a whisper echoes through the hills, and all throughout the forest. deep within the woods, a pale gray cat makes their way through thick forest, pale green eyes searching for something...though they don't yet know what.

the blue cat finds a deep hole, and within, a glimmer of star shine. the cat's ears prick up, and they slowly descend into the crater.

as they reach the bottom of this shelter, the star shine forms into a cat, ghostly pale with glowing eyes and an aura of wisdom radiates off of them. Poppystar they say, Your old name I cast off, and a new one bestow. You know why you are here, or else you would not have sought me out. This crater will keep you and yours sheltered. I name thee Poppystar, leader of Swiftclan, now go.

the silent form of Poppystar stalks through the forest, the wind at his face. his haunches twitch, the only warning given before he leaps forward, catching a single mouse beneath his claws.

could you please add how old Poppystar is? This is to help keep track of things like who needs to eat, and when a cat can start having the chance to die of old age. For your leader, I would recommend anywhere between 19-32 months old, and they'll age by 1/2 a month every time you post :)

As the sun set far off on the horizon, a jet black cat pads through the desert. Their paws are weary, but their amber eyes flash with determination. Their tail-tip sways in the wind, and the cat pauses, scenting the air. A gust of wind wraps gently through their fur, tinted with stardust, and the cat smiles.

They continue walking, until the sun has abandoned the world and darkness begins to reign. It is then, that a shining set of paw steps light the way for the cat to follow. They reach the boundary of a forest, and it is here that a second cat makes themselves known. Cat who Wanders they say, glowing eyes staring into the living cat. Your old name I cast off and a new one bestow. Your time of wandering is at an end RoseStar, this is where you shall make your new home. the spirit fades away, and the newly named RoseStar is left to circle this sheltered bit of desert alone...

A tabby cat dances easily through the muck of a thick moor. Gently balancing on a stone that juts from the swampy land, the brown feline's golden eyes scout the grass. Tracking a soft blue glow, the cat takes a leap, and lands on one of the first dry spots they've seen since entering the moorland.

There, in the center of a circle of high stones, is a glowing spirit cat. The cat nods to them, and speaks. You have shown great perseverance in finding me here. I deem you worthy of the challenge you have set upon yourself. Behold, I take away your old name, for you shall not need it anymore. From now on, you are Reedstar, leader of the fog. their words spoken, the spirit fades away, leaving the tabby alone...

An orange and white cat stands alone in a clearing, surrounded by undergrowth. It has been months since they were last here, and a sort of sadness permeates the air. There is a flicker of star shine, and a spirit steps before the cat, looking down at them expressionless. The living cat bares their fangs, hissing, but the spirit speaks before they can. What happened here so long ago was a tragedy. But your determination to live has proven to us that you are ready. Perhaps this time...things will be different."

The orange cat flicks their tail, eyes narrowing in a challenge. The spirit nods, and continues. I take away your old name, for it is no longer who you are. I bestow upon you the name Sunstar, may you guide these ashes into a new future, which burns bright..

The spirit fades, leaving Sunstar alone with only the ghost of memories behind...
