An hour had already passed before Utu lifted her head up moving her ears to listening the surroundings. She could hear nothing suggesting that Thorn was returning and that worried her. Was he alright? Though... she really didn't know, how long it would take to mark one's territory. Perhaps he just had a lot to mark? Starting to get really restless, Utu pushed herself up pacing around the den a little forcing her ears to listen.

Thorn made his way up on the den realizing she was restless " utu do you want to do something today?" He asked somewhat restless himself. He sit down but what he thought was a goofball was in fact an little bunny ran right into his leg almost causing him to fall onto his snout " momma wait " the rabbit side before hiding behind his leg scared of utu. Thorn looked down at him before moving his paw pushing the bunny forward.

Utu's little tail flickered quickly for a moment when she saw that Thorn was back. However, she soon regained the control of herself focusing on the words he had said. "What could we do?" she asked before turning her attention to the rabbit that had suddenly appeared into their den. She tilted her head when the rabbit seemed scared of her, but fairly comfortable with a predator. Shouldn't it be the other way around? "How come the little one is so fond of you?" Utu asked softly looking at Thorn.

Thorn looked surprised at the new incomers " it kept calling me mother ...it looks two young to be alone at this age surly it's mother rabbit is still alive....I was.marking and hunting didn't really realize this thing was following me home ." Thorn side somewhat amused and confused as him being "mother wolf" to a baby rabbit. " Well I suppose we can look around" thorn side not happy with the outcome but hey it's something. " Rabbit utu is a nice deer towards me so stay by her if anything happens" thorn side before going out the den . The rabbit turns towards utu " I'm doing this because momma told me to but I don't like you ....for now " he side before going out himself padding? To thorn side like a pup would .

Utu pinned her ears and took a tiny step back almost hesitant to follow them. She couldn't understand what she had done to the rabbit, she had never even seen them before. The deer waited for a moment for them to get some distance before she slowly walked out of the den to follow Thorn and this rabbit who seemed to hate her for some reason. Had she accidentally eaten a red clover that he had wanted to eat? While following Thorn and keeping an eye out for the surroundings, she still kept a bit of distance not daring to get too close in case she would offend the little rabbit.

Thorn looked back at utu " utu come on " thorn side before once more walking into the forest they called home. The rabbit seemed to be trying his best to walk with thorn but even he can't be able to walk like he can ...maybe one of these days he will. He refuses to walk along side utu but quickly realized he was near her after all . ' listen doe I don't like you ...mother doesn't like you so leave him alone. It was supposed to be the two of us and now it's not " he side even if he was young he knows how to speak clearly. It was clear he didn't like utu at all.

Should she tell thorn or try to speak to rabbit himself? Only she can decide

Utu picked up her speed a little coming to Thorn's side, but the hostility she got from the rabbit caught her off guard. Thorn didn't like her? So he really didn't like her after all and just saw her as a meal that he dragged along. The doe's ears remained pinned against her neck and she didn't carry her head as high as she usually did.

"I'm sorry..." Utu whispered quietly. She had thought that since her herd didn't care about her, perhaps Thorn would be different, but now the little rabbit was making it very clear that she wasn't welcomed here. Utu didn't know that Thorn hadn't spoken about those things to the rabbit. She assumed that they knew each other already since the rabbit was so keenly following him. Trying her best not to let her thoughts to affect her speed, she kept on walking, but the exploring didn't sound as fun anymore as it had sounded at first.

Thorn noticed her expression " utu what is it ? " Thorn asked somewhat not happy with the rabbit comment. ( She was here first ) He thought but didn't know what to say. Thorn walked in front before asking the rabbit hole he knows of . Sadly no one claimed him but they did found out he was a shorthair of a rabbit most likely his mother died thorn thought. " Stay here utu your with me " thorn side walking away from them .

Utu followed Thorn observing silently the wolf's interactions with the rabbits. However, when a call was made specifically for her to follow, she quickly trotted to Thorn almost like wanting to get away from the rabbit who was being mean to her. She wanted to ask Thorn if what the rabbit was saying truly was true and that she wasn't welcomed and that he didn't like her, but she didn't dare to ask it. She was afraid of the answer. What if it really was like the rabbit had said? What would she do then, if that would be the case?

Thorn walked away far from the rabbit " utu what's is it your acting weird since he had showed up into our den " he side looking concerns (" surly she doesn't think it's true ?") he thought before waiting for her answer he had to admit himself he didn't see himself being in a group of two prey ...what has his life came to ?

Dakota [ the rabbit] looked at them wanting to go near thorn " mother .... don't trust her ....what about me ?" He thought before he walked /paddle? Away lowering himself into the grass away from them ....should I leave him or join them ...or kick her out ? He thought clearly unknown of his true feelings towards her . " Why do I hate her so much "

"That little rabbit... he hates me," Utu said softly. "Is it true that you really don't like me and don't want me near you?" she asked looking up to him. Her eyes were full of pain and sorrow of being abandoned in past and now it seemed it was happening again. She didn't want to leave Thorn, he had been the only one who had showed her kindness for a long time and had even seemed to be happy with her being near him.

"utu you should know me by now I just met that rabbit yesterday I have known you longer and I'm not planning to trade either ...we been through a lot ...I don't want to move den after all we been through" it was clear he was trying but doesn't know what to say exactly.

Utu nodded silently. She took few steps closer pressing herself slightly against Thorn as they walked. It was a simple gesture, but it showed how much his words had meant for her. She gently nibbled his ears just to have a little bit of fun, she had used to do that a lot with the other fawns when she had been little. Those had been really happy times and they had created many lasting memories.

"I don't wish to be alone again either," she finally whispered. Her words were so faint and quiet that it was a miracle that the breeze hadn't carried them all away.

Thorn let her nudge against his fur side not really caring enough if she gets tingle in it or anything for that matter. (" This actually feels nice") He thought while the rabbit rode.on the back of the wolf finally realizing he would never catch up to them otherwise .

" You wouldn't be alone either " he side his words filled of seriesness but she knew what they truly meant

Utu nodded as she kept walking beside him, however, she kept glancing around for the rabbit every time her pelt happened to brush against Thorn’s. She was afraid that the rabbit would be mean to her again. She didn’t understand how she had offended the smaller creature, but she surely must have done something very bad. As they walked, Utu’s ears suddenly perked forward for a second before they were pressed against her skull again. Sniffing the air confirmed her fears and made Utu’s body tense up immediately. She had sensed a predator, something bigger than Thorn and no, this time it didn’t seem friendly at all, at least based on the scent in the air.
