He flattened his ears and walked to a nearby tree. Sitting down he thought for a moment. What is he didn't mess it up? Hawkpaw shook his head. Of Course he would mess it up.

Looking at Mumblepaw she says a greeting. She turns her attention back to Snowpaw who is still asking questions. All of a sudden remembering Basilleaf. " Basilleaf chased the rogue off our territory " Icepaw has started to feel scared Basilleaf has been gone for a while. She feels relieved when Snowecho comes through the camp entrance.

Hawkpaw meowed cheerfully. He sat down in front of them smiling nervously. Hopefully he didn't mess things up.

Vixenpaw - 10 moons - 7/18 health - approaching camp - mentor-less apprentice - OPEN -

Vixenpaw wailed for help, struggling and slipping in her own pool of blood. She kept wailing, and Vixenpaw walked ten steps, close to camp, before falling. She stood up, walked more steps, then fell again. Stopping her yowling wails, she kept up this routine, before approaching the bramble barrier. She limped her way through, and Vixenpaw moaned, collapsing just inside camp, near the medicine cat den, and huffed. Her leg was bleeding, but she still had feeling in it, which was good.

Stormberry nodded as he listened to the information given to him by the other cats, and got to work helping to clear the path to allow them to bring Vixenpaw into camp without hurting her more, if that was possible. He flattened his ears when he heard the cry from Vixenpaw, but it made him all the more determined to keep the path clear and let them into the camp. They were so close to the entrance, and he thought that surely the other cats in the camp would hear the commotion and come to help. Good thing we have more than one medicine cat, he thought, the poor apprentice was going to need all the attention and care she could get from the sounds of it.

Icepaw almost jumps at the sound of Mumblepaws deep mew. "Yes a rogue has attaked Vixenpaw and she is badly injured." Icepaw tries to sound calm "Basilleaf chased him off our territory but she hasn't come back yet. The rogue was in bad condition he was bleeding from his eye and he mentioned Brokenstar." Icepaw feels herself shudder yet again.

Hawkpaw sat back down. "Oh, well is she going to be okay?" Hawkpaw asked looking to the two apprentices. This was all very confusing to him but he didn't want to panic. That would be even worse. "Should we do anything to help?" He asked looking back to the Medicine den. Why did life have to be so confusing.

Vixenpaw's eyes glazed over. Her violent twitching, and her struggles to move stopped, and she collapsed onto her side, the enormous gash facing the sky. Vixenpaw went into shock. Vixenpaw began to give thanks to Starclan for her 10 moons of life, any friends she had, and most of all the prey and her parents. Vixenpaw's eyes stared listlessly up at the sky, as she listed her thanks in a quiet murmur in her thoughts, in the back of her brain.
