Hadleigh|Double Den

She smiles- nodding along with Aneesha's words.

" I think that's a fine Idea. But for now, I'd like to speak to the boy one on one. He's remarkable, yes- but I still want to make sure he's a good fit for you."

She requests. Panya tries not to let his anxieties show as the older lioness leads him away from the double den.

They walk in awkward silence for a bit before Hadleigh speaks up.

" So! I haven't even caught your name!" She laughs slightly. Panya smiles before responding.

" Ah.. My name is Panya.. Miss." He quickly informs her- clearly a bit sheepish. Hadleigh nods.

" A fine name! Now how old are you, my boy?" She asks next

" Over a year miss, my pride didn't keep very good track of birthdays so I'm not sure about months but I do know I'm over one!" He responds, seemingly a little stiff.

" Very good- now you're a warrior right? May I ask how many you've killed?"

There's an odd chill to her tone as a cruel smile lines her muzzle. Panya swallows hard- never reacting well to the memories of the friends he had to kill to live. He takes a moment before responding in a dull voice.

" Over 10.. Miss." He replies- eyes focused on the ground. Hadleigh seems content with this and pats his back.

" Well! I don't see why you would be anything other than perfect for my dear Aneesha!" She chuffs. Panya grins again, feeling relieved that they could now turn back.

" But just so you're aware.. if you break her heart. I'll break your neck! Ok?"

She warns in a chipper tone. Panya blinks- a bit shocked but nods. He trots towards Aneesha and rubs up against her before sitting beside her in the nest.

Hadleigh opens her mouth to speak but is interrupted by Jade's screeching.

" EW!! WHY IS THE RAT BOY HERE!?!?" She hisses- her friends doing the same. Hadleigh looks to them confused and ashamed- growling as she speaks.

" JADE! Is that any way to greet a new guest??" She scolds her- Jade flushes, Imp coming in beside her to listen in on the argument.

" B-But Lady Hadleigh! I'm not lying! That's the pit rat!" She growls, glaring towards Panya. Hadleigh slaps her neck with a sheathed paw.

" Young lady! You hold your tongue before I hold it for you! I don't care who you think this is! He's going to be Aneesha's mate and I expect you to treat him well!" She grumbles. Jade is fuming but nods as she mumbles

" Yes Lady Hadleigh.."

" Good. Now! You all have a big day tomorrow! We'll be traveling to Peter's Altar early! So try to get some sleep!" She remarks- heading out to the broodmothers den.

Jade grits her teeth at Panya- who laughs sheepishly and waves a paw

Aneesha | Double Den

Aneesha laughs a bit at Jade's tantrum in her head as she returned the nuzzling from panya. She nodded her head along with the others when lady Hadleigh said they'd go to Peter's Alter, feeling excited once more.


"Don't mind jade, she seems all mean when you first meet her but she comes around later on. Once I heard she was amazing at weaving baskets so I came up to her to ask for one, she said no but later on that day she threw one at my head while I was eating" she whispered into panya's ear as she motioned towards the basket near her nest, a sizeable dent in its side as she chuckled fondly of the memory.



"She's very generous, isn't she? Can you come with me to where we keep the medicine? I want to put some salves on the parts of my ripped mane." She motioned towards a semi-long corridor in the back of the double den as it divided into two hallways. Down the right hallways Is where the medicine is kept in a tall wooden shelves and chest while the opposite hallway lead towards their own private pool the girls lounged in.

Jade|Double Den

She grumbles as she watches the two head to the medicine area. Before starting to Rant to Imp- who watches her with fondness.

" I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT OLD HAG!!" She snarls- slashing at the floor and stomping her paws.

" She never EVER takes my side! It's always- " She starts to ramble in a mocking tone " Oh BuT AnEeSHA WanTS thIS- Oh BUt AnEeSHa NEEdS THAt!" She whines- flopping down in her nest with a growl.

" She treats Nee more like a daughter than she does me!! I'm one of the only cubs she has left and she still brushes me off!" She pants- sniffling as tears start to dot her eyes. Imp frowns- coming over to cuddle with her.

" Forget her.. Once were wed we can escape to Sleekwater. " He sighs- grooming her fur. Jade pouts- tail lashing behind her.

" I know.. but it still hurts.."

Panya|Med area

The young lion looks around in awe- sniffing the herbal air with a smile. " Wow.. it's really lavish in here" He remarks- looking at their private den and the small hoard piled with only the best cuts of meat, as well as sweet fruits and treats. He licks his lips. Trying not to drool at the sight of them.

" So you've been here your whole life? That must be kinda nice at least.." He chuckles awkwardly- helping her reach some medicine on a high shelf with a giggle.

Aneesha | Double Den

“We’ll kinda I guess when I first came here when I was a cub I used to explore every crevice and memorized everything in here.” she mumbled out an thank you before taking the herbs and getting a wooden bowl.



“Once I got older I began wanting to see more than just the same walls you know? So at first Lady Hadleigh made these invisible borders for me and the others but then I explored all of that too, which made me try to explore outside them.” Going to a nearby shelf she gathered almost every piece of fruit squares and treats and threw them into the bowl. Making it nice and tidy she grabbed the bowl and placed it in front of panya before going back to the salves.



“I think I would explored less if they others would talk to me but they really don’t, not unless lady Hadleigh asks them too.” Aneesha starts to crush and turn the herbs into a paste like consistency as she added hot water to it.

Frost | Double Den | Open

Frost padded up to the Double Uterus den. She looked around and flicked her ear. She was bored and didn’t have much to do; her training was practically complete. She looked around, with a flick of her ear, at the commotion going on before her.

Jade|Double Den

She sighs- her mood shifting once she spots Frost. She smiles widely and trots up to her.

" Frost!!! Me and the girls got officially mated today!! Not that Hadleigh would disapprove of my handsome boyfriend."

She pridefully informs them. Her mate Imp, soon proving her point and sitting beside her. He dips his head to frost politely before looking to Jade as she speaks.

" This is Imp! Isn't he perfect??" She boasts, despite Imp being very much in love with her- Jade could care less. She had a lot of the same values Lady Hadleigh had, only wanting a mate that looked good standing beside her. One that had good genes to pass down.

She chuffs to Frost, inviting her in. The two other girls greet them as well with small waves.

" The other two got stuck with tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb." She snickers hushly to the older adol.

Panya|Double den

Though hesitant- Panya starts to gingerly eat the food placed in front of him with loud purrs- trying his best to listen to Aneesha as she spoke. But he had never had such wonderful food. His neat eating soon turned into famished guzzling. Sighing loudly when he had finished. He licked the sweet juices from his lips before talking.

" Wow. I would have killed for this "

He laughs awkwardly- looking around the den still. He didn't want to dump all his past traumas onto her.. but he couldn't help but feel a touch of envy. She understood where she was coming from. But he had felt the same way for a while- he just didn't have the privilege to try and bend the rules. It's not her fault he was born so undesirable to the pride of course. But he wondered why she would prefer the old horrid pride to this wonderful cave.

Aneesha | Double Den

"Im glad you like it, this is the only thing we eat around here. It's part of our diet regimen lady Hadleigh made."


Aneesha took away the empty bowl with a smile and chucked it into a water basin with a splash as the water swished in and out of the basin. Turning around back around to put the salve on she noticed his almost spaced-out look as he looked around the den,



"You ok Panya? You look deep in thought, is something wrong? If it's anything about Lady Hadleigh or the others I'm sure we can figure something out." She speaks worried that he might have been uncomfortable about something as she poured out the salves in her paw. With some difficulty Aneesha applied to the little tares in her neck, wincing a bit when the cool salve met it but soon sighed in relief as the pain subsided.

Panya|Double Den

" Huh? O-Oh! Uh- I'm fine! Just thinking about some things. It dosen't matter though- it's in the past and all." He shakes his head, a bit flustered that he had let himself become so dazed.

" Lady Hadleigh must really like you girls huh? " He changes the subject, finding the old lioness scary yet kind in an odd way.

" She sure did seem protective over you " He comments- rubbing the brusied spot on his neck where a dull rock had hit him after being slammed down by the miss.

Frost | Double Den

Frost looks at the younger adolescent. She is very confused about why the younger members of the pride are so interested in mating. Shouldn't they want to focus on being the best member of the pride they should? The lioness shakes these thoughts out, figuring that it is just lingering trauma from Coy Fish. "Ah, congratulations, Jade,"

They purr towards the younger adolescents, joining them in the circle. She sits down, half-way from gracefully, half-way to a flop. "Don't be mean, Jade," She sighs, all with a smile on their face. Frost knows that Jade is just messing around, but still, words and actions can hurt.

Aneesha | Double Den

“Haha yea she kinda is, sorry about that whole fiasco thing.” She laughed nervously as she looked away embarrassed.


“She’s always been like that since I came here, it's sweet sometimes but like you experienced she can easily get out of hand.” She puts away the leftover salve in another container. Looking into the opposite hallways she noticed that some of the girls come out, except for Jade.


“We’ll the girls are out of the baths, wanna come with? You don’t have to get it if you don’t know how to swim or you can go into the shallow end.” She coaxed as she grabbed a bundle of dried honey bush as she motions to the other end of the hallway.

Panya|Double den

He blinks- the only real bath he had ever had was when the pride would get the rare spell of rain. He was hesitant- never really being able to have the opportunity to swim in a pool of water. He had the lake, sure- but he never dared to go in. To scared of what might have lurked underneath.

“ Sure…? “ he agree’s sheepishly- turning his gaze away from the other girls as they chat and make there way over to a separate area to dry off.

He takes a deep breath once they enter the misty room- it was scented like honey bush and lavender.. he had no clue how.

He followed Aneesha, scared to dip his paws into the warm water. Worried he’d taint it or something.

Jade|Double den

Jade scoffs at Frosts light scolding with a small smile. Imp starts to groom down her fur as she chats with Frost and the others.

“ So! Since Harbinger is king now does that make you a princess?? Oh! Better yet, are you gonna be a queen??” She asks with wide eyes- always having the fantasy of being such since cubhood.

Frost | Double Den

Frost slowly blinks at the question. "I..." She pauses, considering what was happening. "Never thought of that. Uh, I guess I would be a princess? Cause a queen implies that I am ruling alongside him," At the last thought she gags. "Never make me think of that again," Frost bares her teeth at the thought.

The older lioness flicks her tail, very relaxed. They love listening to the gossip of the younger adolescents. It makes her wish there was someone in the pride about her age; maybe then she could chat with them and not feel so ancient. Though, it is nice to have discussion with everyone in the pride, no matter their age, Frost enjoys the gossip and information they can wiggle out of the others.

"Besides being mated," The beige and white lioness starts. "What else have you all been up to?"

Aneesha | Pool/Bath

She laughed as she saw the pool as the hot steam filled the air running forward as she jumped into the water. Underwater Aneesha swam around in the water with eyes squinted.


Looking back to where panya was she could see his blurry and wavy figure still standing near the ledge. With a blink of her eyes she swam over to panya, flinging her head back as her mane swooped backward as water trickled down her face.


“You wanna come in, it’s nice and warm! I can help bathe you and get any dirt out, I’ll be mindful of your scars.”
