To get rid of donating. Personal progress bars or not. I thought this suggestion was to get rid of ALL donations

I had no issue donating 150 eggs but the news post made it seem, to me, like donating would get me some sort of bonus...not the tier itself. I was just confused because the news post gave 3 different bars, and I thought that the personal bar would just unlock the Egg Den earlier for donators and/or give donators special items...I didn't know it meant that non-donators couldn't access the Den at all.

I've been on this site almost 3 years now. Typically, the third tier opens up regardless. I've only been through events when the third tier never opens only a few times. I don't understand why now all of a sudden we need to donate a certain amount of currency to unlock everything. Yes, it makes it fair for those who are avid donators and need a break, but I feel like it could be addressed some other way. The point of the matter is, players don't want to give up their currency. Items that are actually useful (I'm talking applicators and breeding items) are really expensive for a casual player to afford. Yes, one can argue that they can keep their currency and just lose access to the Egg Den, but that's a whole half of the event they have to miss out on. Really, it's just the decision of: should I buy something expensive from the shop that will possibly have a lasting effect (a nice base, a certain mane, or even possibly a mutation with items like GMO Cow and Lion Scrotum) or, should I have access to a part of an event for a few weeks?

But I can see why someone would argue against this as well. It would be unfair for players who are active if everyone was allowed to keep all their currency and it would maybe devalue a lot of the expensive items in the event shops if everyone could afford them.

This really is the first month we have been through this so it is hard to see if it was a good decision or not.

Its April 9th. I work a lot. I have 60 eggs......by the time I actually reach 150, I will not be able to buy ANY event items at all.

Thank you Lioden for effectively locking a dedicated long term player out of this aspect of the game.

I support this, as well. I do get to play frequently throughout the day, but even with that I will not have a lot of currency to spend in the event shop. There are a lot of casual players who will never be able to reach this goal, which is not fair. A lot of the casual players are students with limited play time, full time employees with families that cannot be on often, or people without easy internet access, among other things. I know that college students or even high school students have a lot of studying to do in the school year, which has to come first before trying to play games, as well as the full time work people who have families to raise and meals to cook, places to take the kids after work/school, and normal household errands to run. It is not entirely fair to expect them to have the time to give up from family, work, and school, to make the very high goals set for this now. Being a casual player does not mean someone is lazy or not trying, rather it usually means that there are real life situations that prevent a person from being on a game often. Like I said, I am not one of the people as I am fortunate to be a stay at home mom, but even with that, there are still days, and sometimes weeks, where I barely get any online time on any game depending on the various real life situations on any given day/week. People do need to be able to have currency available at the end of the event to purchase items, as well. Please reconsider this new addition and take it off for future events since it does not work well for ALL players, which is unfair. Thank you.

Perhaps, if this new feature is going to remain, there should be a way for the people who are able to be on all of the time to put the event currency up in trade like other items to help the casual players along, even if there is a set silver bug amount enforced for the sale of the event item? That would at least enable casual players to be able to hopefully purchase event currency to help them along? Just a thought...

Fully support... I have been rather busy thus far this month and haven't even been able to donate once.. in all honesty its making me want to go on a hiatus XD and focus on other games/things because whats the point? there has got to be a solution to this but this one however is not it...

I like the donation feature, but yes is more of a ourchase than a donation. I feel what its at is already a high price, even as a pretty active player its taking me quite a while to unlock to last tier in the egg den. Honestly for anyone who cant donate anymore than a half hour to the game a day you may only be able to unlock the egg den and that's it.

From what I have done, (I'm like a day ahead, I did a quest on midnight for the first and another after rollover that day)

You don't have to do the primordial quest to do the other quests. I immediately got the third quest without doing the spring quest.

As for claiming Wenet, this was taken from the wiki:

"On the last day of April, if you've completed all 10 storyline quests, you will be able to claim Wenet.
Note that you only get ONE chance at claiming Wenet.
She can be claimed like a normal lioness, with 2 GB, or a Leopard Orchid."

Which the spring quest is a bonus, we don't need to complete it to claim her.

I support this suggestion very strongly! I was planning on playing more casually this month, which to me means a goal of about 10 event currency per day, or a total of 300 for the month. Then I found out that I'd have to donate HALF of that amount just to enjoy all of the event features. I'm really upset about the personal donation bar. And the admins think this is a LOW donation goal?!

I've already supported this buuut:
On my side account, I spent all of my eggs just to open the tiers, and I still haven't unlocked them all.
I had 100% energy and went exploring, came back with one egg. Only one egg.
For some reason, I'm having a harder time collecting currency than I did last year, even with the mask off.
Some events, I can barely collect 5 pieces of currency with 100% energy, if the donations went to those months with a high end goal, well it seems like I wouldn't be able to do anything for that month, which would suck cause then I wouldn't want to get on if I can't even participate.
