Vixenpaw wailed as a bramble yanked off the bandage. Blood poured from her wound once more, only half the scab ripped off. She wailed again, quieter, and then she mewled once, head lolling back. She twitched once, twice, then went unconscious, fainting from the blood, and the fact she was tired. Vixenpaw was limp as she was carried to camp dripping blood as she went.

Mumblepaw's long, fluffy tail twitched as he opened his eyes. He had just awakened from his nap. He'd stand and stretched his long body shaking off the remaining sleepy feeling. His mouth felt quite dry as he flicked his tongue, it wasn't the greatest feeling in the world but he could manage. He was quite unsure of what to do now that he was awake as he looked around camp. Maybe he should just eat something and go back to sleep, it seemed like the best option currently.

Icepaw turned around as Newtpaw told her that he was getting herbs after he was done speaking he looked down at his paws. Immediately Icepaw felt sympathy for him. "Its ok I forgot marigold and Snowecho had to remind me and asked me if I wanted Vixenpaw to get an infection." Icepaw tried to sound cheerful

The long furred female was curled up in her nest fast asleep when she felt a paw prod her side. She twitched her ear, and cracked open her eyes, torn between dozing back off or getting up like her fellow leader suggested. Not moving, she received another prod from the tom, causing her to wake up a bit more, and listened to Sunstar's words. Willowstar knew that it was important to let her fellow clanmates know about what was going on, so with a bit of regret, she finally pushed herself up and stretched out.

"I agree. The sooner we get this handled and under control, the easier it will be for everyone." She yawned.

Her amber eyes gave a quick once over of her pelt as she picked a couple small pieces of moss out of her long fur, smoothing it out once she was sure it was clear of any other debris. She could hear the voices of her clanmates outside of the den as they were going about their day, causing her to push back her thoughts of settling back down in her nest, and she padded outside of the den, taking in the sight and smells of the cats around her.

The med cat nodded his head, as the apprentice came back out with the cobweb and poppy seed. Vixenpaw was just an apprentice, so one poppy seed should be enough to ease any pain she might have. Looking over his shoulder the healer looked at Icepaw, "Tell Snowecho that we're in the herb store, if he needs help", Horsetail directed. He hoped Vixenpaw was not too badly hurt, but with this, with pressure he hoped that Newtpaw might learn a bit faster.
Turning back to Newtpaw, the older tom gave a smile. "Come with me", he said, stepping past the apprentice and into the herb store. Indicating with his tail Horsetail said, "I want you to sit there and wait."

Snowpaw's ears prick up. She could swear she heard a wail. She gets nervous. What if that was Vixenpaw? How bad was she hurt? Or what if what ever hurt Vixenpaw was hurting more cats. Snowpaw tries to clear her thoughts. Vienpaw will be here soon, she tells herself, everything will make sense soon. She keeps repeating this to herself. Why didn't anything makes sense now? She couldn't shake the thought she heard a cry. "Did you hear that?" Snowpaw finally asked. She turned to Icepaw and Newtpaw.

Icepaw hears a wailing outside of camp she is suddenly aware that Snowpaw is talking to her. "Yes I heard that. I think it's Vixenpaw what happened you don't think she hit her head on a branch did she?" Icepaw says fearfully. Icepaw turns around till she is facing Snowpaw she look worried "Its okay I probably made it sound more bad than it actually is."

"How bad is she injured?" Snowpaw says not able to wait anymore. She sits down, worried. She said that sounded like Vixenpaw. She said not to worry but... Snowpaw can't NOT worry for hurt cats. Snowpaw feels like she can't sit still waiting for the return of Vixenpaw. "Do you know what hurt her?" Snowpaw adds on. She stands up, unable to sit still any longer.

Vixenpaw woke up with a jolt, and looked down. She cringed at the blood dripping around her. The bramble thorn her scab got caught on was soaked with blood, and a transluscent layer of skin coloured red hung from it, menacing, gross, and bloodied. Vixenpaw twitched her leg and swung her head around, hissing, and she grit her teeth, and lashed her tail, her flank twitching.

He looked around the camp wondering if anyone had saw him trip. He felt his belly rumble for food. It had been a while since he had eaten. Hawkpaw grabbed a small mouse and ate it quickly. Snowecho let out a dismayed whine when he heard Vixenpaw's wail, and they had been so careful! How had they missed a bramble? No time to worry, Snowecho sped up just a tiny bit, hoping that Iceclaw caught on and sped up as well. He scanned the camp entrance quickly, but knew that there would be no easy way of getting Vixenpaw in without re-opening the wound further. "I really hope they've readied the herbs, we're going to need them." He murmured quietly, mostly to himself.

Icepaw looks at Snowpaw trying to answer all her questions. She has a really big wound on her leg we have been trying to get it to stop bleeding we finally did but it scabs over and the scab falls off and she bleeds more. Icepaw takes a deep breath before continuing " A rogue on our territory hurt her I don't know his name but he was bleeding from his eye. " Icepaw shudders at the memory.

Hawkpaw shook the dirt and dust off his pelt. He saw Snowecho race past him. The tom looked like he was in a hurry. Hawkpaw stood back up and looked around. "What should I do to help out? I slept for like a moon." He groaned looking up to the sky. The sun was high in the sky. "How could you sleep that long." He murmured looking to his paws. He sighed and walked to a nearby river. He reached out his paw waiting for a fish to come.

Hawkpaw saw a medium sized fish swim by. He reached his paw forward and smacked the fish out of the water. It landed on the ground flopping around. Hawkpaw swiftly killed it and placed it down. The fish didn't move but just stared off to space. Hawkpaw sighed, "Well, it's good enough." He meowed picking it up with his mouth. He walked back to the Fresh-Kill pile and placed it in. The pile was doing well.
