There's something lurking in the dark. The inhabitants of Fell have been living peacefully for centuries, thriving in the valley surrounded by sheer mountains. Nothing can get in through the mountains, and the ocean defends them from the south. But something is gathering in the north. That ravens that fly over the mountains bring back tales of plagues and death. Tensions begin to grow in the valley, and neighbors turn on eachother. As The inhabitants of the valley start to panic, they turn to the Elders, a group of beings that have guided their path for the centuries they've lived in the valley. But when they go to seek the Elders, they are missing. (Or so they think) What is coming, and what will happen to the peace? Os Rules! Be nice and have fun! You can have as many characters as you like, they can be any species, and there are no set rules for the groups they live in so it's a bit of a free for all. This is a laid back rp! No posting requirements, time limits, no one will push you to reply, etc. We all have lives<3 intercharacter romance is allowed, but if one is not your character you must ask permission. Alaqirr beamed, the homely bungalow was like something from a tale back home. This must be Tamiel's home, along side his mate. What was his name? Hm, it seems he couldn't remember. Nothing unusual for the tiger-man, he was used to forgetting things, but he couldn't help but think there was something else to it. Qirr jogged forward, closing a bit of distance between himself and Tamiel. "Thank you, again. And, uh, also thanks for slowing down back there." he laughed gently. Rahm head jerked up as the door burst open, tamiels white and orange form launching at the him. He was vaguely aware of a nervous looking cat-folk ducking in the door behind his mate- but he only had a moment to contemplate it before tamiels eager hug knocked him on his side. "I take it you're happy to be home?" Rahm asked, chuckling. Tamiel purred, giving into his impulses and pushing his head under Rahms chin. "Get off, Tam, we have a guest." That seemed to rouse him, rahm noted. Good to know. Shaking himself, the odd creature turned to the cat folk and extended a strange, five toed paw in greeting. "Greetings! My name is Rahm, but you may have heard me reffered to as 'the map-maker'. What's your name?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Alaqirr shook Rahm's hand, concluding that Tamiel must have just mentioned the name in passing and he had forgotten or failed to notice it at all. Yeah. That was it. He noted that the pair had most likely been mates for a long time, and a good one at that; they seemed like essentially a perfect match in what little Qirr had seen. "Nice to meet you, sir map-maker. Ofelia made her way through the trees, unsure what to do with herself at a current moment -- the current events had made the unicorn nervous, yet she had precious little to run to if the need should arise. She looked around for a source of anything, perhaps a light or a source of comfort. Upon pressing further into the breaking treeline she saw.. a home. A home was a good source of comfort for many creatures, perhaps she could find some comfort herself. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Tamiel watched the cat-man and Rahm shake hands, but was almost instantly distracted by a sound in the woods. His ears swivelled- curious. "I'll be right back," he murmured, not really paying attention to anyone's response. His golden eyes watched the trees as he left the bungalow, searching. There- movement, a pale flickering shape. "Show yourself!" Tamiel roared, wings stiffened. He didn't like things skulking in his forest without warning- it made him uneasy. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ofelia froze. The tone didn't sound nice and inviting - but perhaps everyone was a bit on edge. After a moment the mare stepped forward. "I'm sorry -- did I frighten you?" Ofelia's voice was significantly calmer, yet held a sense of detachment, sort of a middle ground for her where she didn't need to be over the top or less kind to suit a creature's needs. Her eyes, when she looked at Tamiel, seemed to be a void of color - lacking the basics of an iris or pupil, just.. color. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Tamiel immediatly relaxed- this creature was no threat. Pale and willowy, she was too pastel to be a danger. She had eyes like him- pupiless orbs of color- but hers were odd. They made him uncomfortable, but she seemed perfectly nice. "Less 'frighten' and more worried," he said calmly. "It's been a stressful week, and surprises- aren't exactly my style." He tucked his wings up, sighing. There had been too many people lately- all he wanted to do was sleep by the fire with Rahm chattering away next to him, wings relaxed for the first time all week. But- he supposed, he had to do his civic duty. Rahm always told him to play nice- so here he was, playing nice. "What's your name?" She bowed her head out of respect. "Terribly sorry.. My name is Ofelia. I was looking for some place comfortable and inviting, your home seemed just the right amount of cozy -- though I do understand if you'd like me to be on my way for the night." Ofelia's voice seemed to lighten up a bit, seeing as Tamiel was pleasant to be around, thus decided to be pleasant along side him. "However.. Libra continued her wandering, careful to keep her hood over her head. If a single animal searching for her caught sight of her shimmering, dawn-colored eyes, they would recognize her immediately. Libra crept silently through the woods until coming upon a strange scene, a winged tiger speaking to a brightly colored, hybrid-looking unicorn. Libra pressed herself to the ground, trying to stay invisible, when a weak stick snapped underneath the weight of her paw, snapping and cracking loudly. She winced. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ofelia's ears flicked and she turned her head quickly to look at what made that noise -- though she couldn't see much at first the scent of a Leopon filled the air. She raised a hoof, ready to book it if need be, but tried to speak up first. "Hello..? Is there someone else in the darkness of the trees? Perhaps a friend..?" Ofelia knew the scents of Leopons -- and the Leopons themselves. They were barely able to keep the peace most times, but tried to reason with the unseen threat. 0 players like this post! Libra sighed, knowing she had been spotted. She stood up, making sure her hood was covering her face and pelt. "Just passing through." She lied, starting to walk away. Ashalka blew a leaf off her muzzle, snorting as she stood up. She had slept most of the day away, but now that the sun was going down she grinned. She worked the best in the dark.
