Hmm. Nire grumbled neither confirming nor denying his self-degradation. At the very least he had his manners this time. Which were completely absent last time. It was enough for her to keep from spitting more insults at him. Nire. She said after a bit of hesitation. My name is Nire. But that was all she could think of providing him. The growing crowd was really starting to get under her skin however. The longer she stayed idle the more stiff she became, the more vulnerable she felt and all of these strangers were not comforting. They seem harmless enough but she had no idea when or how that would change.

Getting up she stretched a bit, loosening her bruised and stiff joints. Well, it has been swell meeting you all but I need to go. I suggest you all continue on from here as well. She looked back at them, giving them some advice on the area. I have been here for a few months and that rhino was all that was keeping us, me, here. There hasn't been anything larger than a scrub hare passing through in a week and I am sure you all saw the dreary state of the waterhole. She lightly bowed her head at them and started off towards the mountains, a subtle limp in her gate.

"Wait" he stamered to get up, he was clearly weak, almost bones at that "I know this is alot to ask for but please, help me, at least help me catch a meal to keep me going, Ill do anyhing, Ill return the favor and provide for your pride even if im not apart of it." Cobra had never found himself to be begging for help. "Im sorry I came off as iggnorent and stupid when we first met, I was young and dumb." he stayed quite for a moment. "Please"

Nyota backed off, realizing the male wanted Nire, plus, Nyota had trouble hunting as well, being skinny too. She stared at the helpless male, realizing he looked far worse then her

Nire stopped and looked back. Wrinkling her nose at his sad state, begging for help. I just said there was no herds left around here. There is nothing to hunt. She snapped at him before reigning herself back a bit. He really was a lot skinnier than when they last met. Pinning her ears she thought for a bit. I can't promise anything. She could let him follow her but she honestly had no idea if there would be a chance to hunt soon. She only knew there was a large river towards the mountains and if there was water, there would be some prey around.

"What about your pride would they have anymore room left for a male?" he asked "I can patrol and at least help look for food, Its the least I could do" He said with a calming tone.

She padded on, the scent of Nire growing slightly stronger. The cubs were getting tired, but they had a little more to go. Rory was of course the first to complain. “I’m tired mama! And my legs hurt. And I’m hungry.” She stopped for a moment. “A little more and then we can rest.” She picked him up and continued on.

Looking away Nire considers his question. I honestly can't say. There is a new male in the pride and I don't know anything about him. You would have to speak to him and Lyla. She just might be forgiving if you approach her with this new attitude of yours but I can't say anything about, what was his name again, Kyro? She shrugged, there wasn't much to worry about the cubs with Cobra being a sub-adult and weak. If you go back to the waterhole, Lyla's pride should be around there. At least until tomorrow morning. She was planning to move to new lands then.

Nire huffed as the lion left and looked to the other two, yet unnamed, lionesses. I am not sure what you both are looking for but if you want a pride, you should also go to find Lyla and her friend. I know she could use the help and are leaving for better lands. Again she nodded her head and went on her way. This time at a hot trot.

Nyota shrugged. she knew she was strong and could be the muscle of the pride, while getting food and shelter, maybe it wasn't a bad deal. She gave a side eye to the maned lioness, wondering what she would do

Nikos | With the small crowd

Her ears flattened as she listened to them speak, she was honestly overwhelmed. While the maned lioness was raised in a pride, she never really knew how to act around other lionesses as she only had brothers for siblings. Any other cub in the pride usually ignored her, which she didn't really care about... but now she's out here, given an option of joining a pride again. What could she even provide? Hunting? Nikos is good at hunting, but other than that she could only think of her climbing skills. That hardly had any use in a pride. She felt someone staring at her, Nikos turned her head and realized it was just the tall lioness. "I don't... Know? I mean, sure if they'll have me." Her voice was meek and soft.

Nire trotted for some time towards the mountains. The mountains themselves where not her destination but she had heard of stories of an eternal river that went on forever and never dried near them. There was only so much faith one could put into the old tales, but it seemed that most of the birds she happened to see were headed in the same general direction. If anyone would know it would be them, or the elephants but it had been a long time since she had seen one.

The grasslands just seemed to go on and on. Hardly a tree with decent shade to be found anywhere. Perhaps it had not been smart of her to start on her travel in the heat of the sun. Her trot eventually slowed to a lazy walk. Crawling at this pace for awhile, she perked up a bit when she happened to spot an vibrant cluster of Spekboom. The only green beacon she could see through the later day heat waves.

Crawling so her belly was exposed to the cooler dirt beneath the bush she sighed with relief. Panting she rested in the valuable shade, her head bobbing a bit from exhaustion. Sooner than later she propped her head against a branch and quickly fell asleep. It had been a long, eventful few hours and finally feeling secure and alone, her fatigue hit her hard and swiftly.

Stars swirled above the crystal clear water. Only a few stayed in place. Her feet were ever moving towards the still stars but the water, which she walked on, occasionally sunk pulling her down like deep sand. Her toes burning. llo'the. Just as the water-like, crystalline sand seemed to be pulling more aggressively, she felt a wave of cool Omn, ea. Wke'p. Ou ne to'rink. A breath and a touch kept pushing her forward where suddenly the mountains were before her, looming over her like giant jagged teeth but, somehow, she felt at ease.
