This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Cub|Mangroves The cub squeals- bapping Katniss on the paw before darting away into the brambles- surprisingly becoming well hidden due to how short she was- if it weren't for her tail- she might have been impossible to find. " You're it! you're it!" She calls out in a playful tone- scrambling through the forest and stumbling over roots and rocks. She giggles- tripping over a small stone and down a slope- she knocks the wind out of herself a little bit. Now covered in a few brash scrapes and scuffs. But she dosen't seem to mind. She shuffles upwards- shaking the dirt from her coat. She blinks- Seeing a few strangers a good while away. She tilts her head. Were they nice strangers? Katniss | Mangroves They nod their head, beginning to count to ten to give the cub some time to hide, clearing their throat before speaking. “ One.. two.. three.. four.. five- ,” the movements of their jewelry echoed in their ear, and they couldn’t help but peak out of the corner of their eye, smiling when they see a small tail sticking out of a bush. “ Six.. seven.. eight.. nine.. ten! ,” he moves away from the tree he counted by, dashing towards the bushes the cub had been hiding behind, surrounded by trees and rocks, his paws cut and scraped by small debris hidden on the forest floor. He laughs a little to himself, feeling like a young cub again, after having snuck out of the mangroves. They paused for a moment, taken aback from the memories, freezing in their position, tripping from how fast hey stopped, letting out a loud yelp, their wound almost reopening if it weren’t for him grabbing his arm after tripping. “ Ouch.. ,” they yelped out, before looking around to realize they had fallen, hearing the young cub nearby, grinning to himself. “ I’m gonna find you.. ,” he says with a sinister laugh, looking around for the cub, although finding it difficult due to the dim lighting, having to depend on their hearing mostly. Hearing a twig snap, they ran towards the source of the noise, finding the small cub, only to realize there were others with them- although unsure of who they were, accidentally falling over a small rock, hoping the other lions weren’t made aware of his appearance. Grandpaw Howlite| Mangrove As he speaks with the group- he spots something out of the corner of his eye that makes his heart drop. It looked like a little cub He blinked- rubbing his eyes with the backs of his paws before looking again. " what in the blue blazes..?" He murmur- shuffling upwards and towards where he thought he saw the little cub without a word to the group. His brow furrowed- he hadn't even noticed Katniss near by. Ariel smiles- starting to trot towards him with a friendly smile. She looks back to her new friend- tilting her head. " Aren't you coimg? There is more friends over there!" Mudstone scampered over to the center, sitting near Harris and acting as tough as she could. She wanted to blab to someone about what she had seen, but she didn't know who to trust. Jumbo | Appraoching He was the largest in the Agate family, but still excessively small for a lion. He padded along, head hung low as he judged the branches beneath his nimble paws to be certain they could hold his weight. Katniss | Mangroves They nearly gasped, trying to grab the cub, only able to get ahold of her paw, causing the cub to turn around. “ You kinda look alike! ,” the cub said with a giggle, pointing between both Howlite and Katniss, laughing at Katniss’s scared expression. “ Y-Yeah.. ,” they say with a stutter, backing away from the cub, trying to pull her back with him, blushing under his fur, a deep color of pink. 0 players like this post! Angel|Sleekwaters The king exits the lovers den- eyes bloodshot from crying- and head pounding. A broodmother approached him frantically- making him flinch. " H-have you seen my baby?!? Ariel?? " She sobs to him- shaking with fear and grief. He blinks- rubbing his eyes while he speaks. As if enough hadn't already gone wrong today.. " No.. I-I'm sorry. I'll have the guards look around." He informs her- quickly telling the small guard group before wandering back down towards the altar cove to sniff around once more. His eyes grew wide as he spotted two sets of pawprints- one large, one small- leading into the ocean. He feels a growl rise in his throat- everything coming to a boiling point- " TREE LIONS!!!!" He roars- swiping at the pawprints in rage. He huffs- fur rising, and claws unsheathing. He snarls to himself- stomping into the forest- crushing small roots and plants under his feet. One might have mistaken him for some crazy monster with how enraged he was. " WHERE ARE YOU!?!" She groomed herself in preparation in seeing jumbo again, combing back some stray hairs on Harris. She looks back to her friend with hopeful eyes.. she felt a bit awkward.. and a little scared- that much was clear by her shaking legs. " Y-you said.. You said I could stay the night! r-right?" She stammers- getting more panicked by the second Angel|Mangrove He steamrolls through the forest- a few guards behind him- trying to disway him going in any further- but he doesn't care. He was far too angry. First his grave tender. Now this? He'd tried to be nice, understanding. But this was one step too far. He panted- fangs gnashing and tail thrashing. " WHERE IS MY CUB!!!"
