This is (LOOSELY) based off of my adoption thread located here! This will be edited lots before I am satisfied with it, but ya know! This is where the RP will happen, I request that we try to keep OOC chat in the OOC forum, but I won't enforce it too hardcore. Some Rules: - All 18+ actions are to be fade to black - nothing involving minors and adults - Please put a warning before any gore, mutilation, or descriptive harm (self or otherwise) - Do not have a response that describes how someone else's character reacts UNLESS this has been previously okay'ed by the original player Each pride will be listed with a link to their respective page in the R&T Prides Forum. It is up to the creator of said pride to update it as people join! However, if they are anything like me, they may need occasionally reminders lol. But don't be pushy!! I will try to update this ASAP as people join and switch up their roles as well!! As a reminder, I would love people joining my pride just remember that the lion/lioness either HAS to have a mutation or fake it somehow to be allowed in the pride. He lives out near the Oasis that is unclaimable by any prides. That is monkey only territory. At the mention of the grave tender consideration she smiled, “Aurora sounds a lovely name for a little girl and I’ve thought of some names, like K'len for a little boy or Elindine, another girl name.” Purring at the sight of haven resting his head on her growing stomach. She licks the side of his face as she stretches to reach, “Although the one think I’m most curious about is if they will turn out like you my love, maybe both of them or just one. Thinking about it if they are leopon I fear for our den, they poor walls will be covered in scratches, it reminds me of the times you did that too when we were younger. ” 0 players like this post! Angel|Sleekwater " Great! Follow me then" He insists with a purr in his voice. He travels with the healer to the hoard- picking up a nice fresh trout that was plump with meat. He leads them both to his den- and nods his head at the two ladies he had invited earlier. " Lemme go get this fish ready- feel free to go out on the balcony if you'd like to watch the sunrise!" He offers- shuffling into an area with a large flat and slightly raised stone in the center. He places the fish down and begins to carve it with his claws- picking out the bones and tossing them outside his window. He hums- getting some herbs out from what seemed to be a small crate in the corner- that was filled with soil and fresh plants. He picks some off- and also grabs some honey comb from another crate that was nearby. That one being filled with an assortment of different things in small hide pouches. He places four cuts of honey comb around the table- and sprinkles the herbs over the slices of fish in the center of the stone. He usually put herbs on his food- often not for taste but for general health. He figured the others could simply brush it off if they didn't want any on their share of food. Lastly he grabs small four bowls and fills them with nice cool water. He dusts off his paws- looking to the table with pride. He was always oddly neat with his food- even if others often made fun of him for it. He simply liked it a certain way. Haven|Sleekwater He chuckles- blushing slightly. " Oh please.. I wasn't that bad! I was just a spunky cub. They'll be a mix of us both- so they'll have your composure I'm sure." He smiles- grooming over Hel's tummy with soft purrs and chirps. " And I love those names my dear. K'len would be perfect for a little boy- Elindine is also perfect. I'll be happy as long as they're healthy and safe.." He sighs- throwing half of the blanket onto Hel with a warm grin. He looks at the bits of honey stuck to the ground with a smug giggle- scooping up a bit with his finger and licking it off. " My dear- be honest. Are you secretly a honey bee in a lion's pelt? I won't be mad. We'll make it work" He jokes, raising his eyebrows playfully. 0 players like this post! Okapi|Sleekwater|Najwa She finds them after the funeral, huffing and making sure to step loudly. She sits by them, looking over “Hey…how’re you holding up with all of this?” Sage|Open Sage runs off after the meeting, not wanting anyone to see him lose it. He goes to a quiet spot off in the trees, by the river bordering them and the pride. He lays by the water as he starts to cry. How could Kat do this? After everything? Adora & Mello | Sleekwater She hums a tune to herself, white flowers bouncing along her back as she walked, each step carefully taken as to not harm herself on her way, soon accompanied by Mello. “ Hey! ,” Mello says, her voice loud and booming, scaring a few nearby birds away, cawing in the distance. Adora stops her singing, gasping as she steps back, realizing it was only Mello. “ You’re quite energetic.,” the blonde lioness says with a laugh, continuing her walk with Mello following next to her, continuing the song Adora sung, a harmonuis tune as they sung together, Adora happy to have company that wasn’t one of the cubs, but couldn’t shake the guilt she felt for leaving them- even if it only was a short amount of time. The lions reach a stop, blue eyes glancing over to red fur, glistening at the sight. “ Well- we’re here! ,” Adora pauses, looking inside the den, finding Angel with different kinds of foods. Dayla|Sleekwater The miss had had a rough night- and Salem was pounding at her head- trying to get her to talk with him again. But she was still far too angry at him. She began traveling along a small river near the graveyard- letting the sounds of the rushing water soothe her head. She sighs- blinking at the sight of two slightly familiar faces. " Oh! Hello again Mr. Sage. And hello to you as well Evangeline.'' She greets a bit formally- the scar where Kat had scratched her healed over fine. She notices his slightly less than enthusiastic posture- but doesn't comment on it. She takes a spot a couple paces from the two- taking off her veil and placing it to the side to let the sun hit her face. She sighs. " Don't worry- he's a friend. Of sorts" She informs to the lioness Angel|Sleekwater " Welcome! Welcome! I have trout slices, honeycomb, and water waiting for us! Come on in!" He invites them into the dinning room- a large table made of stone in the center with the fish sliced up in strips. " Take a seat anywhere! I have water for us as well." He grins- starting to water the small garden he had in the corner. " I hope you don't mind but I sprinkled some honey bush on the fish! I try to eat a bit everyday- just to stay healthy." He remarks. Adora & Mello | Sleekwater Adora nods, followed by Mello beside her, the red tigon’s expression breaking into a large grin. “ Don’t mind if I do~! ,” the lioness says, flopping herself into a comfortable position, picking at her sharp teeth, completely unbothered by the royalty in the room. Adora payed no mind to the lioness across from her- instead walking up to Angel, dusting off her paws before letting out a small sigh. “ Anything I can do to help? ,” she inquires, a nice, small smile appearing on her face, fixing the flower crown she wore while she awaited her King’s response, doe eyed as she watched Angel at work, admiring the lion in front of her. 0 players like this post! Hel | Sleekwater: Broodmothers |Mentions: Haven She laughs at his joke as she decided to play along, “Yes my darling it seams that my secret is out!” She puts a paw on her forehead, “whatever shall I do now, maybe sting you to keep quite.” She starts furiously licking his face with fits of laughter as she enjoyed the time with him. When she finished her “attack” she couldn’t be help but laugh more at the sight of haven, bits of his fur standing up, some at points. Hel couldn’t help but adore these moments between them, cherishing them like gold. It even added to the fact of them becoming parents although it didn’t come without the worries of not being the best mother. The anxiety and worries keeping her up but with haven at her side it made her feel better, reassured. “They should be developed more by the next couple of days, maybe even kicking.” She says in a whispered tone, fixing some of the furs in his mane as she looked into his eyes. 0 players like this post!
