This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. Katniss | Mangroves He should have known better then to trust his father- the very lion who gave them all his scars, but couldn’t help it when they say their father like that. He sighed, a pitiful sound, his short and cut ears going back, a sad expression on their face. “ I- I don’t k-know pa.,” they admit, one paw holding the other as he spoke, a way of comforting themself. “ I-It’s just.. I-I wanted to pr-prove myself, Pa. Show y-you I’m w-worth your approval.. not s-some ugly, st- stuttering mess. ,” he looks down now, sadness taking over their emotions as his eyes tear up, letting go of his paw to wipe his tears. 0 players like this post! The Femur Bone That Deserved Better As Hyena pushed on it, there was almost the sound of whispering. The voice sounded young and afraid, choking on tears and blood. It was impossible to make out what the voice was saying, but it was obviously in great distress. Somehow, there was the sensation of another pair of paws on Hyena's, small and weak, but with their help the femur bone began to crack. Sand and black blood trickled out of the cracks, splinters breaking off and morphing into scorpions and spiders as they hit the ground. The newly born creatures scuttled off, hiding in the nest and the crevices where they fit. None of this landed on or near Hyena. Finally, with a shriek that sounded like it was coming from miles away and that only Hyena could hear, the bone snapped in half. One half would make a good toy for cubs, free of any sharp edges or splintering bits. But it quickly began to age and crack, teeth marks lining its surface and that same blackish blood oozing out like molasses. The other half, however, looked almost like a man-made dagger. A handle near perfectly suited for Hyena's paw and the other end a jagged mess of spikes and serrated edges. It still looked like half a femur bone, but somehow it had also become a weapon. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Adora | Sleekwater She huffed- trying to catch a breath after having run after Elvira for so long, protecting the snack she had gotten from Angel’s den, still trying to give it to the lioness. “ H-Hey. ,” she says through long, heavy breaths, although the lioness ahead of her seems unfazed, forcing her to have to go even further, speeding after Elvira now. They finally reached the healers den- Adora heaving as she tried catching her breath, holding high the snack, tightly grabbing the blanket. “ C-Can we talk? ,” she manages to huff out, holding her chest as she speaks. 0 players like this post! Angel|Sleekwater He began cleaning up what was left over, scrubbing down the table with some water and a cloth. He felt even more solemn then he did earlier. He shouldn't have made elvira came. She most likely wouldn't have gone had he not been the king. He sighs- letting his head fall on the table in agitation. " Big.. stupid.. dummy. Dumb. Dumhead." He tells himself- just letting himself wallow in his own self pity for a good few moments. At least the other two had enjoyed their meals. He began to wander around his den.. his pawprints echoing off the wide empty space. He felt lonely. It seemed like back in lushpelt he always had somebody to talk with. Or a mission to be completed. But- instead there was silence. Peace. Yet- it was sad. Hyena|Sunbaked She watches- flinching a bit at the sudden bugs and ooze that dripped from the bone. And how quickly the other half seemed to fade away. She blinks- looking to the half she still held. It was perfect. She laughs- a bit in shock that she'd been somewhat right. She chuffs- getting up to her paws- and placing the bone in one of her leg wrappings- hiding it strangely well. She grins- eyes half lidded as she dips her head to the air. " I won't fail you. And thank you." She adds on- stepping out of the den to find Coy. She wanted to see what he had in mind for her. Would he want her at his side? Or would he demand she stay behind? Either worked for her. She knew what she had to do after all. She chuffs- striding behind him with a proud smile. " You look like a god my dear." She praises- lying through her fangs as she often did. In truth he looked like a twitchy mess- eyes tinted with green and smile unhinged. It was amusing. Dayla|Sunbaked She looks at him- thinking for a moment with a playful hum. “ What a situation.. Do I tell you my name.. Or do I keep it a mystery from you? So you can only have my face to recall me by..” She chuffs playfully- smirking a bit. She lets the moment hang with implications- shrugging. “ Maybe I'll tell you next time. It’ll give you a reason to try and find me” She chuckles- prancing off with a slight skip in her step. “ Till then” She farewells to him- winking before stepping off. 0 players like this post! Jumbo | Mangroves He placed a gentle paw on Katniss's shoulder and pulled him in for a hug, "Ye ain't mess cause ye stutter, son. And ye ain't ugly neither. If anybody gives ye lip about yer stutter, I'll break their jaws and see how well they talk then." He pulled back, looking Katniss in the eyes, "Yer mine flesh and blood, Kat, and I'll be damned if ye think yer an ugly mess fer yer stuttering and scars. And yew ain't needin' to prove yerself to me." He seemed so caring in this moment, as if he truly loved Katniss and wanted what was best for him. That is, until his hooked claws dug deep into Kat's shoulder and scraped against the bone. The ends popped back out of his son's skin, practically looping and creating a handle that he hoisted him up with and flung him to the side. Before Katniss could even think about getting up, Jumbo was pinning him down. "Yer a disgrace cause yer fuckin' stupid." He spat, "Ye never stop to think, ye only ever act on impulse- no better than a snappin' turtle!" He snarls and digs his claws into the muddy earth on either side of Katniss. "Yew make me sick, thinkin' yer my own flesh and blood and yet ye go and do stupid shit like steal a cub from a pride of hundreds or more." Jumbo got off of Katniss and circled him. "I ain't ever gave a fuck about yer stutter, son, I ain't ever care about the scars ye've forced me to give ya, but yer actions? The way ye treat yer fam'ly? Ye've already proved yerself to me, Katniss, and ye ain't even worth the mud you walk on. 'Specially after that shit you pulled." 0 players like this post! Like? |
