ROLEPLAY PROMPT: You follow the delicious aroma of a fresh kill, leaping over small streams and weaving your way through knots of vines and vegetation. As you peer through a particularly large clump of greenery, you notice a large lioness with her muzzle lowered, tearing into a carcass of some sort. She glances up at you and beckons for you to come closer. "Hello," she says in a cheerful voice. "I'm Amora. Would you like to join my pride?" You realise that she hold no ill intentions, so you crawl closer. As you near, the first thing that you notice about her is her giant stature, easily surpassing that of most adult male lions. The second, her impressive primal fangs. You consider what she has asked, weighing the pros and cons of her request. You stare deeper into her playful pink eyes, and a sense of content fills you. She grins at you. "I'll be waiting near the waterfall for the next week. Gather any lions you think might wish to join, and we can discuss business then. Oh, and you can keep the zebra." With a blink of an eye, she bounds off, leaving you with the carcass. Oh! It was a zebra! You chuckle to yourself, and submit to the growls of your stomach... INFORMATION AND RULES Hey y'all, this is my first group RP thingo ever. I'm kind of new to this game so please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So basically, this is a RELATIVELY realistic lion pride. By this I mean male lions can serve as hunters and brood mothers, females can be on patrol and can lead the pride, and will probably do things that lions don't normally do because I know absolutely nothing about lions. Also, this pride derives from IceShard's pride (https://www.lioden.com/topic.php?id=304429518962). 1. Please be respectful to everyone. That means no shaming anyone/anyone's OC for being colored, white, LGBT+, disabled, neurodiverse, or anything else I might have missed. 2. This is ONLY on Lioden. I don't have/want/need Discord. 3. Please don't plan out a structure for the RP. However, if you want lion/lioness to be mated with another, please check with that person first. 4. Mutations are allowed, just not Jaglions/Leopons/Tigons. 5. Please no magical powers. That's all I can really think of now. I'm going to create an OOC and a place to post a character sheet, and in one week we can start. If I've missed anything please let me know! Amora kept her back turned to the adolescent as she lead the way to the waterfall, but her ears open. She replied with her head turned slightly, "Yes, I am a queen. And yes, I have heard about your old king. He is a beloved member of my pride, and has willingly relinquished his role as leader. I want you to know that if you are to be a part of my pride you have to let go of the past." As she said this she paused and looked him directly in the eye. "Understand?" 0 players like this post! Cypress noticed her smile and felt his anxieties ease a bit. He huffed and grunted as they made it to the base of the path and released the boar's leg from his jaws. He panted as he sat down to take a break while waiting for their queen. He looked down at the boar in silence for several moments before he looked to Hafsa again. "Does it hurt...? She rested with Cypress until she heard his question. The question subconsciously made her lick the now mostly dried blood off. “No, it did initially but not anymore. I’ve had worse done by bigger prey to be honest with you.” She gave a big smile. “It may leave another cool scar though.” She chuckles to herself. She paused for a moment, “Are yo okay Cypress? Amora arrived at the base of the rocky path and found Hafda and Cypress in the middle of a conversation. She didn't want to interrupt, but she also didn't want Gwen to think that she was soft, too. She smiled slightly, thinking of how similar to Gwen she had once been. "Hey, Hafsa, Cypress. Sorry to interrupt, but we should probably get that boar up to the cave. Oh, and by the way, this is Gwen." She stepped aside to reveal the grumpy adolescent. Amora slipped through the small gap between Hafsa and Cypress with a mumbled 'excuse me' then seized the boar by the leg. She proceeded to drag it up the path, occasionally stopping to take a breath. When she arrived at the top she was drenched in sweat and the spray from the waterfall. 0 players like this post! Like? |

“Hey!” Ally called, coming over and letting out a whistle at the sight of the boar, it went lower at the sight of the adolescent. He smiled awkwardly. “Why’s that one still alive?” He said teasingly, but it was light. Gwen didn’t say anything, just huffed and brushed last Altar to have a look inside the den. Altar shrugged. “Good job on this boar, everyone. Anyone hurt? I know a little bout healing.” 0 players like this post! Like? |

This was all a welcome distraction in Cypress's eyes, helping him avoid Hafsa's question. He instead made his way up the path and into the cave, slinking off to the back to his nesting spot. He laid down, content to eat later once the others had their fill. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Amora decided that she needed to make sure that everyone knew who would eat first. She, personally, didn't know, so she sought the guidance of the other lions. "Hey, everyone, please listen closely. She lay on her back, her paws out-stretched. She was resting some distance from the rest of the pride, her stomach rounded with cubs. Her eyes were half closed, the sunlight and the hunt making her drowsy. She wasn't that hungry and wasn't going to take away food from the rest of the pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |
