When the young tom didn't reply and just walked past him, he bounded into camp skidding to a stop in the center of the clearing. The smell of blood clung to the clearing. It was overpowering every other smell except for the sharp tang of grief that met his nose. He looked around before seeing a trail of blood leading to the medicine den. He ran over and poked his head inside, seeing cats gathered around a small body. "Oh StarClan," He murmured softly, entering the den and letting his gaze rest on Vixenpaw's limp body.

Mumblepaw slowly walked inside camp. His glare was hard and cold, filled with revenge. It look like he had a dark aura following him. He was going to find that bloody rouge and give him something to cry home about, or better yet kill him himself. Then he'd just freeze for a moment as he sat down for a moment. He then felt cold and depressed. He refused to believe that Vixenpaw was dead. But he heard the words from himself and everyone was talking about it. He felt like he just wanted to curl up with his sad thoughts as well as claw and snap at everything near him. He just needed somebody to talk to right now.

Hawkpaw stood there. The river still touching his paws. He thought for a moment. "Vixenpaw was only two moons older than me. Could I die like that too?" He stared across the river frozen in place. He smashed his paw as hard as he could into the ground. "Is this some kind of punishment StarClan! What did we do to you to make you take Vixenpaw's life? She should have lived longer!" Hawkpaw ran away from the river, away from the camp. He ran until he stood right at the edge of the Clan Territory.

The female was soaking in the warmth of the sun in her pelt when she saw the young tom come running over to her. Before she could ask what was the matter, the news that an apprentice had died sent the warmth that she was just feeling to flee and cause her to grow cold. A death in the clan already was certainly enough to cause some concerns. After a moment, she looked down at the young medicine cat apprentice. guessing that he was there to witness the tragedy after seeing his expression and at the tone of his voice. She gently rest her tail on his shoulder before casting a glance at the medicine cat den.

"Thank you for letting me know, Newtpaw. While i'm not sure what happened, at least she's up in Starclan and no longer in pain, though having her here with us would've been more preferable." Willowstar mewed, trying to comfort him. "I'm going to go to the medicine cat den and find out what happened. If Sunstar comes out before I return, would you also let him know?" With that, she gave a small dip of her head to him before making her way across the camp and into the medicine cat den where the scent of blood flooded her nostrils. Her gaze scanned the den before spotting Horsetail and making her way over. "Horsetail, may I ask how this happened?"

Mumblepaw would look over at Foxpaw. He'd put on a fake, sad smile. "..Thanks I guess I needed somebody to cheer me up. I just.. didn't expect her to just leave us like this. Leave me like this. I didn't know her to well but.. but.. it just hurts you know? It hurts so freaking much and it's not fair..." The tall tom started to break down. He couldn't handle all these emotions right now. Why did Starclan do this? Is this a sign, a punishment? It wasn't fair. They could've chosen any other cat and he'd care less but.. He'd shake his head.

Icepaw pushes her muzzle into Vixenpaws fur smelling her sweet scent. How could StarClan do this to one of her Caln mates? She lets one more yowl of grief escape her. Icepaw feels her legs crumple beneath her. She cant stand it any more! She is questioning StarClan more than she ever has. Icepaw looks down at Vixenpaws unmoving body. Softly she murmurs "Bye Vixenpaw. One day i will see you again I hope."

Featherheart walked after Hawkpaw not saying anything.She knew he wanted to prove himself everyone did.Everyone wanted to avenge Vixenpaw.She went with him anyway."I'm going with you to make sure there aren't anymore of them and if you need help I will help you."She said walking with him."And I don't care what you say im going with you."She added walking beside him.She wasn't about to let anyone else die.And she was going to help Hawkpaw prove himself even if she had to give her own life to protect him.

Hawkpaw ran not really looking where he was going. It wasn't like he could track that idiot rouge. Hawkpaw tripped on a root sticking out of the ground and rolled down a hill. He finally stopped when he had hit a tree. Hawkpaw could smell some blood. He looked at his paw and saw that it was bleeding. It stung but wasn't too bad. "Not like Vixenpaw's." He reminded himself.

Snowpaw keeps herself from crying. Starclan why? she wanted to scream. She kept sliding into dispiar and thoughts that star clan isn't real. No, Snowpaw tells herself, you can't let go of everything you know. Starclan IS real. Snowpaw remembers stories from when she was a kit. The clans were divided. They used to fight all the time. They had many deaths and never let go of star clan. We are just fortunate to be together, as one.
