Snailstar has noticed that the prey hoard is slowly getting low on food, and with his growing clan in mind, he decides to go out and catch some prey! He makes his way into the forest, searching for anything to catch. This sunny day seem TOO warm though, as Snailstar has trouble finding anything, everyone seems to be hiding away in the shade. Just as Snailstar was thinking about returning, he spots a lone mouse searching for some water. With one swift move, the mouse is his.

Spiderjump is convinced it is essential for a warrior to be able to swim, so he takes Owlpaw To the nearby Lake for some practice! Owlpaw is visibly afraid of the water, but with a little encouragement, she slowly makes her way into the shallow waters nad waits for instructions. Spiderjump follows her, just in case he has to help her out. He demonstrats how to move her paws in the water to swim forwards Owlpaw mimics this. Slowly, she unknowingly leaves the shallow water for deep water, and when she tries to push off the groud, she notices the lack of grouding and start to panick, calling out to Spiderjump for help while swallowing water.
Spiderjump rushes into the water and quickly pulls his exhausted apprentice out of the lake.
Obviously dissapointed about the event, spiderjump encourages her to try it again next time and that no master has yet fallen from the sky.

Emberback i bathing in the sun as the tired kittens approach her. They tell her how they have been fighting ALL DAY and how good of warriros they will once be!! With an amused chuckle, Emberback pulls the kittens to her side and clean sthem until they all asleep. After a long nap and the sun starting to slowly go down, the kits, PUMPED with energy, tackler Emberback, who was asleep on her back. While Brightkit hits and scratches her nose, Stripedkit attacks her ears, chomping down hard on them, DEMANDING her to give up and succumb! While rolling around and pretending to struggle, Emberback exclaims their victory an dhow they please may show mercy on her.
With a triumphant laugh, the two little rascals jump off of her and headbutt each other.

Icegaze notices that his stash of blackberries has depleted, so he figures it would be wise to go and look for some. As he wanders along his usual route, he notices a lack of herbs altogether! IT hasnt rained in a while, so barely nay have grown back. Aware of this, he decides to leave his usual route and wander deeper into the forest, where some might have grown back since the last time anyone was there. After a while, he stubles upon a very familiar bush, a Blackberry bush! full of hopes, he runs there and scavenges through the bush in hopes to find some. Some anymal must have been here, because the ground is full of squashed and rancid berries. In the bush itself, icegaze unfortunately only finds dried out rests that are unusable, so with a sight, he returns to camp.

As Snailstar is for once is just relaxing a bit in the summer sun, he hears a faint rustling sound not too far from him. He opens his eyes, to find a little sparrow has landed near their Herb stache! The scent of one of the herbs must have lured it here! Not willing to waste such a golden opportunity, Snailstar slowly gets up and crawls nearer, and with one graceful leap, the small bird is his.

Spiderjump went out on a hunt alone this morning. The burning heat of the sun has cause him to be slower than usual, to exhausted. Spiderjump has been out an d about trying to catch anything all day long, but due to the glaring sun and swelltering heat, this has proven n difficult, even for an experianced hunter as himself.
Wondering if he should head back and give up for the day, he turns back and heads towards camp.
Spiderjump heads to a small body of water, even though it is not ideal, cooling down in it seems like a wise choice. Just as he is about to reach the water, he notices a squirrel, obviously dehydrated, running towards it. Spiderjump cant believe his luck! He swiftly hunts down the little squirrel, cools himself off and returns to camp.

Emberback decided, that the cubs are now old enough to watch themselves for a little while, so she can go stretch her legs and hunt for her clan! Emberback is a wise and experianced hunter, and knows exaclty where prey likes to lurk on warm days as this. She heads deep into the forrest, where the air is cooled by shade, and finds a flock of little colorful birds. She creeps up to one and swiftly breaks its neck, bringing it home triumphant.
Emberback has cought a smalll bird! (1 use)

As Icegaze wanders around the camp, he notices that no one was watching the kitts! Altough they arguably should be able to watch out for temselves for a little while now, he doesnt trust the abbilities of those two little rascals and decides to babysit them, until Emberback returns. Amused, he watches teh two cubs tussle and hunt each other, remakring to himslef how thier skills are improving daily! They indeed will make fine warriors SOMEDAY, just not today.

Owlpaw decided it is time to prove herself to her mentor! Ealy this morning, she was the first to leave camp, eager to catch a satisfying prey. Wandering around all day, shes had many close calls, but no luck so far. owlpaw is unwilling to give up so easily, she WILL succeed, and if it takes her all day!
After a day of wandering around, the sun is starting to set, and owlpaw is determined to not return wihtout prey. Finally, her endurace pays off! She spotts a young rabbit near a bush, scraping loudly in the dirt, giving her the perfect opportunity to strike. Owlpaw positions herlsev, so the wind wont carry her scent to the prey , and creeps closer, just as she was taught. and with one leap, she had teh struggeling rabbit in her paws. One strong bite in the throat and a few kicks later, the rabbit secumbs to its wounds, leaving her victorious.
