Dawnclan Territory:
Dawnclan's territory is lightly forested, with wider, slow rivers connecting to the two small central lakes. The terrain is moss covered and gently hilly. A sandy area on the edge of a shallow river is their training area, and to the south is the two-leg gathering place where small nests nestle between thin cut trees on the edge of a small lake, which merges into the two-leg town the more south one goes.
The camp is nestled in a dip in the land, with a series of rocks that make shelters for the Leader and Medicine cat dens, as well as the nursery. The rest of the nests are in old burrows, the edge of the camp sheltered with prickly brambles. It is spacious and open, with plenty of places to relax on moss covered stones or tussle in soft grass.
the territory is marked to the east and north by a large, uncrossable river. To the south by the two-leg camp ground, and to the east by their boundary with Duskclan, which is marked most notably by a large spread of rocks along a thin river that eventually turns into Duskclan terrain. It is a spot of much conflict.

Duskclan Territory:
Duskclan's territory lies to the east side of the territories, in thicker forest where mist lingers longer in the mornings, and navigation requires agility and precision. The rivers here are often thinner, but more wild with faster waters in many of the places. Their training area is a clear patch of forest where the ground is soft and a fallen log and tree stumps provide a boundary.
Their camp is nestled up, and along the side of a hill that inclines sharply, with pathways between and going up its walls. The dens nestle close together, with the Leaders den above inside a fallen tree root system, the medicine cat below in the same system. The dens are in a mixture of burrows and makeshift nests in the brush, some nests in the jagged hill walls. Outside the nests they have a spacious area for sharing tongues and meetings, protected by thick foliage and the numerous rocks.
Their territory is marked by a sheer cliff drop to the east, an uncross able river to the north, the two-legs to the south, and their border with Dawnclan.
2000px-Decorative_text_divider.svg.png

 CURRENT EVENTS
Two-legs are in the territory!
Currently due to the nice weather, two-legs have been more prevalent than normal, walking along the paths that trace between both clans.
Though they often leave cats alone, the threat of dogs and scared prey is high.

NEWS

CLUES

| Wolfstorm | 38 Moons | Female | Duskclan Warrior |
Location: Duskclan camp- Apprentice den
Mentions: Clan - Meeting, Frost, Cattlekit, Owlfeather

Wolfstorm listened as any good warrior would as her leader spoke, glancing over at the little kit as he played. Once the meeting was over, her clanmates dissipated once more, and Owlfeather came to speak with her and the others.

"Take no offense to this, Owlfeather, but you had most of the clan watching when you blurted it out to Blackstar there." There was a sort of fond amusement in her tone, certainly nothing accusatory. "I think you'll make a fine mother, though I can agree that it's sure to get a bit crowded in there... not that it's necessarily a bad thing. Kits are the future of the clan after all." She touched her nose gently to the deputy's shoulder. "I'm going to go speak with Sootwhisker and congratulate him. You did a great job training him." With that, she headed off towards the fresh kill pile where the newly appointed warrior was trying to pick out his dinner.

"Congratulations Sootwhisker!" She grinned brightly at the young tom, then leaned down to get a mouse for her own dinner. Perhaps she could encourage cattlekit to eat a little bit of it as well. Even though Frost had mentioned fish being a good thing for him to eat, if he could keep some mouse down it couldn't hurt. She padded back towards the nursery, bending down when she saw the kit.

"Would you like to try some mouse? I think you might like it."

| Shadewing | 20 Moons | Male | Dawnclan Warrior |
Location: Edge of territory
Mentions: Turtlesplash, Patch, Scorchwing

"Maybe not the most creative thing, but it fits us both well." Shadewing mrowed in amusement, though he flicked his tail at the she-cat's comment. "I'd suggest being nicer if you want her to let you stay back. Even with everything that's happened, tension is high..." He looked over at Patch curiously. "Yes, she'd find herself a better home with Duskclan. I can take her to the border. Scorchwing, would you mind telling Umbraclaw that I'll be out a bit later than expected? I'll catch some prey on the way home from the border." With that, he turned his full attention towards Patch. "To the border then, follow me." He flicked his tail and set off, not going too fast to ensure she could keep up easily.

"So, you were looking for a new life? I can't say I blame you. The life of a rogue seems so needlessly difficult and... well, barbaric. I never understood why some cats actually prefer it over clan life. There's no honor in it... Ah, enough of that, you probably know what I mean, seeings as you're seeking a clan to join. Duskclan is the far more welcoming of the two, and many of the cats there were former rogues. You'll fit right in! And, I don't mean that in a bad way at all!" He quickly followed up the comment about her fitting in. "You'd face far more discrimination if you tried to join Dawnclan. Even I have in the past, and I was clan-born, but my grandmother wasn't." Despite leading a future warrior to another clan, he was amicable. Friendships weren't against the law, as long as loyalty stayed first and foremost with one's clan after all. "Perhaps our paths will cross again sometime though, it's not a crime to have friendships with warriors from the other clan, as long as your loyalty never sways."

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Duskclan Camp|Mention(s) Directly: Wolfstorm, Cttlekit, Springpaw {Fawnpelt, Brambletail, Clovershine}|Mention(s) Indirectly: Nightfall

A slight tinge of embarrassment came to the deputy's face, at her friends words. So the clan had overheard. Owlfeather huft, "If you don't watch out, you might just join us", the siamese she-cat said, with amusement in her voice, "Then we really won't have any space", the she-cat added. Reaching forward, Owlfeather nipped Wolfstorm's tail, as the calico she-cat turned to leave. This was not meant in a mean way, but just some banter.
As she looked after Wolfstorm, she vaguely remembered the first time they had met. They had both been young, both around apprentice age, when the fluffy she-cat had joined the clan. Even though Owlfeather had only joined the clan 3 or so moons before, she had been put incharge of looking out after the she-cat. About a moon after Wolfstom had joined, Owlfeather became a warrior, since the calico she-cat had not been assigned a suitable mentor by that point, the siamese she-cat had become her mentor. It had been strange, Wolfstorm was a few moons her senior and taller then she. Still, the two she-cats had come out of that strange situation, as good friends.
Owlfeather's blue eyes turned to look down at the small kit, it looked healthy enough. What kind of a mother would leave a kit, this young, on its own? Owlfeather wondered. Then again, maybe the she-cat had known, about the clan and hoped that they would be able to raise the kit in her stead. Leaning down, the nudged the little kit. "Do you have a name there, little one?", Owlfeather asked, could kits this young even speak?
The deputy looked up, as Wolfstorm came back. Her eyes fell on the mouse, it might be a bit to big, if the kit even was interested in the prey. Moving closer to Wolfstorm, the deputy nodded to the mouse. "Maybe taire a few pieces off, might be more interested then", Owlfeather stated, her speech had become a bit sluggish. Getting to her paws, her blue eyes fell on the entrance of the nursery. It was probably a good idea to move into there now, Owlfeather let out a sigh and a scowl came to her face at the mere thought. Tapping Wolfstorm on the shoulder, the deputy still had duties to attend to. Walking over to a few warriors, Owlfeather addressed them, "Clovershine, Fawnpelt, Brambletail I want the three of you to go out on dawn patrol tomorrow, try to bring some prey back as well", nodding in the direction of the found kit, she continued, "We have an extra mouth to feed", the deputy said all of this briskly. Nodding her head, to make sure that the warriors had understood, Owlfeather turned on her heels. She felt exhausted, as she looked to the nursery, the deputy spotted Springpaw. Walking over to the apprentice, the deputy called out to get the young she-cats attention, "Springpaw!" Walking over, the siamese she-cat spoke to the apprentice, "Could you take some bedding to the nursery? We have a new arrival and I will also be moving in", Owlfeather said, nodding over her shoulder to the small kit.

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Dawnclan Camp|Mention(s) Directly: Hornetpaw, OPEN|Mention(s) Indirectly: Gingerstar, Foxpaw

The ginger messenger apprentice, placed the stillborn kit in the small hole. Flamepaw felt strange, she had seen so many dead cats in these past days. As Hornetpaw covered the dead kits, the she-cat could not look at them. Her eyes lifted up, when the medicine cat apprentice turned to her. "Alright", Flamepaw answered in a small voice. Turning, the ginger tabby apprentice walked through camp. Her head was down cast and the she-cat was in her own mind, so she did not notice anything going on around her at all.
Reaching the fresh-kill pile, Flamepaw snagged a fish with her claw. Dragging the fish to an isolated spot, the she-cat laid down. As her eyes moved up from her prey, she took notice of Foxpaw talking with Gingerstar. Her littermate seemed to be pretty worked up, normally Flamepaw would be more than happy to listen in. Not today though, Flamepaw just wanted to eat her fish, head for her nest, and then sleep. Reaching forward, Flamepaw tore a piece off and started to chew.

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-Owlfeather, Open| Mentor: Adderflight| Location: Camp|☬

Springpaw had bounded over to to listen to the clan meeting, she was watching her leader. He was such a graceful cat and cared deeply about his clan mates. She watched as he started to talk about owlfeather and she wrinkled her nose in discuss to it. ”how can she even be our deputy if she can’t even fallow simple directions! That’s utterly ridiculous she does not deserve to be our deputy!” She spat quit key to herself to wear only she could hear. of course she was mad, she had respected there code and you should always fallow your leaders choice even if it isn’t the best idea. You should never go out and make your own rash decision how could she do that, now they may never have a chance at peace again. She hissed under her breath as owl star had continued then she noticed one of her fellow apprentices, or should she say warrior now being recognized. ”Sootwhisker, sootwhisker” she meowed the newly warriors name as she glanced at owlfeather. The ceremony was now over, but she had heard owlfeather call her name. Not wanting to be mean and show her opinions in from her owlfeather she nodded to her deputy. ”Yes of course owlfeather, congratulations I bet you will make a fine mother” she purred and quickly left to go fetch some moss. She found a tree with some moss that was soft she slashed at it not ripping it badly and mad sure nothing sharp would poke, then she looked for some scattered feathers and pulled them down. Quickly she bounded into the nursery and put some nest together adding a few leaves to the moss and feathers making it soft and comfortable. While she was there she had also decided to change some bedding seeing she had grabbed more then she needed. Once she had done her duty she padded back to owlfeather. “I have finished feel free to tell me if it is not to soft and I’ll try my best to look for more feathers” she purred happily trying not to show she was tired.

Ravenblaze | Dawnclan Former Medicine Cat | 25 Moons | White Green-Eyed Tom | Dawnclan Camp | Open!

Ravenblaze heard the yowling die down so guessed that Cloudburst had finished her kitting. While he laid in the medicine cat den, he kept reminiscing about his kithood. It was far more pleasant to think about than what was happening in the present. He recalled the first time he had confronted his mother about his name. He had insisted to her that his name should be 'Whitekit' or 'Snowkit', but his words were quickly shut down as she had asked him a simple question. 'Where is the fun in that?'. He believed that her mother's continuous efforts to joke with him helped him become the cat he was to this day. He growled softly at himself. A cat he was not acting like. He hated feeling scared and helpless like this. He hated not knowing what to do, not knowing which herbs he should use to soothe his heightened anxiety. He shut his eyes tightly and hid his face under his massive paws. At least he could drown himself in his memories of his past.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Camp|Mention(s) Directly: Wolfstorm, Springpaw|Mention(s) Indirectly: Sootwhisker

Owlfeather nodded her head, as the young she-cat ran off to fetch some bedding. Before Owlfeather could even return to Wolfstorm and see how she was getting on with feeding the kit, Springpaw had already returned. "Thank you, great and fast work", the deputy said, praising the she-cat. Spotting the tiredness through the smile, she tapped her shoulder. "It's getting late, you should grab something to eat and get some sleep", the deputy said, starting to walk past the apprentice, the siamese she-cat paused and looked back. "When you're over there, make sure Sootwhisker eats too. Knowing him, he'll probably insist that he is not hungry", Owlfeather said.
Walking back to Wolfstorm, the deputy's tired mind wandered a bit. She was not a mentor anymore, it was probably better, considering that she was expecting. Owlfeather was proud of Sootwhisker, he'd always been a good and attentive listener and learner. Much unlike Wolfstorm had been, her friend had insisted that she already knew everything. It had been way too exasperating training her, that being given Sootpaw had been welcomed. In her thoughts, Owlfeather had not noticed that she was already apone the small group bunched around the kit. Incidentally, Owlfeather crashed head first into Wolfstorm's hindquarters. Staggering back a bit, the she-cat rubbed her bruised nose. "Shoory", Owlfeather said, her voice muffled by the paw she now held over her nose.

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Messenger Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: |Mention(s) Directly: Ravenblaze|Mention(s) Indirectly: Hornetpaw, Foxpaw, Gingerstar

Finished with most of her fish, Flamepaw stood up and went to bury the remaining bones. As she walked across camp, the messenger apprentice noticed a small movement in the medicine cat den. Didn't Hornetpaw say, that he would go and stay with Cloudburst? After digging a shallow hole, Flamepaw buried the fish bones just outside of camp. Returning, she headed for the medicine cat den.
Only as she neared it, did Flamepaw notice a white pelt gleaming through the fronse covering the entrance of the den. "Ravenblaze!", Flamepaw exclaimed, a bit surprised that she had not noticed the medicine cat before. As she stopped in front of the white tom, she noticed that he seemed to be injured. "Are you alright?", the she-cat asked, indicating his wound. It was good, that the medicine cat was back. By the way her sister and Gingerstar was acting, she could tell that something had happened. Moving into the medicine cat den, the apprentice sat down just inside of the den.
"Cloudburst had her kits", Flamepaw said, turning back to Ravenblaze. "Though you probably heard", the she-cat added, a dry smile on her lips. "Five, but two where stillborn and... and another might not last the night", Flamepaw said, "But the other two seem healthy enough, Cloudburst named them Stagkit and Boarkit. Hornetpaw was great, he knew exactly what to do", the fluffy ginger tabby she-cat added, praising the medicine cat apprentice. Looking back to the white tom, Flamepaw asked, "Do you want me to bring you something, like prey? or new bedding?"

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Camp| Mentions: (Direct) Owlfeather, Vulturepaw (Indirect) Blackstar

Sootwhisker was still purring happily as he trotted to the fresh-kill pile after receiving a much-appreciated congratulations from Owlfeather. However, he stopped short of his destination and turned his head this way and that in search of Vulturepaw. He was certain that the small tom had been trying to talk to him before the clan meeting, but perhaps Blackstar's announcements had already answered his questions. Suddenly feeling a bit less enthusiastic about eating, Sootwhisker padded away to where he would silently stand guard during the night. The sun would be going down soon enough anyway, so he figured he may as well make sure that he's where he needs to be now.

After a few long stretches, the tom sat with a small thud and sighed. A silent vigil might not be the most exciting thing, but Sootwhisker was content with the task. It felt good to be out here doing something for the clan, even if what he was doing was as simple as guarding the entrance. Sootwhisker listened to the light buzz of activity and chatter from within the camp, and a comforting warmth spread through his chest. Although the tom tended to enjoy getting some shut-eye after a long day, he was sure that he would have no trouble staying awake tonight.

Gingerstar | DawnClan Leader | 36 Moons | Mollie | Camp | Foxpaw ; [ID] Cloudburst

Gingerstar's ears flattened when Foxpaw explained to her the situation in more detail. She rose onto her paws, scanning the clan cats in camp before giving a loud call. "Beestrike, Embergaze, at my side!" Though her voice was not strained, there was urgency behind it. It did not sit well with her that her deputy had decided to take on two potential hostiles with no backup. As soon as the cats she had called had made it to her, she turned her gaze to Foxpaw, and shouted, "Hornetpaw, you have the camp." Once assured he had heard, she nodded at the apprentice before her.

"Lead the way back, exactly how you came."

She let the ginger apprentice guide her through the forest, her long strides pacing alongside them with ease. As they rounded the corner to the edge of the river, she skidded to a halt at the sight of Larkclaw's prone body. Her heart stopped for a moment before she noticed her flanks rising and falling. Ears flattened, she shouted out, "Larkclaw!" and turned back to her patrol. "I want you all to go on ahead, rendezvous with Umbraclaw near the cavern and fetch her back. I want you to mark all the areas that stink of their opponents, and return to camp quickly. No more battles tonight."

With that, she jogged over to her warrior, nosing the tabby and white fur that was stained by red around her side. She did not flinch, but was obviously disquieted by the wound. "Did the intruder do this to you?" she asked briskly, scanning the wound to see how bad it was. It was still slowly seeping blood, but there was no pool below Larkclaw, and she took that to be a good thing. She crouched down, using her shoulder to help nudge the warrior back onto her feet. She did not wait for a response before saying, "we have to get you back to camp. Lean on me, let's try to get back without any other rests."
If you ask too many questions, or seek too much approval, nothing ever gets done

⌘{ Patch }⌘
:: Female :: Rogue :: 35 Moons :: M-Turtlesplash, Scorchwing, Shadewing ::
:: Location: Dawnclan Border > Duskclan Border ::

Perking her tufted ears forward as the young tom spoke, Patch gave a hesitant bob of her head as he conveyed his intention of leading her to the border. Part of her still wanted to learn about this clan...Dawnclan...but now that she had introduced herself it seemed as if the two warriors were in a real hurry to get Turtlesplash back home and her out of their territory. The thought that she might have some potential to join their clan instead of Dusks didn't even seem to cross their minds....it was the first hint of the discrimination Turtlesplash had been muttering about on their way into the forest and even in such little quantities even the smallest thought that they might think her less than them rubbed the calico rogue's fur the wrong way. Still, she shouldn't let any emotions get carried away (as was much more likely in such an unfamiliar environment such as this)...all and all compared to other felines she had met these individuals seemed....well polite beyond belief. After all, they hadn't yet attempted to claw her eyes out for looking at them!

Rising from where she sat, Patch paused to look back at Turtlesplash as Shadewing started off into the brush. "It was nice meeting you Turtlesplash! I'm glad we had the opportunity to talk! Perhaps we will run into each other again. I owe you one." Dipping her head to the other calico, Patch gave her tail a small wave of farewell to both of the she-cats before she followed Shadewing's black and white form deeper into the forest.

Large form quickly recovering the distance between herself and the darkly painted stranger, Patch tilted her head to the side as she listened to him chatter. Barbaric indeed. Yes, so far he was quite different from other males she had met...the comparison could be likened to black and white! From the way he spoke to the simple allowance of personal space and freedom from expectations. All of it was quite surreal..so surreal in fact that Patch found herself in the awkward position of having caught only the last few sentences. Luckily though, it didn't seem as if this waver of attention-span would do her great harm...indeed she had a response for him.

"I would honestly welcome any friendships I might have the chance of garnering. It's an interesting coincidence that you speak of your grandmother...the only way I knew the clans even existed was because of my mother's stories of her grandfather! Apparently, he belonged to a clan once. I don't know if it was one of your clans specifically but the stories mom told of him and the things he went through were certainly the stories of heroes for us kits. "

Subconsciously Patch winced...for the past several minutes from the minute her pelt had finally dried out to present time her skin had increasingly started to itch making her pelt twitch over her form. Stupid fleas...one would think a swim in the river would have gotten rid of them...but no...they remained her only constant companions...hopefully, they wouldn't get any worse. Even rogues found it embarrassing to have to try and gnaw at one's own hide trying to find the little buggers.

Vulturepaw || 10moons || Male || Duskclan apprentice {Mentor- Redeye} || short dark brown/black tom with yellow eyes || deformed throat/trachea || Location {} || Mentions {directly-Weaselflight, Owlfeather, Sootpaw, Blackstar} {indirectly- }

Vulturepaw turned his attention to the leader, as a meeting was called, his face contorted with a mixture of emotions as Blackstar gave the clan a recap of what had been going on. He felt tears welling up in his eyes for the millionth time today, he was broken about the fact that his mentor was now missing, but he was mostly angry. He was mad that, knowing his mentor, Redeye had put himself in serious danger, mad that Sootp- Whisker hadn't told him, mad that Weaselflight had lied, but most of all, he was Furious that Owlfeather hadn't stopped when they were ahead. The fact that she, as deputy, was supposed to take control in the situation they had been in, and that she had messed up so badly only added to his frustration. She should have had them all turn back to camp when they found out about the first stranger, but she didn't and now Vulturepaw was mentor-less and the clan had lost yet another member. The small black apprentice was fuming, he stood and turned sharply after Sootwhisker was given his warrior name, and he stamped into the apprentice den before laying back down in his next, If he wasn't so angry he'd be a sobbing mess again. He simply layed down in his nest, fur bristling and small streams of tears trailing from his eyes, he festered in his thoughts. Eventually he would calm down and forgive everyone, but in the moment he was just so upset he didn't know what to do with himself.

((he didn't stay out long enough to hear Owlfeather's announcement))

⇺ [ Hornetpaw ] ⇻
18 Moons • Male • DawnClan • Medicine Cat Apprentice
Location: Camp • Mentions: Cloudburst, Ravenblaze, Flamepaw, Gingerstar, Foxpaw, Larkclaw

Hornetpaw peered into the nursery, finding Cloudburst still resting. Creeping quietly inside, he dutifully curled himself around the third kit, determined to keep her warm and comfortable for whatever remained of her life. It was depressing work waiting for the newborn’s breathing to stop, but he thankfully didn’t have to wait longer than a few minutes before the shallow rise and fall of her sides ceased. Eyes glistening with sadness, he decided not to wake Cloudburst as he carried her to the Clan’s gravesite and buried her beside her siblings.

Despite assuring Cloudburst no cat was to blame, Hornetpaw couldn’t help wondering if his inexperience had been a factor in the low survival rate. If Ravenblaze had overseen the birthing would things have turned out differently? Guilt washed over him as he was just remembering the other tom's condition. He hadn’t been able to finish treating him before rushing to Cloudburst’s aid. Making his way back to the medicine den, he found Flamepaw keeping the white tom company and sent a grateful glance her way before addressing his mentor. “How are you Ravenblaze, do you need anything else?”

His ears flicked as he heard Gingerstar both call his mother’s name with a hint of urgency in her voice and declare he was in charge of the camp until her return. Shifting nervously, he glanced through the den entrance, watching as Foxpaw led a small patrol out into the territory. Alarm pulsed through him upon realizing Larkclaw had been on patrol with the ginger apprentice. Where was she? The desire to charge after the patrol and find out for himself whether or not his niece was alright felt almost unbearable, but Gingerstar was counting on him to keep order here.

Reassuring himself that Beestrike and Gingerstar would make certain Larkclaw made it home, he turned his attention back to Ravenblaze and Flamepaw. “Seems something’s happened outside of camp,” he muttered, paws kneading the ground anxiously. “Hopefully it’s nothing serious.

⇺ [ Turtlesplash ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • Former Kittypet
Location: DawnClan Border • Mentions: Patch, Shadewing, Scorchwing, Gingerstar

“Farewell Patch, it was a pleasure to meet you. I hope you settle in well and find Clan life to be everything you dreamed of,” Turtlesplash replied as Shadewing led the rogue away. While her voice was steady her eyes seemed regretful. It would have been nice to stay together, but she knew bringing Patch to DawnClan’s camp could potentially endanger her life and Turtlesplash would never forgive herself if she caused the other she-cat undue harm, intentionally or not. She offered no comment on the notion of meeting again.

Even in front of friendly cats like Scorchwing and Shadewing she would need to watch what she said. As much as she wanted to trust these cats, it was something she couldn’t afford when her current standing with Gingerstar was still unknown. “Shall we head to camp then? I’m eager to…” get this over with? No, that wouldn’t exactly sound in her favor, “see my family and old Clanmates again,” she inquired of Scorchwing, assuming Shadewing would rejoin them once Patch had been shown to the border.

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-Owlfeather, Open| Mentor: Adderflight| Location: Camp|☬

Springpaw nodded her head thankfully to the she cat and walked to the fresh kill pile. There she way sootwisker picking up their prey and eating it. She smiled happily to the new warrior and be out her fresh kill wich she chose as a sparrow, to a small opening. There she tore into it ripping it gracefully somehow not getting a single drop of blood on her muzzle. Once she was done she pushed the bones into a small pile and put her head on her paws.

She watched as the sun was starting to dim and she smiled. She didn’t have alought of interaction today as she normally does, but then again she is not a talkative cat even if she was others may not like her personality? Was she always this blunt about herself? Sighing she closed her eyes and breathed in the sweet smell of the outside. Poor kitty pets never knew what it is to be free and smell this smell every single day. It’s was just so glorious. Even when she was running she felt as if she could fly. Meany thoughts ran through her head as she relized how really no cat had come to visit her when she was sick. Why was that? Ohh she had opened her eyes to glance at herself and sighed. It’s was because she never talked and felt as if there was something else. However weren’t they all outcast in a way?

| Wolfstorm | 38 Moons | Female | Duskclan Warrior |
Location: Duskclan camp- Apprentice den
Mentions: Cattlekit, Owlfeather

"Be careful or you might join us." Wolfstorm snickered. "No, I don't think that's in the plan any time soon! I don't even have a mate!" She flicked her tail in amusement as she walked off. The she-cat was fond of Owlfeather, even though they'd met under odd circumstances, they'd really grown to become good friends over time. She was glad to have a friend like that, even though she considered most of the clan to be her friends and family.

It wasn't long before she returned and huffed. "Of course I'll tear bits off for him." She laughed as her friend headed off, getting things ready in the nursery. She had torn off a few small bites of mouse for the kit, urging him to try it.

She jumped when Owlfeather bonked into her, turning quickly only to snort with laughter. "You need to be more careful there, Owlfeather, you can't just be going around hurting yourself, especially with kits on the way." She purred, nudging her shoulder gently. "If you're that tired, why not go get some rest? It'll do you well after such an eventful day." She stretched, yawning as she did. "Perhaps if would be good for both of us to sleep for a while, but I promised Frost that I'd go try to catch some minnows for our newest member of the clan." She looked back towards Cattlekit as he played.

| Shadewing | 20 Moons | Male | Dawnclan Warrior |
Location: Edge of territory
Mentions: Patch

"It seems like we both have a bit of history with some form of clans in our lineage." He purred with amusement. It wasn't long before they approached the border, and Shadewing stopped.

"This is where we part ways, I won't cross into another clan's territory without permission or one of the messengers with me. It would likely be a good idea to wait for their dawn patrol to pick you up in the morning, rather than just going to their camp tonight. There are plenty of trees and such around, so I'm sure you'd be able to find a decent place to sleep until then." It seemed as though he was set to return home to his clan now, but he paused for a moment more. "It was nice meeting you Patch, I really do hope you find your place here in the forest." He dipped his head, then turned to rush towards camp. He didn't want to miss what Gingerstar had to say about Turtlesplash... he hoped she'd be allowed to come back home.

Frost |Old Med-cat,Duskclan|white and gray she-cat|Location: Duskclan Camp|Mentions: Weaselflight, Springpaw
Frost had kept her gaze on Blackstar during the meeting, but when he was done she turned her attention to the rest of the clan. While a few muttered a greeting or two, she did not recognize many of the faces anymore. Not that it seemed to bother the white she-cat as she rose to her paws, scooting the last few pawsteps towards Weaselflight.
"Let me see your paw." She said, not unkindly, but with a firm mew that was clearly used to being listened to.
Without waiting, she bent, to get a closer look at the injury. Her eyes narrowed.
"You were sent out and about with this?" Her blue gaze shifted with the first flicker of annoyance towards Blackstar's den.
"What good is a cat if they're not let to heal." She sighed, and straightened up.
"You'll stay in the medicine-cat den tonight. I'll see what's all in there, but might need to gather some supplies tomorrow if stores are low." She gave a faint shudder, as if slightly unsettled by how easily she remembered the old ways she had performed.
"No arguments." she glanced at Dustpelt for a moment, who was at the injured toms side, before she shifted on her paws, eyes swiveling across the camp until they landed on Springpaw. She could smell the faint traces of sickness on the young apprentice, and could tell it was her scent that had been resting in the medicine-cat den recently. So with narrowed eyes she padded over, giving her a scanning glance.
"Did your previous medicine-cat give you clearance to go back to the apprentice den?" she asked, wanting to make sure this ragged group was at the very least, not making their lives harder than they already were.

Foxpaw|Apprentice of Dawnclan|Small Ginger Tabby She-cat|Location: Clan Borders|Mentions: Umbraclaw, (NPCS) Embergaze, Beestrike

Foxpaw had bounced on her paws as Gingerstar told her to lead, holding her tail up and streaking out once more, sending her heart rate back into a frenzy. The blood was rushing in her ears once more, and she hardly heard it when they were called to stop, finding Larkclaw resting. Foxpaw skidded in the leaf litter, panting but trotting slightly closer, head tilted in curiosity. She hadn't realized Larkclaw was that bad. She paused only for a moment, when Beestrike gave her a nudge to continue. With a huff she took off once more into the forest, noting the sun starting to lowered towards the horizon. It hadn't felt like that much time had passed, but it never did when one was busy.
As she neared the Cavern, she could scent, then see Umbraclaw as the small patrol drew near.
"Umbraclaw." Beestrike came up, passing Foxpaw on longer legs.
"Gingerstar's orders, mark the area off, she doesn't want anymore blood spilled tonight. " Beestrike mewed, giving a respectful bob of the head. With that, the two warriors went to start marking, while Foxpaw trotted closer towards the Cavern, giving a faint shiver. She could smell the blood and fear scent still sticking to the stone, where the chill wind seemed to never cease. It was quiet however, and after a moment of listening, Foxpaw gave a snort. Now she was really certain the white tom was never coming out.
Adding her own scent to the area, she moved away from the site, giving a side ways glance to Umbraclaw as she did so, as if scanning her mentor. Her unblinking gaze swiveled over the older cat for a few moments, then she turned, and began to pad back towards the direction of the camp. Beestrike and Embergaze were already done, and after giving another nod to Umbraclaw, began to head back as well.

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-Frost, Open| Mentor: Adderflight| Location: Camp|Color Code=#0dbab1|☬

Springpaw looked up at the old medicine cat and got up, oh no she got busted. To be honest she was a little bit out of it when the previous medicine cat told her to be released. ”uhh yes ma’am” she meowed a little bit uneasily. It was true she had been recovering from a sickness, but she never was told what it was. She believed it was green cough, but didn’t really know. ”Frost what did you mean by previous Medici cat, I thought you where the one taking care of me” she meowed. She truly didn’t know wich cat was taking care of her she had felt week and when it came to sickness. She was a young cat and has always been the smallest out of her litter being that she was the runt. She did truely like frost though, she though as frost like a mother since her own clan mother didn’t take care of her like she should have. She flicked her tail in annoyance and smiled.

So what was she to do it frost brought her back into the medicine cats den again, of course she may love it. However she couldn’t bear to think what the other apprentices might say always being stuck up in the medicine cats den. However atleast she would probably get to see mithpaw is she did, he was a nice apprentice. Careful she eyes frost with a goofy look saying she was totally fine and puffed out her chest.

Umbraclaw|Deputy of Dawnclan|Black Mollie|Location: Dawnclan Forest|Mentions: Foxpaw, (Ind) Gingerstar NPCs: Embergaze, Beestrike

Contrary to Gingerstar's concerns, Umbraclaw had no intention of engaging the two hostiles. No, she was content to be the passive observer, trying to gain whatever information she could. Sadly that would turn out to be zilch as there had been absolutely no activity at the cave entrance. As such, Foxpaw leading the two warriors, Embergaze and Beestrike would find her perfectly fine in a stealthy position looking over the cave.

At her apprentices approach, Umbraclaw would turn her head to look at her, while still keeping some vision on the cave mouth. After being given the message from Gingerstar, the deputy would say. "Very well, let us mark off the area and get back to camp. Nothing has happened since you have left so the fate of that foolish albino and "storm" is still very much unknown. They could have been slaughtered by dark cats for all I know."

With that she would start to scent mark the area before heading back to camp, hoping for some good news on Larkclaw's condition upon arriving...as well as also dreading a well deserved tongue lashing from Gingerstar.
