'Crush?' Mumblepaw thought in his head as Snowecho talked about spending a bit more time with Spottedpaw. "That's absolutely ridiculous! Why I-" He'd huff before hearing yowls for help. He'd watch Snowecho rush off somewhere. Mumblepaw would try his best keep up with the tom, only to pause at the sight when he finally arrived. Harepaw was in an absolute panic, and then there was Swiftstrike, who was burned to a crisp and murmuring for help. Mumblepaw would back up in fear trying not to trip over his own paws, he had never seen something like this before.

Snowecho sniffed at Swiftstrike, careful of touching him for a bit now. "Fetch another warrior, we need to get him back to camp immediately. Make someone make a nest for him in the medicine cat den." He instructed, standing guard over the injured warrior. He would need some thyme, chamomile, and perhaps some poppy seeds. He would see what else they had for shock, maybe juniper berries. They did have some growing right by the camp entrance, that was lucky.

Swiftstrike could tell cats above him were talking. He could not hear what they had to say. He sees Stripepaw approach. He tries to speak again. "i-i-i." He tries. He gets frustrated that he can not say anything. He couldn't show his frustration eather, he didn't want to scare them that he was worse, and he couldn't really do anything anyway. Stripepaw walked back into the medicine den. He limped making sure not to put any weight on his arm. He grabbed some moss and dragged it to a spot. He also grabbed some feather to make it more comfortable. He limped out of the medicine den. "He has a nest he can rest in." Stripepaw meowed looking worried. He hadn't seen any cat get hit by lightning before. He had heard about it but it was very rare.

She hoped Snowecho wasn't telling her to go get another warrior and to have a nest made. She wanted to stay by her mentor's side tell her was back to camp, and even then she probably wouldn't leave his side. She wanted to comfort Swiftstrike, and let him know he wasn't alone and that they were doing everything they could to help him. She nuzzled the tom's head again, careful not to get in Snowecho's way.

Mumblepaw would give a quick nod before rushing his way back to Camp. He'd look around, looking for somebody to help. "H-Horsetail? I need to see Horsetail, Swiftstrike is gravely injured and needs to be carried back to Camp immediately!" He'd shout as he finally arrived, hopefully somebody would hear his cries and would come help. He'd look over at the Medicine Cat Den, maybe Horsetail was inside? He'd pad inside.

Snowpaw smiles. "Thanks. Also did you hear someone crying for help?" She asks looking where she heard the sounds. She looks back at Hawkpaw. "I think I heard someone crying for help." she says. She looks back at Featherheart and Shrewflight "did either of you two hear that?" She says shaking the rain from her pelt. That did not help, she was drenched in the next second.

Hawkpaw perked his ears wondering if he could hear any prey. He looked around trying to taste the air again. He stalked off following a scent. He saw a Pheasant strutting around. It seemed to be busy searching for something in a pile of leaves. Hawkpaw knew he couldn't hunt it all by himself. "Snowpaw, I need your help." He meowed, the pheasant would feed many cats.

He blinks water from his eyes.

Stormberry flicked his tail when Horsetail mentioned that Icepaw had almost given someone catmint when they didn't need it, thinking that every cat had made mistakes when they were apprentices, but some were definitely more serious than others. "I guess that's true, hopefully he'll just be more careful in the future." He mewed, but flattened his ears when there was mention of telling Snowecho that he was mates with Sunstar. "Uh...he kind of knows, but kind of doesn't. I don't think he'd want to talk about it though." He explained awkwardly, before perking up at the sound of a commotion near the camp. It sounded like some cat was gravely injured, and the deputy quickly got to his paws, eager to find out for himself what had happened, and see if there was any way that he could help. He noticed Mumblepaw who seemed to be the one who had been sent to get help, and he quickly made his way over to the apprentice. "Mumblepaw! What happened?" He asked, looking towards the camp entrance.
