Petra ( Ares ) | Heartbreak Cave

She steadies herself- a bit surprised at the all white lion’s appearance, huffing as she realized it was only a lion. Her attention drifted over to the lioness with her cub, giving them a sharped and cracked tooth smile- much similar to the other guards in Sunbaked- picking up a claw to give them a wave. “ Cute lil’ gremlin you got there! ,” she says, pointing at the cub next to Shadows Blossom, before her attention goes back to her bag, shuffling though small and large objects- looking for her cloak once again, although she hoped the black dye would be good enough for her new appearance. Looking at a small mirror in her bag, her once chocolate brown fur, only dirtied by blood, now pitch black, her orange eyes staring back at her in the mirror’s reflection.

Jumbo | Mangrove

He watched as his mother and father turned, nearly as one, and retreated into the nesting trees. He ushered his mate and cubs to go off and do something useful before he snagged Katnis.

"I knew ye was an idiot, but really? This is a new low even fer yew." Jumbo shook his head, spitting at the side. He motioned for Katniss to follow him as he wandered deeper into the mangroves and away from any other family members.


Mudstone | Mangroves/Sleekwater

She wanted to apologize, beg for forgiveness and plead with Angel not to wipe out her family based on her brother's pigheaded actions. But she wasn't brave like Sage or strong like Agatha. She was small and skittish. Even Harris was braver than she was. She heard Sage's voice and instantly adjusted course to avoid approaching him. She didn't really want to see anyone right then.


Sunbaked
Soft Paw | Sunbaked, Center | Open, Quill, Faron

She hadn't been able to get that lion out of her head, she was pretty sure it hadn't been a drunken dream when she found some strange fur between her claws. It was as if she had pulled the stranger close during the night. She was shaken out of her reverie by Quill zooming past. She laughed at his actions, overjoyed he had survived for so long. However, her heart was heavy with the guilt of knowing what had occurred in the Wastes Den. She shuddered as she remembered.


Shadow Blossoms | Outskirts | Open

She lazed about outside of the cave, organizing her newly gathered herbs based upon their uses first, then she thought it would be better to organize them based on age, then smell, then size. She continued to redo the groupings, but was never happy with it. She grumbled, one eye on the herbs and the other on Calida. She was becoming an expert at multitasking.


Moonlit Dove | Other/Wastes Den | Open

There was barely any room to move, let alone breathe. She snapped at anyone who got too close and winced when her tail was stomped upon by a bumbling cub. She couldn't fathom how Moogly had endured the beatings and the cubs for so long. Tripod and Half-Head were curled up together in a nest with one of the broodmothers, Silver or something of the same. She really didn't care.


Coy Fish | Guards | Open

"We march come sunrise!" He bellowed out, looking at his gathered and well-fed pridemates. He had chosen only the best of his fighters, including some hybrid males who longed to prove that they were more than just a pretty member. They had already gathered supplies and had been training for months on end for the upcoming battle. Coy was still frazzled and snapped easily at every little thing, the scent of dream root heavy on his breath.

Watching as her mentors walked away, suddenly Honey was overwhelmed. She'd never been left alone with all of the cubs before. And yes, Hel and Haven were in the den, she couldn't really count on them to help her take care of the cubs; it wasn't fair to the couple.

He shuddered, biting his bottom lip as they followed his father deep into the twisting mangroves, worried if they were going to trip at the pace he was walking- although he had much larger things to worry about.

Adora and Mello | Sleekwater

Adora watches the lioness go- an awkward expression on her face as Mello speaks, the large lionesses’s tone uncaring and rude. “ What’s her problem? ,” Mello asks with a chuckle, gaining a glare from Adora, the blonde lioness going after Elvira, no more then a wave goodbye to Angel, completely ignoring Mello as she follows the lioness from the den, grabbing a piece of food on her way out, along with a comfortable looking piece of cloth, long enough to cover a lion’s body.

He chuffs, blushing heavily as he waves a paw in the air, "I, I s-suppose we sh-sh-should." He finally responds, voice cracking as he purred.

Angel|Sleekwater

He shakes his head " No no! Please feel free to eat! Everything is ready! I thought it'd be nice to have a quaint little breakfast after.. everything that's happened." He chuckles nervously- reaching for a slice of trout and biting half of it off. He dips the other half into the honeycomb- soon finishing that piece as well.

He takes a quick drink of water- happily munching on the fresh tasting fish. Haven sure did know how to get some good food!

He glances over to the healer- expecting to see a smile, only to see what seemed to be apathy. He felt a pang of guilt hit his chest.. She must have felt obligated to go.. Since he was king and all. He honestly hadn’t felt like Royalty at all.. Aside from royaly stupid.

Dayla|Sleekwater

She frowns at Agatha- shaking her head and tutting. " Well. Three's a crowd. And don't worry- I'm quite alright" She reassures Sage- standing to her paws.

She yawns- putting her veil back on and starts to pad back down the river- headed to her post

Haven|Sleekwater

He laughs- letting her groom him excessively- dramatically flopping on his side when she finished.

" Ah- this is it. The end- tell my wife I love her." He acts- sticking out his tongue and closing his eyes. He giggles- letting himself sit back up to rest his chin on Hel's head. He couldn't stop purring- getting teary eyed at the thought of his own little cubs.

" You're a wonder my dear.. You'll be a wonderful mother." He praises- looking at her now- eyes laced with passion and love.

Hyena|Sunbaked

The queen had let herself rest for the night- currently in Coy's den- running her claws down the femur bone that always seemed to be near. She spoke hushly.

" perhaps.. I'm simply a fool. But- Wyvern. You died far too soon.. And now you must lay here- having your mindless brother toss you around like he did when you were alive. I've seen this bone of yours tossed and battered- and yet it does not break. But I wonder..." She hums softly- gliding her paw up to the top of it- her voice dripping with malice.

" Would you break for me? My dear? " She whispers now- smiling.

" So I may plunge you deep into your brother's throat? So I may take his life.. with what's left of yours?"

She asks Starting to push pressure on the femur- wondering if this would work. Or if she was simply acting as crazy as Coy had been.

Jumbo | Mangroves

When they are far enough from the family that they wouldn't even be able to hear them even if they were yelling, he stops. He turns to Katniss and sits down, motioning for him to do the same.

"Kat, what has gotten under yer skin? This ain't the strappin' lion I left to protect the family, this is a stranger wearin' the skin of my own kin." He shook his head, mane waving in the breeze that blew through the trees. His claws were sheathed and his body language would have led any to believe he was truly just wanting to understand where his son was coming from and how to help him.
