Nyezemnoy tilted her head as Xyuvar blushed. "Why are you blushing?" She asked. She hadn't meant it in a cruel or sarcastic way... she merely wanted to know if he was to be sleeping in her chambers again. As she thought, she realised that her words could be interpreted in other ways. Oh. Nyezemnoy imagined what it would be like to sleep next to Xyuvar, and her own cheeks turned a violent shade of indigo...

"Milady... Nyezemnoy... I know this may seem... a little forward... but... do you think... you could teach me... how to romance??" Xyuvar asked.

"I..." Nyezemnoy trailed off, unsure of where to go with this. "Well, first of all, you need to stop with all this 'milady' stuff," she began. "I know it's difficult, given your history with abusive masters, but I am not your master. I am your friend, and you are not a slave."

She smiled slightly and patted the bed next to her. "Come. Sit, if you want."

As Nyezemnoy spoke, Xyuvar tilted his head, before blinking in shock as she declared that he wasn't her slave, but a friend, while knowing that it was difficult for him to transition out of calling her milady because of his history of being a slave, before gesturing for him to sit down on the bed beside her. Xyuvar gingerly sat down on the bed, the still scrawny dragon looking so small and thin compared to the corpulent sorceress.

"Thank you for letting me sit down... m... Nyezemnoy..." Xyuvar began, trying to stop himself from being so formal.

Nyezemnoy struggled to hold in a sigh at his formality. She had known him for... how many days, now? Two? Three? She couldn't expect him to just snap out of hundreds of years of formality in an instant. "I also want to let you know that I have no idea how 'to romance', as you put it. I'm... not the most experienced in that department, but from what I've seen there's no right or wrong way to do it, as long as we're both happy," she said with a small smile.

(also how tall is Xyuvar? is he tall or short for a dragon? I'm thinking that Nyezemnoy should be slightly taller than average for a dragon, but how tall is the average dragon?)

(Ah... yeah, that's what I was thinking too, I just wasn't sure. So like, your average fully grown male dragon is 30m long with a wingspan of 40m, and the average female is a maybe a meter or two smaller than that? Or are we going in a more shark-like direction, where the females are larger than the males?)

Nyezemnoy blinked. "Um... not that I know of?" But now that she thought of it, she *had* always been a bit of a matchmaker, a dragoness with Cupid's bow. What if Xyuvar was right, and she really was a goddess?

Nyezemnoy smiled at Xyuvar. "Well, I'm not really sure how this works, but we should probably get to know each other first. I mean... what's your favourite colour?" She felt very awkward at this, because she wasn't the best at small talk, but she was determined to push through the awkwardness.
