Icepaw looks worriedly at Snowecho and Iceclaw. As far as she could see the way was clear. She ran a little bit ahead to see what lay ahead. She did not want Vixenpaw to hit her head on ANYTHING. She was so distracted she hit a branch. I should go back a tell Snowecho about this branch she thought. Icepaw runs all the way back till she sees Snowecho. "Snowecho there is a branch up ahead!"

Sunstar - 24 Moons - Co-Leader - 40/40 HP - Camp Mentions: Open, Willowstar

Sunstar opened his eyes, blinking away the blurriness from his sleep. He got up, grunting as his head glazed the ceiling of the leader's den. He turned his head to see Willowstar still asleep, and he prodded her with his paw.
"Willowstar. Come on, time to wake up. We have a clan to attend to."
He stretched, feeling the satisfying pop in his bones, poking Willowstar again.
"I think we should call a meeting today. Get everyone up tonspeed with the tick and flea problem, and see if one of the med cats has a solution. It'll take a while though, since they're everywhere. The elders keep complaining about it."
He poked his head outbof the den, seeing a few cats lounging around outside. The sun was shining and the leaves were a deep green. He used to love how lush it was before he lost his first mate. He just hoped she has looking down from Starclan, somewhat happy with the decisions he makes and made.
After grooming his pelt, he readied himself to step outside and conquer the day.

Snowecho perked his ears up at the warning from Icepaw, getting ready to avoid the branch. He soon spotted Stormberry and let out a soft 'prrt'. "Stormberry! Does Horsetail know we're coming?" He asked, assuming that the deputy had come straight from camp. With luck, his assumption was right and they could have Stormberry move away obstacles. Without luck, he could get him to run back to warn Horsetail and they would have to avoid obstacles. Either way, it would have a positive outcome.

Stormberry took a few moments to take in the situation and think what he could do to help, before being alerted by Snowecho's voice. "Horsetail knows Vixenpaw's injured, he's preparing for her to get back to camp. Snowpaw's helping to make her a nest." He explained, flicking his ears as he took in the apprentice's condition. "Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked, hoping that he wouldn't look foolish or get in the way. He backed away a bit so that he wasn't in their direct path, and decided it would be best to get some context on why Vixenpaw was injured in the first place. "How did she get injured?"

Icepaw looks up from looking at the ground. She notices the Clan deputy Stormberry meowing a greeting Icepaw goes ahead to check for more branches. Instead she finds the camp entrance. She runs back to Snowecho jumping excitedly. "Snowecho the Camp entrance is up ahead!"

Horsetail nodded his head, "Yes, Vixenpaw was injured", the med cat replied. Looking back at the med cat den, the tom let out a sigh. "I don't know how injured she is, so I want you to get some herbs, alright?", Horsetail said. Wanting to teach the young apprentice and test his knowledge, the older tom thought, "I want you to bring out some cobwebs, something to stop bleeding, and..... a painkiller", Horsetail directed. His dark eyes went to the entrance of the camp, when are they coming? how bad is she going to be injured?
The tom shook his head to get these thoughts out of his mind, it would do no good to worry like that. Turning on his heals the dark sand colored tom hardened his blue green eyes and entered the med cat den. He needed to get to work.

"I'm not completely sure, it seems a rogue attacked Vixenpaw but got chased away, but Vixenpaw got clawed by the rogue on the leg. It was deep and the wound is very serious. Vixenpaw is unconscious right now. We need to get help right now" Iceclaw explained to Stormberry.

Vixenpaw - 7 Moons - 5/18 Health - Clan Territory- No Mentor!! - Apprentice

Vixenpaw was ready to be carried, as she locked her muscles and stiffened her injured leg. Vixenpaw closed her eyes only slightly, watching all of the scene unfold. Her leg had scabbed over, again, and hopefully for the rest of the day (or night). She let out a sturdy growl, letting them know she was fine, and ready.

Icepaw who is walking ahead of the others can now see the camp entrance. Hurrying into the wall of brambles that guard the camp she races to the medicine cat den. She sees Snowpaw,Horsetail,and Newtpaw all busy at work. "Horsetail!" Icepaw says rather loudly " Snowecho is coming he Will be here very soon. Do you need help with anything ? "

Snowecho was silent as Iceclaw replied to Stormberry. "If you could move branches and bushes out of our way that would be great." He mewed softly, perking up a bit as the camp entrance came into view, only obscured by a few bushes. He let out a relieved sigh, but did not speed up. Speeding up meant more movement, and it would be easier to drop Vixenpaw by accident. He flicked an ear as he heard noises from the injured apprentice, glad she seemed conscious. "Almost at camp now." He told her reassuringly.

Snowpaw's heart lifts knowing everyone will be back soon. She wants to ask how Vixenpaw is but does not want to interrupt. Icepaw seems very urgent, Snowpaw thinks, does that mean Vixenpaw is really hurt? Is that why it took them so long to get back? Snowpaw hopes for the best. Soon, Snowpaw thinks, I will know what happened. This calms her, knowing she will have answers soon.
