I wonder how Spottedpaw's dealing with the high ranks being gone.. He wondered to himself. He didn't think she'd be calm about it, but he hoped she was taking it better than he was. Mumblepaw then turned his attention back to Spottedpaw as she said something to him, slowly limping her way over to him. The young tom's face broke out into a smug grin as she claimed that she wouldn't fall. "Maybe you shouldn't be so sure..." He chuckled. Be ready incase she does happen to fall. The apprentice reminded himself with a nod. Mumblepaw's ears perked as he heard a familiar voice call out. That sounds like Pebblesplash... He huffed, what was going on? As he turned back to Spottedpaw he would listen to her suggestion about going to the temporary camp, but she seemed worried about it. What's got her so worried? He thought. Mumblepaw then heard another call with a familiar voice, one with familiar words, now he understood what was going on. There's a clan meeting, that makes sense. It sounded like Lioncloud too. He mumbled to himself. "Mmm- I think a clan meeting is about to happen. Come on, we don't want to miss anything important. Maybe you should stick close to me just incase... or, would you rather see who can get there faster by speed-walking? Since you're injured I can give you a head start, or maybe walk slower to match your pace..." He teased playfully. "...And cheer up, it's better to smile..." Spottedpaw-7 moons-apprentice-14/18- River Spottedpaw looked at him. "Well its just that if Hollowfall is unconcious then who is going to train me? Will he be able to catch me up in my training?" She shook herself she shouldn't be thinking of that right now. She feels him nudge her. She gasps as she almost losses her then quickly gains her footing back giggling. "You saw nothing" She smiles Icepaw-7 moons-med apprentice-18/18-Temporary Camp Icepaw looks at Hawkpaw. "Ok. Do you want some herbs for your sore mucles? I was hoping you would know what was happening." That was the least she could do for him. "Oh hi Lynxpaw. No everything is fine. I'm just a little worried about Snowecho and Horsetail."She smiles a weak smile. She looks back at Hawkpaw. "I can understand why you would be thinking that way, and it's totally alright to, you do need to be trained after all." He mewed softly. "A few of the other apprentices had high ranks as their mentors as well, so they're in the same situation as you. I'm sure that'll be discussed during the meeting, and if it isn't discussed you can ask Lioncloud, I believe he's the one controlling this meeting." He suggested. Mumblepaw's eyes widened in shock at Spottedpaw's sudden wobble, only for her to gain balance. "Stop scaring me..." He let out a sigh of relief. "I'm totally not leaving your side after that." He huffed before standing right next to she. "I'll be beside you, so when you fall you'll lean onto me instead of falling to the ground, more injuries will only do more trouble." He closed his eyes with a simple huff. He then opened an eye to look at Spottedpaw, giving a small smile. "Let's get going, we have a meeting to attend." He mewed. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rainpaw - 11 Moons - Apprentice - 18/18 Health - Temporary Camp - Mentions: Softpaw, Stripepaw, Lioncloud (ID) Rainpaw looked at Softpaw, "You look like a star-struck mouse." She chuckled, purring. She was happy the mood had lightened around this place, thoughts of current events pushed to the back of their minds during the gathering. Her relaxed state started to get jittery as she waited for the meeting to start, tapping her tail tip on the ground in excitement. "Whatever it is, it sounds like it's gonna be good!" She turned to look at Stripepaw, then followed his gaze up to Lioncloud, she didn't need to be caught staring again. She concluded with a small smirk. Clearsong - 15 Moons - Warrior - 30/30 Health - Temporary Camp - Mentions: Pebblesplash Clearsong scooted back a bit as Pebblesplash skidded to a halt beside him, he bumped his head against hers in greeting and sat back down again. "I can feel the energy radiating from you." He laughed, though he felt the same way as she did, even if he didn't show it as well. He looked over at the group of apprentices, noticing a few missing, but mostly all there. They were an interesting bunch, but no doubt will be great warriors. Clearsong lowered his voice, "How do you think they'll react? I don't think they have any clue!" After a moment, she muttered quietly "I'm still worried too." and looked down, apparently concentrating on sorting the herbs she had brought back. With the task finished, she then turned her attention to Hawkpaw, along with the imminent Clan meeting she had head Lioncloud call for a moment ago. "What happened to you, Hawkpaw? Let me see if we have anything to help you quickly, before the meeting starts". Lynxpaw wasn't sure if she was making the right choice to be possibly late to the meeting, but as a medicine cat- even if she was just an apprentice -she felt her patients came first. 0 players like this post! Pebblesplash- 15 moons- warrior - 30/30- river- mentions: Clearsong, Dapplepaw (ID), apprentices (ID) —- Pebblesplash laughed at Clearsong’s comment about the energy. “I think the only apprentice to see this coming would maybe be Dapplepaw,” she theorized, “she had been asking about it.” Pebblesplash couldn’t stop her tail from rocking back and forth, her anticipation exploding. “I hope it starts soon,” she mewed, “because I might burst if I have to wait any longer!” She laughed. Dappledpaw|12 moons|apprentice|18/18|river Dappledpaw thought she was about to burst with excitement, but she knew she had to show she was mature enough and ready to be a warrior, so she fought off the urge to run in circles, screaming her head off. She decided instead to think about what her warrior name might be, and maybe spend her energy in practicing hunting? So she padded outside and dropped into a hunting crouch, paying attention to prey. Maybe her warrior name would be Dappledclaw since her claws were always ready to hunt? Or something else amazing! Then she realized she'd forgotten all about hunting. 0 players like this post! His ear twitched as Lioncloud leaped down in front of the four apprentices. He looked to Softpaw, Alderpaw, and Swallowpaw then back to Lioncloud. "I do." He meowed his voice clear and strong. Flashbacks from his apprentice ceremony flashed through his mind. He was going to be made a warrior, this was the happiest day of his life. 'But I've never taken my final assessment." Swallowpaw | 13 Moons | Apprentice | 18/18 | Territory | Mentions: Softpaw, Pebblesplash, Alderpaw, Stripepaw, Rainpaw, Lioncloud, Stormberry Swallowpaw kneaded the ground with her paws as she prepared to follow Softpaw but halted as Pebblesplash darted around, caterwauling excitedly. Her ears twitched as she heard her name being called along with Softpaw and a couple other apprentices. Her fluffy tail drooped and brushed the ground softly in disappointment. She had been looking forward to catching up with Softpaw but that would have to wait. On swift paws Swallowpaw bounded after her fellow apprentice to catch a good seat at the meeting that was being called. She pricked her ears as Softpaw sat next to Alderpaw, Rainpaw, and Stripepaw. Swallowpaw sat down next to Softpaw but not soon enough to catch what he had said to Alderpaw. As Lioncloud began to speak her heart began to flutter like a trapped bird in her chest when he mentioned naming new warriors. She stepped forward with the others as her name was called, excitement but also sadness welling in her throat. She wished that Stormberry was there to see this moment. "I do." Swallowpaw said in a strong, clear voice that rang out across the clearing. A determined flame flickered in her icy eyes as she promised herself that she would serve her clan to the end of her days. 0 players like this post! He slowly turned his head to Stormberry, then looked back at Lionpaw. The apprentice was looking straight into his eyes, and it made Sunstar want to crawl right into his fur and hide. Stormberry had a brother? He.. he killed his brother? I don't understand.. My Stormberry could never hurt anyone! Why is this Lionpaw acting like he's telling the truth? (Flashback) Panting, gasping for breath as he arrived at the side of the Thunderpath, Sunflare saw the place where they took Shadeclaw. His friend, the old deputy. His body was wrapped with a Twoleg cobweb, and some of his fur shaved off. Shadeclaw looked both ways, and ran across the Thunderpath. The monster came out of nowhere, and slammed full force onto Shadeclaw's side. Sunflare cried out, immediately running onto the black ground to save his friend. Dragging the lifeless body of the deputy away from the Thunderpath, begging Starclan to let him live. (End) The leader felt his heart begin to slowly pound, and then break, and he didn't know what to do. He had to clear his head, but he couldn't. This was too much for him to handle. There was a fresh big battle ahead where he could lay off steam. Vixenpaw took off toward the battle, engaging in a tussle with another cat similar to his size. He let his eyes slip over to Stormberry one last time, for a moment, and he let his mate see how he felt betrayed. With the flick of his tail, he turned and nodded to his father. "Well, the fight can either come to us, or us to it. Let's save Starclan." His father licked his shoulder, as he also did for Shadeclaw. He was sad that his kids had to fight his battle, but they all knew that they needed each other. To survive. He looked at all his friends and ancestors, and felt a fire of rage, loyalty, and bond course trough him. He immediately screamed as he charged at the dark forest cats, leaping into the air and landing on one's back. 0 players like this post! He gave himself a sigh, where did the time go? The apprentice snapped out from his thoughts as he noticed that Spottedpaw was already ahead of him. "Right behind you." He chuckled before trotting after the she. Mumblepaw closed his eyes as he let out another sigh. "He must be excited to be a warrior..." He mewed in a somewhat upset tone. "I'm happy for him, I guess." The apprentice began mumbling off as he walked, the voices of the ceremony grew louder as he did. Seems like it's already starting, better late than never though. He huffed. "It already started, but I doubt we missed much. Let's just sit and listen." He whispered softly to Spottedpaw before gathering up with the rest of the clan. 0 players like this post! She paused, then tilted her head a little in a sort of 'oh well' half-shrug and trotted over to the back of the crowd, sitting at the very back so that others hopefully wouldn't notice she was late. It was only now that she really paid attention to what was happening- it was a warrior ceremony for not one, but four apprentices! It was certainly a mood boost for the clan, a reminder that they still had a future to look towards, and for the very first time since the fire, Lynxpaw felt a genuine smile on her face. But with the happy scene, came a reminder that made the smile fade again as quickly as it came. One day, she'd get a ceremony like this... would Snowecho be there to see it? 0 players like this post!
