the price was raised. I hoped to get at least 3 this month but I'll probably only manage 1 now. :/

I wouldn't have so much of a problem with it if event encounter rates or the amount of bones they gave were also increased a bit. I don't have much going on in my life rn: I can pretty much come in and explore every time my energy replenishes. Yet despite that, after almost two weeks, I've only gotten about 950 bones. What about people who only come home to check the game in the evening and get a single full energy bar a day? There's got to be some kind of balance.
