Fleetpaw/apprentice/Shadowclan/ Goosepaw, Wolfpaw, and Fallenflames

Fleetpaw didn't stop when the three reached the cluster of cats she recognized. She walked to where Fallenflames sat, and settled to as close as she was allowed without looking like she was trying to be important. She felt safer around her mentor, the closest thing to a parent. Her fur laid down a bit.

Dewpaw's own soft purrs would rumble through his body as he relaxed against Frecklepaw, smiling brightly. He'd nod to her, his ears flopping a bit as he did so. "Of course, I can show you where those herbs we've been using for monster cough grow best if you like," He'd mew slightly, pressing his nose to her cheek. "You make me happy too Frecklepaw," He'd whisper, his pelt fluffing up with a bit of sheepishness.

Shaking, Goosepaw turned around, his blown eyes staring at the second blazing tree. "Lightning- something doesn't feel right, but I don't know?" Pulling his gaze from the tree, Goosepaw caught Fleetpaw trotting off. He just about bolted after her until he remembered her mentor was that way. He felt silly.

Dropping his head, Goosepaw meowed, "I'm- I'm sorry, I must be sounding like a kit, huh?"

The tom blinked and looked up at his mentor. "Wolfpaw m-might need help though, I'll be okay. Can you go see if she's okay, please?" Lifting a shaking paw, Goosepaw glanced down at it.

"I just need to rest for a little while."

Frecklepaw purred again. Her ears perked at Sunstar talking, she became more sheepish than Dewpaw. She rub her head under his chin, keeping quiet, or at least trying about her crush. Did he know she liked him? Why was all these feelings keep boiling inside her? “Thanks Dewpaw.” She whispered at him softly. What Sunstar said made her think of something big was coming. Something that could wipe the clans out, so did the clans need to work and stay together? Maybe Dewpaw and her could stay together, but no matter the fact she was scared. “Can you try to bring so of the herb soon, Dewpaw? My brother fell ill with monstercough. It would be just amazing if you could. I would be in your debt forever.” She whispered again at him. Her eyes like puppy-dogs.

Marshcloud would gently press her nose to the top off her apprentices head. "Fear is natural Goosepaw, but you needn't worry with your clanmates beside you. If you let fear control you, that's when it can affect you. You can choose to face those fears, but do keep that fear as a caution," She'd mew gently. She'd glance around for Wolfpaw before nodding to her apprentice,"I'll check on Wolfpaw, you can go and sit with Fleetpaw and her mentor until I get back okay?"

Dewpaw would frown slightly at the tone of the leader's speaking. He knew the clans could survive whatever came their way but, the wait for whatever might try to divide them was uneasy. He'd glance back to Frecklepaw, shuffling his paws nervously. "I'll bring what I can, we only really have one cat infected I think but... hes taking some time to get better. I can show you where some is more likely to grow if need be," He'd whisper to her, resting his chin on the top of her head. He knew medicine cats weren't really restricted by the borders, at least in terms of their work, but still he felt somewhat nervous about getting the herbs to Frecklepaw.

Frecklepaw smiled and gave a giggle again, and nodded towards him. "Thank you Dewpaw, it will save my brother's life." She mewed softly as she started to fall asleep and purr with him by her side. She hadn't slept well since her brother had gotten sick and it was rough. She purred ever so softly, while she kept all ears on Sunstar. What he had said was mind boggling, and again she worried over it again. She nuzzled his chin with her nose as she sat quietly.

Ivystar quickly hauled herself up to sit beside Sunstar and Froststar, not wanting to be on the ground as they started sharing their news. She dipped her head respectfully at the two other leaders, glad to see that Willowstar had also managed to get up. She flattened her ears a little at what Sunstar said, she had full faith in StarClan. After all, her Clan was directly underneath the open skies, and Aldershade and Sootpaw had gone out with their orders to find the cure. She would not let her belief be swayed. Even so, she let out a loud yowl as she saw four balls of lightning falling towards Fourtrees and StarClan appearing near the other cats.
Reedstar nodded his head as Houndstar spoke, opening his mouth to add to what was said. "And in forgetting us, you are abandoning your ways as warriors." He held his head high, disappointment in his usually calm and affectionate gaze.

Dewpaw would smile in turn at Frecklepaw, his tail curled warmly around her. "I wouldn't make for a very good medicine cat if I didn't help, would I?" He'd chuckle softly, a soft purr rising in his own throat. His eyes would grow wide as he witnessed the starclan cats reveal themselves, his heart fluttering in his chest. Was his father walking among them? Was he watching out for him and Flamestorm? Was he happy in starclan even without them? These thoughts ran through his head as he let out a breath he hand't realized he'd been holding in, his gaze filled with awe.

Flamestorm frowned slightly as she listened to hear leader's tone, did he really feel as though starclan didn't care for them anymore? Surely they had to, these were their ancestors, the cats who fought each day and night to teach the next generation of warriors how to survive and thrive in the forest. She'd let out a startled yelp at the thunder, her eyes instinctively shutting tight at the bright light. When she dared to open them she'd look around for her clanmates in a panic. Were any of them hurt? Upon seeing most of her clanmates accounted for she'd let out a sigh of relief only to be followed with a bright smile at the sight of the starclan cats. Their ancestors had shown themselves, they weren't abandoned as so many cats seemed to think.

Marshcloud would arch a fuzzy brow, flicking her tail as Wolfpaw seemed to react in a rather... terrified way. She'd shake out her fluffy tortie coat before speaking. "You do realize we're both shadowclan right? Goosepaw wanted me to see if you were alright, not attack you or anything," She'd huff, her pelt rising up at the sound of thunder crashing down so close. When she'd turn her gaze to its source to see if anyone was hurt she'd visibly stiffen, her gaze wide in shock. While Marshcloud kept her opinion of starclan to herself, or lack thereof, she honestly never though she'd live to see anything like this. Maybe it was some leftover angst from her moons of apprenticeship but she hadn't expected them to truly be what cats made them out to be, let alone interested in what the living did now without them, but now she couldn't really deny such ideas.

Froststar nodded as the rest of the clan leaders joined them before returning to her Stoney silence and rigid stature. Barely batting an eye as Sunstar relayed his doubts and his clan’s report, as she shared his doubts as well, before her eyes widened as balls of lightening fell from the sky, and a yowl escaped her mouth as they fell towards fourtrees before they materialized into their ancestors. ‘Starclan had made their presence known, ‘She thought in shock. A ripple of shock went through her when she noticed that one of the starry pelted cats was Darkstar, former leader of Shadowclan, a kind but stern cat.

Darkstar nodded along with what Reedstar and Houndstar had said, shifting once before opening his mouth to add, “In forgetting us and abandoning the ways of the warrior, you would soon abandon the warrior code.“ He finished staring in disappointment.

Fleetpaw stared in shock at the former leaders. She was unappalled at the Thunderclan leader's disbelief, and expected such from a kittypet filled clan. Starclan seemed like this rigid force, wise and powerful. She turned to them with newfound respect. There was no doubt in her mind that they existed, now that they literally descended from the stars to speak personal to the clans.
