This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Katniss | Mangroves | He adverts his attention to the cub, ignoring his family to the best of his abilities, instead, trying to calm the cub down. “ Y-yeah, it’s fine! ,” he manages to mutter out, wishing the ground would open and swallow them whole, still trying to get the cub t back away from their family, beginning to sweat under their fur. “ N-Nothing’s wrong wi-with you being here, kiddo! ,” he says with an awkward laugh, looking up to their family once, almost terrified at the sight of all their family members staring back, looking disgusted with his behavior, trembling as he watched his father’s gaze, looking back down to the cub. “ Everything’s fine, little one.. ,” their voice sounds like a cry now, his words coming out in broken stutters and sentences, looking pitiful for a lion who had just kidnapped a cub. “ I-It’s just a par of the g-game ! ,” they put on a smile, trying to ignore their families stares, although they could feel the piercing gazes his family threw his way, almost burning into his skin, shaking him to his core. 0 players like this post! Mudstone | Mangroves She slinks forward, belly close to the ground, and snatches the cub by the scruff. She scurries backwards with them and cradles them close. "We're gonna get you home." Angel|Mangroves Angel starts to pick up his pace as he smells a mingle of sleekwater and strangers. Almost foaming at the mouth with rage. He snarls- pouncing onto the scene- his bulky frame low to the ground, only reaching his full height when he narrows his eyes in on Katniss- he's panting- eyes slitted and deadly as he starts to talk in a voice that was laced with hatred and fury. " You." He simply speaks- his voice almost grainy sounding from how much he was growling. " YOU TOOK. OUR CUB?!?!" He roars- spittle flying from his maw- which was wide enough to show all of his long sharp teeth. Grandpaw Howl|Mangrove He's speechless- confused and hurt. Why would they do this? His thoughts are cut off by the apperance of a rather bulky and tall lion. Radiating an energy that made him fall ill. Shit. SHIT. " u-uhm! We- We uh! They uh- d-didn't mean no harm in it sir!" He sputters out with a nervous smile- blocking off his family a bit. " BULLSHIT! First you hurt my grave tender. Now you steal my CUB!?!? DO YOU HATE ME!?!?" Katniss | Mangroves They freeze for a moment, completely frozen. “ I-I..,” they try to speak, but his words come and go, to much to say for anyone to take in, instead, his voice coming out small, a meaningless whisper. He finally moves, sliding over to get in between Howl and Angel, almost whimpering if it weren’t for their own pride, looking at the angry lion in front of them with an emotionless looking face, trying their best to hold back from showing any kind of emotions- deciding not to look at the rest of his family. “ I didn’t steal ‘em for no reason- you threatened me! ,” they say, trying to make up an argument, not wanting to seem like he was a horrible person- that he would steal a cub for no reason. “ I was gonna giver her back! ,’ he yells out, his defense sounding like a sad plea for mercy. 0 players like this post! Angel| Mangroves He freezes- his brain flatlining due to how enraged he feels. The guards have caught up to him now- looking at the group wearily, growing protective once they spot the missing cub. Angel laughs- in utter shock. The AUDACITY of this kid was astounding. He breaths in- trying to contain his anger- instead taking a sizeable chunk out of a thick tree a few paces away with a horrid snarl. He turns back- his pupils practically lines at this point. " Are you.. SERIOUSLY. Trying to tell me you thought I THREATENED YOU!?! I ASKED YOU NICELY. NICELY- TO NOT ATTACK MY PRIDE!" He roars- now inches away from Katniss's face- His fangs and jaws even bigger when up close. " Well... I gave it my best shot with you.. I tried to be nice. And I will give you this. AND ONLY this chance- to say you are sorry. And that you were wrong. Before I rip off your tail and STRANGLE YOU WITH IT" He shouts- his voice booming off the small trees in the area. 0 players like this post! Agatha | Trees After a day of meandering the trees, hunting and looking at the birds, Agatha makes his way back to the clearings. In the trees Agatha stops to witness the standoff with Kat in the middle of it. The managed to steal a cub. A whole cub. Agatha couldn’t believe it. Grumbling under her breath, she silently slinks to the floor, standing beside her ma. The only sound she makes when the moves is the sound of her jewls clinking together. 0 players like this post! Lucien | Mangroves She snarled in ferocity when an unknown male male came barging in, motherly instincts going haywire to protect her babies. Moving beside Howl’s side Lucien kept her eyes on the male, “What they did was wrong but their sorry!!” Her head aches from the stress of the situation, the male was much larger than her and Howl, even jumbo. Lucien eyes kept going back and forth between the male and Kat, making weak attempts to grab them and pull them back to her. Katniss | Mangroves They flinch, trying to back away from the lion in front of them, still showing no emotion, but everything inside of him were blowing up, a mixture of feelings and emotions they couldn’t hold in much longer. “ I- I’m sorry- god damn it! ,” he says, the first few words a mumble, the last part a loud roar, matching Angel’s tone of voice, pounding his claw into the dirt. “ J-Just stay the hell away from my family! ,” he says, looking at Angel with a disgusted look, as if they hated having to even be near the lion. 0 players like this post! He Screeches- snapping at the air in front of him- and snatching the cub away from Mud with a growl. " And here I thought you people may actually give me a break." He laughs. " BUT NOoOOO Everywhere I go I'm somehow an enemy! Is that it?" He looks back to the group- genuine hurt in his eyes. " You all wouldn't get it. You've never had to run from anything before." He mutters- holding the cub close with a shaking paw. " I spent my WHOLE life- watching my family die in front of me. Over and over again. You don't know what it is to see somebody you called your cousin- your aunt, your uncle- dead on the ground with their skin ripped from their bodies!" He chokes out- tears running down his face. " I don't understand you cruel people. I don't understand why everybody thinks we're some sort of threat! Or not good enough! Shame on you! All of you!" He shrieks- ears pinned against his head. " So I'm sorry that I think you taking a cub from my family is a big deal. I'm sorry if you get offended when I ask you to be kind to me and my family. " He spits towards katniss. Katniss |Mangroves At this point, he looks enraged, to tired to hide how he really feels any longer, almost getting into Angel’s face if it weren’t for the audience , instead digging his claws into the dirt, spitting at the ground Angel stood on. “ What the HELL does me kidnapping a cub do anything with you watching some bozo MURDER your family?! ,” he screams, throwing their paws into the air, dirt flying as they moved about, pounding their claws into the ground. “ NOTHING! IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! ,” they’re screaming, thrashing their arms about, his tail swinging loosely behind him, the jewelry they wore dirtied and a few of the crystals missing, the sound of the jaspers clicking against his body mixed with the sounds of their yelling and screaming. They look beyond angry- their paws hitting the cold ground over and over, their steps loud and deep into the soil, leaving small marks behind, his claws dirtied and filled with dirt. “ I’m done with you and your fancy lil’ pride! ,” he screams, turning to point as their family. “ And I’m done with you!! ,” he screams at them, locking eyes with Howl. “ I’M your own damn FAMILY! Your son, your grand cub! Your sibling! And yet- you defend some outsiders takin’ OUR land! ,” they sound hurt now, teary eyed, before pulling at his face, annoyed at the emotions they felt. 0 players like this post!
