Utu's ears pressed even closer against her neck as she took a step back. She didn't like the sound of the jaguar's suggestion and especially she didn't like the thought of becoming anyone's meal. She wasn't dinner ingredient... she probably didn't even taste that good. Utu felt her front leg touch Thorn's side slightly as she seek comfort and protection from the other predator. At least he had spared her before and maybe... just maybe he would do that again? However... what if the wolf would choose to give her to the jaguar? What would she do if that happened? Utu turned her head towards Thorn to see what the wolf chooses to do.

Thorn looked at her licking his chops his once soft nature disappearing before it truly showed it self to her gone again all that is left is a predator of a wolf . ' mateeo we have a deal . You get utu I get past.your territory I suggest getting a rabbit to go with her " thorn side his once soft padding of a footprint now showing claws that stink into her heart like a betrayal of the friendship they may or may not have had . Utu stared at Thorn her eyes big and scared. Was this really happening? She... he had just left her to the predator like that? The deer didn't understand. Thorn had never showed interest in eating her, and had even made it seem they would travel together, but now he had just left her to be eaten. The young fallow deer cast a look of utmost hurt and betrayal towards Thorn before she with slow and unsure steps started to make her way towards the jaguar knowing that it wouldn't be any use to run, he would catch her anyway.

Mateo looked at thorn somewhat shocked even he had to admit not once did he planed to actually eat her ..." You did her wrong thorn even I don't have the heart to betrayed an friend of mine " thorn rolled his eyes " just eat her already so I can pass already" his voice once filled of hope now fill of cold . Mateo narrowed his eyes before realizing thorn doesn't intend to do anything he turned around his body twice bigger then thorn . His movement is unpredictable he always cycling her like he's anayalizing her movements. Finally he land on her neck point his teeth and claws visible before making the jump

Utu's ears were pressed back and she was even more unsure what to think about when she heard the jaguar's words. Secretly hoping that Thorn would have taken back his words, she glanced towards him, but his stone cold voice was almost like a slap from a wet branch against her face. Slowly her eyes returned to the jaguar when she heard him moving. Watching him with scared eyes, Utu took a tiny step back again her instincts telling her to run fast and far. Seeing him charge, Utu gave in to her instincts trying to get away from the danger.

Mateo chased after her giving into the chase but before he even able to reach her thorn came at his side headbutting him ( that gonna leave a knot probably) before turning knew it they were fighting and dodging from each other . Both of them knowing they can't trust each other " thorn I should had known you would never let her go but understand this prey and predator will never work... remember what happened to Alice and grey wolf they died at the end " Mateo side glaring down before limping his way back to his tree " get going and don't return" he side before walking away for good. Thorn whined at the mention of Alice but held onto what ever he had for her down he slowly turned around began looking for the utu " utu , deer come out it's over " he side sniffing around for her scent .

When she saw that this truly was a chase, Utu quickly sped up as she tried to escape for her dear life. She didn't want to die and become dinner. How could Thorn have betrayed her so? The shock hindered her escaping making it harder for her to focus on what she was doing. Due to not being focused, Utu failed to see a log in front of her. It would have been easy task to just jump over it, but she stumbled on it crawling over it before she fell on the other side. Her legs had wounds from the impact, but they were nothing serious. Not being sure, if the jaguar was still after her or not, Utu made her way into the bushes before she laid down in one thicket hoping that the jaguar wouldn't be able to find her in this thicket that wasn't easy to reach.

Thorn began sniffing around the area calling her out " utu come on we are fine now " he side his voice filled of uncertainty and worried. Eventually he found the log and looked around an there's my utu " come on utu we can't play chicken for long we have to go now before he comes back " his body language is giving get up now or don't. But his position is weirdly off like he's guarding her from the brush it self

Utu listened his calls, but didn't react at first. She had her ears pressed flat and was really unsure what she should do. Part of her wanted to stay hidden since he had betrayed her trust, but part of her also wanted to go to him. She didn't understand why she was feeling that way. She shouldn't, he was a predator, she shouldn't be anywhere near him... Slowly the doe pushed herself up and with unsure steps emerged from the bush. She kept her gaze low and her ears kept flicking to show that she was really unsure. Could she trust him this time or was he going to betray her again and truly arrange her to get eaten? Or would he eat her by himself? Utu found herself becoming extremely distressed at the thought and instead glanced over the surroundings briefly before she looked up to him with her large gentle eyes that held hints of fear and uncertainty that they hadn't held before.

Thorn noticed her fur pelt " ah there you are utu ...come on we have to get going it won't be long before Mateo is back " he side already walki g but stoped noticing her uneasy language " utu what is it ...we have to go now please uneasy your self and let's go " he side not clearly thinking of what he truly side or done to her that day .thorn walked once more leaving a paw print but this time it's different somehow...it's not a dog paw she once seen now a fully claw with prints .

Utu flattened her ears again against the sides of her neck, but choose to silently follow the wolf once more. She noticed how big his paw prints were and even saw the claw marks he had left behind. Her own hooves left so small prints compared to his. She had decided not to respond to Thorn, after all, it seemed that he didn't even remember what had happened with the jaguar and that made Utu even more discouraged. She should leave him, she was nothing more than a toy for him, but for some reason she just couldn't do that. She just couldn't run and escape, it was almost like some kind of magnetic force was keeping her close to him and forced her to follow wherever he chose to go.

Thorn quickly lead the way around the forest passing metteo pathway territory. Even himself has to admit he felt weird but didn't want to say anything to utu...after all he did tried to give her eaten again. After an hour of padding together they finally reached the broader of the territory. " Utu what you think" he asked already knowing what she might say it's prefect for a wolf but a deer.... probably not .

Utu followed him quietly ignoring the strange looks other animals were giving to them. They travelled for a long time, but that didn't bother her as she had gotten used to it. However, when they reached a spot that that Thorn thought suitable, she took a moment to look around. It was very close to the jaguar's territory and there wasn't any thickets for her to hide.

"It... it looks nice," she said softly feeling and hearing the predators moving not too far away from them.

" utu this is your home as well so be honest we can move away and find a better place for you. All I need is a den really, good food source,and water ...I'm low maintenance honestly but if this isn't your home then so be it let's look more " thorn side no really understanding her tone or her body changes ( dumb wolf ) . Eventually he looked around more moving some tree limbs and some moss trying to make.her comfortable enough of a home she wants or needs.

"It... there isn't many places for me to hide and I can hear the predators close..." Utu whispered taking a tiny step further into the territory. Perhaps he had chosen such a place to make it even more easier for the predators find her? Perhaps he liked the thought that he could share his meal with others... Utu sniffed the little grass she saw, but it didn't smell like home. All she could smell was death and betrayal. It almost seemed like her excited spirit and enthusiasm had completely left her. She didn't dare to say that she didn't like the place, besides what did it matter? She would get eaten before midnight anyway, whether it was by jaguar or by wolf or by something else.
