Smowpaw follows Hawkpaw. She takes cover in the hole under the tree. "Yeah it's defiantly dryer down here." She remarks. She shakes off then starts grooming herself getting the small bits of water in-between her fur. She lays down. "The soil is warmer too." She says. "Good idea." She hopes Hawkpaw could hear her. It was a bit quieter under the tree but still loud.

Snowecho was relieved to see Mumblepaw run back to camp to get help for help, keeping himself close to Swiftstrike and Harepaw to make sure nothing bad happened. He was not surprised to see Stormberry burst through the bushes, and immediately got ready to get the injured warrior up onto Stormberry's back. "He's still alive, he'll recover, but it might take him a while." He informed, grabbing the scruff of Swiftstrike's neck and starting to lift him. He still raked his mind for herbs to use for Swiftstrike, maybe treating the shock of being hit would be more effective than anything.

Softpaw only needed the nudge. Sunstar's words of advice were almost lost as he shot through the forest, heading back towards camp. He slid a couple of times and crashed into a tree here and there, but he made it back in one piece. Once in camp, he did not hesitate to run into the Apprentice den and burry himself in his nest. He heard thunder rumble through the air again and buried himself further into his nest. He started trembling and breathing quickly again. He wished Alderpaw was there.

Swiftstrike groand again. The pain returns. He did not know why it stoped for a bit, maybe his nerves were dying, he knew now the pain felt worse with the water hitting it. He feels Snowecho lifting him by his stuff. He was pretty sure Snowecho said something first but the rain and ringing in his ears didn't allow him to hear it. He tries to regain strength with non luck.

Stormberry flattened his ears as he looked at Swiftstrike, and heard the warrior try and say his name, even if it was very faint. He couldn't even believe Swiftstrike was alive, so it was all the more important to get him to camp and to the medicine cat den as quickly as possible. He looked worriedly at Snowecho as he explained the situation, not having total faith that such a devastating injury was even possible to recover from - but hey, he was no medicine cat, so he honestly couldn't tell. He settled down low next to Swiftstrike and let Snowecho put him into his back, and once he was sure that he was secure enough, he stood back up and began to take a few careful steps. "I-I'll get him back to camp as best I can, Horsetail said he would prepare a nest and everything for him." He mewed, before heading back through the camp entrance as carefully as he could with the warrior on his back.

Swiftstrike was aware he was being carried. He wanted to walk so badly. He ate feeling so useless, being so useless. Swiftstrike gave up trying to talk and let his mouth hang open, even closing it took what seemed like to much work. He only used the energy to close it when it was being flooded with rain water. He sees the camp entice. He hated to be seen this way.

The river ripples, fish dart left and right to get away from a thirsty mouth.
Earthquake had left camp, his fur still ruffled from waking up mere moments ago. Having taken a much needed drink, he stood back looking at his reflection, shadows beneath the watery surface teasing him. He struck out with both paws only to get swallowed by the rushing water. He panicked, jumping out "I don't like fish anyways..." he grumbled, wet fur clinging to his sides.

Hawkpaw crawled in after Snowpaw. He shook his pelt getting the water off. "Yeah, it is quieter." He saw a bolt of lightning crash down not that far from them followed immediately by thunder. He closed his eyes from fear. He just wanted this too be over. "I'm scared." He meowed opening his eyes. He looked to Snowpaw. His eyes were full of fear and he shivered from the cold. He hated this.

The young she cat stayed right by her mentor, when he was lifted on the warriors back she was right there with him. She constantly sniffed and fussed over him one the walk to camp. She hated to see him like this and knew he hated it too.

"Me too. I hate thunder. I hate rain. I hate lightning. So all that adds up to me hating dumb storms." She says. "I'm scared too. I wish we were back at camp." She admits. She finishes up grooming herself. She shivers, not sure if it is from the cold or for the fact that she was freaking out inside. She hoped everyone was okay. "I'm also freaked out that I think I heard a cry for help." She mutters.

Icepaw wakes p and stretches her stiff limbs. She yawns very loudly. There was a lot of commotion outside for some reason. Surly she didn't miss anything did she? She quickly looks at Swiftpaw.She walks out of the medicine cat den and her fur almost immediately is drenched. Where was Snowpaw it would be nice to know if something bad happened. " Snowpaw are you here?'' She says peeking her head through the apprentices den. If her sister wasn't here she wouldn't where she was.

A light pattering can be heard against fallen leaves, and a clap thunder roars.
Whiskers dripping with rain water, Earthquake makes a hasty retreat into the warrior's den, just in time as another flash of lightning races across the sky. He shakes, water scattering everywhere, someone flinches and protests in particular.

Horsetail looked up from his work, as Stripepaw called out to him. "The Dandelion is to help with the pain, don't worry it won't make you sleepy, and the Thyme is to help calm you down. I'm sorry that we can't give you a checkup right now, but...", Horsetail took a deep breath, "But a cat was struck by lightning", the dark sand colored tom ended. Turning back to the nest, Horsetail put the last pieces of moss in place.
Looking up as he heard some paw steps approaching the den, Horsetail looked up again. He spotted Mumblepaw coming in, Horsetail nodded his head. It was understandable that the young cat needed something to calm him down. Waving his tail, Horsetail called the apprentice closer. Once Mumblepaw had approached, the sand colored tom pushed some of the Thyme leaves towards him, "Here, these should help

Drenched by the rain and covered in mud the young she cat kept pace with the warrior. Her attention 100% on Swiftstrike. She watched his mouth and he faintly tried to say her name. "It's okay. I'm right here." She reassured touching her nose to his chin gingerly. "You need to save your strength. I'll be by your side through this." She continued to reassure with another touch of her nose.
