Alexithymia's Den

You’ve had to have nearly lost your footing on the uneven stony hills of this cursed territory at least thrice the amount of times you have seasons as you pass through; A dense, blinding fog clings heavily to your fur, slicking up your paws with every step on the lose, perilous ground. How tf do other lions even live here? Your nose tells you they must somehow though, and the telltale circle of vultures tells you there is game to be found at least—if a lion didn’t mind playing with their life with every step of territory. As you finally hobble painfully down the last steep mound of stone and earth, you look back to congratulate yourself on not having to explain to the ancestors how you got taken out by rocks; an ominous pair of eyes so green you don’t even notice a pupil gaze mischievously back as the dark figure of a lioness languidly settles down to see you out of her territory. Was…was she there the whole time? There’s no way she was there the whole time, youd’ve heard her.
