Earthquake turns to his niece, and hums deep in thought "To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if we're the only living things out here." He took in the sparse forest at the edge of their clearing, everything covered in a sparkling white. "It's so quiet, even the trees look dead..."
It made Earthquake feel uneasy, little life meant little prey, there would certainly be a struggle to come. He sighed "I'm so tired." it felt as if he weighed a ton, that or he had actually gained a few extra pounds.
He couldn't give in though, he had to be strong for his clan and what little family he had left, this was new territory, which meant more potential threats.
"All the more to stay on my toes."
No matter how foreboding and barren it was out there...
