"Doesn't it look like there are less Thunderclan cats here this moon?" She asked. Maybe after the unfortunate incident last Gathering they'd wanted to be more inconspicuous. She eyed Sunstar suspiciously. He seemed a little gloomy, but he didn't look sick. Maybe that's why monstercough was dangerous.

Swallowpaw sat placidly while the other apprentices discussed prey. Her personal favorite prey was sparrow. Strange that she was named after a bird and yet her favorite food was a bird. Swallowpaw noted how nervous Goosepaw seemed to be and she gently put her tail around his shoulders as a sign of comfort. She turned her head a smiled warmly at her fellow apprentice, not really caring that he was from a different clan.

Hearing news from the other leaders and then observing how their clanmates reacted to the news. It always seemed to tell a far clearer story than what the leader's would let on.

Noticing that others came to talk to the Windclan leader, she decided to let them have time with her and she looked over the other cats in the clearing. They all seemed to be content with one another and looked up, startled, when she saw a light flash and strike a nearby tree, rain also falling down around them. Her ear twitched when she head Sunstar called for the Gathering to start and noticed that the Shadowclan leader, Froststar, was already up with the Thunderclan leader. She knew that she would need to join the two up in the trees so the Gathering could start and she hesitated, aware that she had a good chance that her lack of balance would show when she would go to climb. Shrugging it off, Willowstar decided that the other cats would be distracted by the lightning flash and wouldn't notice her wobbling. She carefully padded to a nearby tree and hauling herself up to a low branch, just to be safe.

Fleetpaw whipped her head to the lightning strike just foxlengths from her own pelt. She backed away, the flames growing from where the energy bolt had hit. Her eyes were huge, and although she was wet, the fire seemed so dangerous. The apprentice skittered backwards into Goosepaw, glancing at him with scared eyes for a moment before trotting further from the fire. She couldn't stay near it.

Once he, Fleetpaw, and Wolfpaw were with their clan, Goosepaw made a beeline towards his mentor and mother.

Turning her gaze to the leaders, Stonefell opened her mouth to say something else when the second bolt of lightning struck, causing her to unknowingly draw out her claws in defense.

In the distance she heard a few apprentices squeak in surprise and turned just in time to see Fleetpaw, Wolfpaw, and her son come running through the other Shadowclan cats.
