As Noah watched his headmistress talk lowly to a house elf he remebered his own, he had one named daffy. She had been his fathers little spy for years, when Noah screwed up she was always there to runa dn tell his father. SHe had always said once his father passed she would do the same for him but he always spat at her and noramaly had tried to give her a hat or socks to free her and watch her suffer. “He will do great things miss” he heard the high squeak of the elfs vocie. His headmistress nodded her head slowly “Mr Daniels have you heard anything about Voldemort rising” she asked quietly, he nodded his head. His father being a death eater he always heard small words between him adn his fellow death eaters. At a young age Noah had been made a death eater himself, but unlike his father he did not support Voldemorts ways. “Just the same old thing, but I think they are gettin closer” he muttered

Noah had hated talking bad about his own blood but he knew what his fatehr was doing was wrong, very wrong at that. His hand slithered up to his shoulder length hair and pulled it back into a man bun which many girls had told him it looked like a chocolate ball. He was a huge flirt and there was no denying that fact, he had gone through about 20 girlfriends last year. This year he felt was going to be diffrent but he had said that every year for the past few months. He let his calused filled hands fall to his lap as his headmistress shook her head “You need a hair cut” she laughed to herself. Calling minerva a friend would be a lie, he looked at her like a mother figure and she could tell he did. It was an unspoken thing between them.

Iris looked over at the hufflepuff and snorted to herself “Hello” she chirped and reached her hand out. She made up her mind to not say her blood status anymore and just stuck with her name and Hogwarts house “I am Iris Black” she didnt like her mothers name so she always went with her uncles “I am in the house of the serpent, Slytherin” Her hand stayed unmoved for a minute.

Sam shook his head and looked between the two “She is boostful im Sam and clearly im in Gryffiondor” he snorted “don't ask why were hanging out together, she pulled me here so I think shes planning to kill me” he joked. He didnt raise his hand to shake hers.

Iris could tell when a smile was fake, she was an expert with fake emotions from her young childhood "Pretty name" she smiled as she drew her hand back. Her eyes traveled of the dark girl's face and hinted a few things about her features "You are extremely pretty" she chirped and elbowed Sam "right"

The Gryffindor looked up from his book, he was dumbfounded and looked over at Iris for help, she had run a finger over her face and he nodded absentmindedly "Yeah"

Iris shook her head and looked at Sam "So what year are you currently in" she asked as Sams head suddenly popped up. "This thing better go a bit faster" he growled

Sams' face had gone fully white as he realized it may be too late once they got there "Iris when the next full moon" he asked twidling her thumbs. Without hesitation, Iris replied "in 2 days" she looked at the new girl and knew she didnt know her story yet and added "I think"

Iris looked down at her own owl and her cat who seemed to be watching the other owl like it was dinner (I gotta go and plan out how long its gonna take me to get a service dog)

Iris slowly cover the cat's eyes and smiled at Echo "Um sorry about her she gets hungry often" she laughed as she scratched the back of her head. Sam scooted closer to Iris as he tilted the book fo her to examine "Sooo Echo" sam said
