Dawnclan Territory:
Dawnclan's territory is lightly forested, with wider, slow rivers connecting to the two small central lakes. The terrain is moss covered and gently hilly. A sandy area on the edge of a shallow river is their training area, and to the south is the two-leg gathering place where small nests nestle between thin cut trees on the edge of a small lake, which merges into the two-leg town the more south one goes.
The camp is nestled in a dip in the land, with a series of rocks that make shelters for the Leader and Medicine cat dens, as well as the nursery. The rest of the nests are in old burrows, the edge of the camp sheltered with prickly brambles. It is spacious and open, with plenty of places to relax on moss covered stones or tussle in soft grass.
the territory is marked to the east and north by a large, uncrossable river. To the south by the two-leg camp ground, and to the east by their boundary with Duskclan, which is marked most notably by a large spread of rocks along a thin river that eventually turns into Duskclan terrain. It is a spot of much conflict.

Duskclan Territory:
Duskclan's territory lies to the east side of the territories, in thicker forest where mist lingers longer in the mornings, and navigation requires agility and precision. The rivers here are often thinner, but more wild with faster waters in many of the places. Their training area is a clear patch of forest where the ground is soft and a fallen log and tree stumps provide a boundary.
Their camp is nestled up, and along the side of a hill that inclines sharply, with pathways between and going up its walls. The dens nestle close together, with the Leaders den above inside a fallen tree root system, the medicine cat below in the same system. The dens are in a mixture of burrows and makeshift nests in the brush, some nests in the jagged hill walls. Outside the nests they have a spacious area for sharing tongues and meetings, protected by thick foliage and the numerous rocks.
Their territory is marked by a sheer cliff drop to the east, an uncross able river to the north, the two-legs to the south, and their border with Dawnclan.

 CURRENT EVENTS
Two-legs are in the territory!
Currently due to the nice weather, two-legs have been more prevalent than normal, walking along the paths that trace between both clans.
Though they often leave cats alone, the threat of dogs and scared prey is high.

NEWS

CLUES
Two-legs have taken a Duskclan cat.
Two-leg traps have been found in both clans.
A Dawnclan cat was killed by an unknown source.
A strange new scent has been found all over the territory, its source leading apparently south.

~~
During a storm, Duskclan cats found three bodies, all deceased. Two Dawnclan, one Duskclan.
Dawnclan on the same patrol found a few pawprints, hard to identify but heading what looks like south.
Mothpaw, Ravenblaze, and Hornetpaw have seen signs in the clouds, cats fighting against an unknown darkness.
~~
Two strangers have been found in the territory, one taken by the two-legs another who seems to be nesting near the Cavern on Dawnclan territory.

The traps are discovered to not be for the cats.

The story continues!

Dawnclan
There is a chill in the forest, that isn't from the weather. The disturbance of the cats in the Cavern, the injuries to their clan, and the appearance of a rejected warrior have put Dawnclan on edge, even more-so than normal. Duties have made hunting, which should be easy during the Greenleaf warmth, to be more tricky due to needing larger parties. Every cat is more worn out than normal.
whileno more cats have gone missing, and the Serval seems to have kept to the South of the territory, the Two-leg activity has increased, both the normal, warm weather kind, and those who traverse off the two-leg paths and delve deeper into the woods. They have gotten uncomfortably close to the camp.
Turtlesplash has been watch nonstop, despite what cats personal feelings may be on the situation. The injured cats have started to feel better after getting rest, but it is clear that the tension can't continue long without something breaking. It may be time for the cats to go against their instincts, for better or worse.

Duskclan
The forest is just as tense in the denser side of the forest. Blackstar has forbid any cat to travel without a partner, and they have been marking their border, though the patrols have been more cautious than ever, going out of their way to avoid confrontation with Dawnclan. Two-leg activity has increased, and on top of having new strangers in the camp, it seems that Duskclan is slowly regressing back into a more chaotic clan despite Blackstars attempts to contain the anxieties.
Yet, their missing cats have yet to come back, and it seems high time to stop sitting around, and take the fight to their real enemies, whoever they may be.

(Two full days have passed since the last events! Its the morning of the third day. Feel free to write about what your character may have done in those days. If you wanna have them do something special, let me know and I'll let you know if they discover anything. Otherwise, it may be time for the clans to give their opinions on the situation. Should they take the fight to the Serval? Should they try and help? What do they think will stop the two-legs? You're decisions will decide how things play out!)

| Wolfstorm | 38 Moons | Female | Duskclan Warrior |
Location: Duskclan camp- Apprentice den
Mentions: Springpaw, Vulturepaw

The day broke with warmth and tension, as most days recently had. Wolfstorm stretched in what remained of her nest, cursing herself for Shredding it from her thrashing yet again. She tried to scoop the moss and feathers back into it, but it was futile. "I'll just have to gather some more moss later to remake it..." She sighed, stretching once more before padding out into the clearing. Camp seemed to just be waking up, and she was glad she wasn't late. With the think heaviness in the air, she decided that it was a good idea to get out and away for a bit. She didn't even wait for the dawn patrols to be assigned before heading towards the apprentice's den to get Springpaw up. Before she woke he apprentice, she cast a glance towards the sleeping form of Vulturepaw in the corner of the den, sleeping with his back to the entrance. He needed to get out and away from his own thoughts for a while. "Springpaw, Vulturepaw, it's time to get up. We have work to do today." She figured that Springpaw would be up and ready to go in no time, eager to get things done. Vulturepaw though, he'd need some persuasion. She padded over to the young tom and nudged his shoulder gently. "Come on, it's high time you got some fresh air in your lungs. Hunting will do you some good."

| Shadewing | 20 Moons | Male | Dawnclan Warrior |
Location: Camp
Mentions: Hornetpaw

Shadewing woke as morning sun filtered into the warrior's den. It wasn't long before he was up and about. He knew that Gingerstar and Umbraclaw weren't exactly pleased with him for bringing Turtlesplash back to camp, and he knew he really should be trying to make it up to them somehow, but for right now he just needed to talk to someone. Who better than his beloved cousin? Maybe he could even accompany Hornetpaw to get some herbs or something and avoid being put on bedding duty as a punishment for bringing his old clanmate back. He slunk into the medicine cat den, looking around before coming nose to nose with Hornetpaw. He sat back, blinking. "Good morning." He wound around the ginger and white cat before flopping down dramatically. "Please say you need a guard for herb collecting or something. Heck, I'll even help you organize if it gets me out of bedding duty."

☬ |Springpaw| Duskclan Apprentice| 8 Moons| Female| T-Wolfstorm, Vulterpas, Open| Mentor: Wolfstorm | Location: Camp|Color Code=#0dbab1|☬

The white and black fluffy she cats eye cluttered open as she heard Wolfstrom tell her and her fellow apprentice vulterpaw to wake up. She felt really drowsy, but reluctantly sat up from where she was sleeping. ”Hunting already, but the patrol hasn’t even gone out yet!” she complained wanting to get more sleep. She looked over at vulterpaw who seemed to still be sleeping and she rolled her eyes. Never wake up a cranky apprentices every warrior knows that. She looked over at wolfstorm. ”I’ll be waiting outside the apprentice den just let me know when you are ready to head out” she meowed and padded out of the apprentices den. The morning breeze touched her fur and it sent a shiver down her spine, it felt wounderful. Dew layer on the grass as the sun started shining it hit the dew and glowed beautifully. She sniffed and finally was able to wake up more than she was back when she was in the den. She walked a few steps away before finding a small drinking puddle and she took a sip feeling refreshed after 4 bulbs.

Lightsong // Warrior, Dawnclan // cream tabby and white tom // Location: Dawnclan camp // Mentions: Hornetpaw, Shadewing, Ravenblaze (ID), Flamepaw and Foxpaw (ID)

So much had happened recently it felt like it had been many moons rather than days. The small tom was already prone to being emotional and all of this had felt like a whirlwind to him. First there was the mysterious harm to cats and the increased two-leg activity, the traps, and everything related. The deputy and a patrol had finally discovered the cause of it: a serval in the cavern. Some sort of beastly cat, still on their territory and in a place no normal cat wanted to tread. Larkclaw had been injured. Not just that, but his sister had gotten caught up in it! Ravenblaze had been returned to them, but the tom was strange now. Not just that, but Turtlesplash had returned, of all things. Then there were the three dead kits, always a bad omen, and nothing felt right around camp at all.

He had tried to dote on his sisters, as Foxpaw could have been killed by the strange cat and then Flamepaw had to see dead kits. They hadn’t taken that well and had shrugged him off repeatedly. He knew it was their age most likely, but it still stung. Otherwise he’d just been out on patrol after patrol, hunting or marking, and he felt overall exhausted. Even his whiskers were tired, he was sure of it.

But instead of moping in his nest, he was too curious. He had always had a fascination with the medicine cats and now that Ravenblaze had returned, he wanted to know more of what happened. Maybe get some insight from Hornetpaw too, to make sure everything would be okay, that Starclan hadn’t sent any warnings their way.

So he padded into the medicine cat den, overhearing Shadewing talking to his medicine cat cousin. It wasn’t that interesting, so he tuned it out. He cleared his throat instead and sat down, prepared to be patient if needed. “Hello. I was wondering if I could speak to you, or Ravenblaze? Nothing’s wrong, I was just seeking advice.” He paused and then added nervously, “If you aren’t busy, of course.” His tail twitched at his side.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: Nursery - center of Duskclan camp|Mention(s) Directly: Cattlekit, Springpaw, Wolfstorm|Mention(s) Indirectly: Nightfall, Vulturepaw, Sootwhisker

Owlfeather let out a sigh, the morning sun had just managed to snake its way into the nursery. It had only been two days, since she had moved in and it still felt strange. Getting to her paws, the siamese she-cat let out a large yawn. Her eyes drifted over to Nightfall, she looked practically ready to burst. Maybe the queen would even give birth today. Moving her paw, she lightly nudged Cattlekit. The kit always seemed to switch nests in the middle of the night, Owlfeather could've sworn that the young kit had gone to sleep cuddled up next to Nightfall. Letting out a sigh, the deputy gently picked up the young kit by its scruff. Hopefully not waking it, the expecting queen lay the young kit down next to Nightfall.
Hearing a few voices outside, the deputy turned to leave. It was time for her, to get about her duties. Pushing through the ivy hanging over the nursery, Owlfeather shivered as the dew soaked into her short fur. Owlfeather took a long stretch, once she made it outside. Shaking the dew off her fur, the deputy gave her fur a quick wash. Like every morning, Owlfeather studied her stomach, it was strange to imagine that there where kits growing in her. Shaking out her fur, the siamese she-cat looked to the center of camp. Some of the warriors were already up, good. As she made her way down the hill, the she-cat noticed that Wolfstorm went into the apprentice den. He friend was already up early, maybe she could assign her to a patrol. "Brambletail, Fawnpelt!", Owlfeather called, getting the warriors attention, "I want the two of you to go and patrol the border, stay sharp", the deputy advised, as the two warriors headed out. Looking to the apprentice den again, as someone came out, Owlfeather nodded her head to Springpaw. Turning, the deputy moved to the fresh-kill pile. It was getting low. Picking up a stale mouse, the deputy sat herself down and, picking at the meager scrap of meat, waited for Wolfstorm. She would probably assign the warrior to go out and hunt, along with Springpaw of course and Sootwhisker. It would probably be good idea, for Vulturepaw to join them as well.

⇺ [ Hornetpaw ] ⇻
18 Moons • Male • DawnClan • Medicine Cat Apprentice
Location: Camp • Mentions: Shadewing, Lightsong (Directly) / most other characters (indirectly/vaguely)

Only two days had passed since Ravenblaze came home and a number of other incidents occurred, and yet Hornetpaw felt as if he’d aged several moons. So many cats were still grieving the loss of loved ones or else left traumatized by recent events, if not both, and Hornetpaw’s determination to make himself available to every single one of them left him feeling worn and emotionally spent. The young tom had seemingly grown accustomed to masking his own weariness, however, or any other negative emotion for that matter.

Once Ravenblaze revealed he was relinquishing his role as the medicine cat and no longer had the knowledge to even finish training him Hornetpaw had accepted things were going to change and he would have to change with them. Rising from his nest at the first hint of dawn, Hornetpaw prepared to make his rounds when rustling at the den entrance signified he had a guest. Turning to greet whoever had entered, he found himself face-to-face with his cousin, similarly taking a step back to avoid the collision. He smiled warmly at the other tom, a soft purr filling his throat as they wound around one another.

He was unsurprised by the explanation for his kin’s visit. “Gingerstar will forgive you with time,” he replied sympathetically. “And things could be worse, you could be Turtledplash,” he added lightly. Hornetpaw was unsure how he felt about the tortoiseshell’s return, but he did find keeping her watched at all times under the threat of death if she made one wrong move unnecessary and it wasn’t an opinion he bothered hiding. "I'll have to inform Gingerstar, and she’ll likely want another warrior to accompany us.” While Gingerstar’s new rules felt smothering and restricting he understood there was a reason for them, especially in regards to him. He was the only medicine cat DawnCan had now and couldn’t afford to put himself through any unneeded risks.

'If she agrees, I’m more than happy to have your assistance, and worry not, I’ll give you plenty of work to do,” he added, giving Shadewing a playful nudge with his paw. Lightsong’s appearance saw his attention shift to the new arrival, and upon requesting advice his response was instantaneous. “Of course Lightsong, make yourself at home. I’ll be with you in a moment.”

“Duty calls. Wait out in camp for me and I’ll be with you soon as I can,” Hornetpaw told Shadewing before settling down in front of Lightsong, waiting a moment to ensure they had some privacy before encouraging Lightsong to speak. “What’s on your mind?”

⇺ [ Turtlesplash ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • Former Kittypet
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Gingerstar, Shadewing, Scorchwing, Swiftclaw, Patch (Indirectly)

Rejoining DawnClan had gone about as disastrously as expected, and yet Gingerstar’s ruthless declaration she would be killed if she so much as moved without permission had still proven a shock. Turtlesplash had expected violence if she was rejected, but the possibility of death? Not once. It made her all the more confident sending Patch to DuskClan had been the right decision. The large calico might not have survived the encounter otherwise. While she was regretful Scorchwing and Shadewing were punished for bringing her to camp, she made no move to speak with either during the two days she was under guard. It would be better for both to not have any further association with her.

She accepted Gingerstar’s harsh conditions with stride, always doing as she was asked with quiet dignity and not a single complaint offered as she awaited judgment. Turtlesplash hadn’t the chance to speak to Gingerstar about her dreams and wouldn't try. Would she even believe her? Perhaps it wasn’t important. She knew inside StarClan had wanted her to return and that was enough. It would have to be enough. The disdainful glances and snide remarks of her Clanmates appeared to have little effect on her, her reaction little more than an inscrutable stare. What did sting was the cold shoulder she received from her mother and brother. Neither Swiftclaw nor Wolfsong once looked her way, both pointedly ignoring her.

'I came back for you!' She wanted to yowl after them, but she admitted their anger was justified. She was the one who left. The love and support of her family was likely too much to expect or hope for. Currently, the she-cat lay in her temporary nest, if you could call the patch of grass she currently sheltered in such, with her guards in tow waiting for further instructions.

⇺ [ Spiderpaw ] ⇻
10 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Apprentice
Location: DuskClan Camp • Mentions: Blackstar, Owlfeather, Wolfstorm, Vulturepaw, Springpaw, Cattlekit

Spiderpaw woke to the sound of Wolfstorm calling for Springpaw and Vulturepaw, blinking sleep from his eyes as a long yawn stretched his jaws. Ordinarily, the black and gray splotched tom would have been up and about already, but the past few days had felt especially draining even without being directly involved in any of the drama. He could tell with just a glance over the past few days that Blackstar was feeling drained and stressed. It was honestly a bit unsettling. Spiderpaw idolized the one-eyed tom and had rarely witnessed him in such a state.

“Morning everyone,” he greeted jubilantly, extending his front legs and toes in a luxurious stretch before sliding out of his nest. Copper colored eyes slid to Vulturepaw, the smaller tom yet to move from his own nest. Despite being an overall friendly young cat Spiderpaw had never bonded with any of his fellow apprentices, his fervent desire to constantly train combined with preferring the company of adult cats, specifically Blackstar or Nightfall, keeping him from forming any lasting friendships. Over the past two days, he’d made efforts to pal around with Vulturepaw regardless of how grumpy he proved, hoping to cheer him up.

“See you later Vulturepaw,” he commented, inching closer to him to give his shoulder a friendly nudge with his head. “Maybe we can spar or something later!” Brushing against Wolfsong on his way outside, he bounded toward what remained of the fresh-kill pile before selecting a few mice and heading off toward the nursery. Owlfeather was just leaving as he wormed his way inside, setting the mice at Nightfall’s paws. Her bulging belly sent a rush of excitement through him as it often did these days. Initially, he was resentful she could no longer be his mentor, but now his training was overseen by Blackstar himself and the notion of new life in the Clan was hard to begrudge.

“You look as if you’re going to burst Nightfall! I bet you’ll have your kits any day now! Oh, oh! You know what would be absolutely delightful? I’ll be a warrior by the time they’re ready to be apprenticed. Perhaps I could mentor one of them? Wouldn’t that be outstanding?” He asked, bouncing around her nest in an excited circle. Nightfall was used to her former apprentice’s boisterous antics, but he really was a bit much sometimes. She sent him scurrying with a poorly aimed swipe to the flank from her paw, claws sheathed and he caught the hint quick enough. “I can see you’re a grumpy queen Nightfall. Very well, I’ll leave you in peace for now,” he relented. “Think about what I said though.”

Pausing only to offer Cattlekit a friendly lick on the cheek, no doubt having woken the poor kit, he frolicked back into the camp clearing, seeking out Blackstar. When he wasn’t immediately spotable Spiderpaw headed to the leader’s den, peering inside. “Dad...er, I mean Blackstar. You awake in there?” Spiderpaw wasn’t sure he understood Clan cats aversion to calling their parents as such, but in Blackstar’s case, in particular, he assumed it was important he address him by his proper title.

Cloudburst || 26 moons || Female || Dawnclan Warrior/Queen (4 weeks) || Long white fur with dilute tabby calico marks || polydactyl || Location{Dawnclan Camp} || Mentions {directly- Stagkit, Boarkit} {indirectly- }

Cloudburst hadn't slept much during the past two days, she was constantly worried she would wake to two cold, dead kits if she was asleep too long. This lead to her taking short naps and periodically checking the two tiny kittens. She was in the beginnings of one of these many short naps when the sun's rays began to break through the Nursery's walls and penetrated her eyelids. She opened her eyes, revealing somewhat bloodshot chrystal orbits.
The new mother shifted slightly, looking down at her two kits whom already seemed to be building up a bit of fat- though it may not have been super noticeable to anyone else, it gave her hope.
She felt her stomach growl though, and with everyone seeming to be asleep, she would have to leave the kits for a short moment. She shuffled around, trying not to disturb the kits too much as she slowly moved to stand. Cloudburst placed the extra bedding that the kits needed around to ensure they would stay as warm as possible while she was away. Before she left she gave each kit a quick 'kiss'.
She stayed light on her paws as she jogged to the fresh kill pile, picked up the closest prey item and jogged back to the nursery, meal in maw. She quickly snuggled back up the the kits, "Sorry, Momma's gotta eat too though." she chuckled nudging the kittens closer to her before biting into her meal, she groaned at the flavor, it was earthy and just not something she was into, looking at what she had grabbed, she saw it was a mole. That's what you get for not looking at what youre grabbing she thought to herself, forcing the food down and taking another bite, whether she liked it or not, she still had to eat it.

Vulturepaw || 10moons || Male || Duskclan apprentice {Mentor - Redeye (missing)} || short dark brown/black tom with yellow eyes || deformed throat/trachea || Location {Duskclan Camp} || Mentions {directly-Wolfstorm, Springpaw, Spiderpaw} {indirectly-}

Vulturepaw let out a low grown, his natural gravelly voice turned it into more of a growl. "You're not my mentor" he thought, turning his head to face Wolfstorm, His yellow eyes laced with fatigue. "I don't want to go out." He rasped, rolling onto his feet. As much as he didn't want to go out, he understood that his clanmate just wanted to help. He padded out of the den, head hung low, and sat down at the mouth of the apprentice's den.
He looked briefly at Springpaw, but his eyes ultimately landed on Spiderpaw as the apprentice made his way to the Nursery. As much as Vulturepaw would have liked the apprentice before, now he just felt annoyance by the other cats constantly upbeat mood. How could any cat be that happy after loosing so much, then he remembered, though spiderpaw had lost many clanmates, he hadn't found them, nor lost his own mentor- at least not the same way Vulturepaw had. The small tom gave a huff and looked at his paws as he waited, he shot a small prayer to Starclan that Redeye would come back unscathed, but his belief was wearing thin, and the idea that he would never see his mentor again wasn't that far from reality as it seemed right now.

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Camp| Mentions: (Direct) Owlfeather -Open- (Indirect) Clan cats

Sootwhisker was sitting just outside the warrior den, eyes squinting in the early daylight. He had only just crawled out of his nest and needed a moment to readjust to the land of the living. As he groomed his fur a bit, he noticed cats getting their own days started. He watched as apprentices got up to do their duties and warriors got their breakfasts. Among them was the recently announced queen, Owlfeather. The deputy's pregnancy had come as a surprise to him, but he was elated all the same and had been sure to congratulate her when he heard the news. However... Sootwhisker couldn't help but be a bit skeptical about a deputy having kits. If any cat could handle a pregnancy and a deputy's responsibilities at the same time it would be Owlfeather, of course, but that sure sounded like a difficult feat.

Sootwhisker stretched and stared at the fresh-kill pile. There didn't seem to be a whole lot there at the moment. After a moment of hesitance, he sat back down. He wasn't hungry yet anyway, and besides, if he gets hungry while out hunting it oughta give him an edge. Maybe not much of an edge, but a little extra motivation never hurt.
Grrrrumble .....looks like he'll need to eat after all. The tom stood and headed to the pile at a brisk trot, already eyeing his options from a distance. By the time he got there, he had set his sights on a little wren that looked appetizing enough. Pawing it from the pile he flicked Owlfeather's shoulder with his tail in greeting. "Morning, Owlfeather. Feeling well?" As he chatted idly he bent down to sniff the bird before digging in. The meat wasn't terribly tough. Must've been one of the fresher kills.

Blackstar|Leader of Duskclan|One eyed Black Tom|Location: Camp|Mentions: Owlfeather, Sootwhisker, Spiderpaw (id) all apprentices and their mentors
Blackstar was still curled in his den when the rest of the camp started to awaken. He had been taken to guarding, or patroling the night shifts and it was starting to catch up to the tom. Yet, sleep was not going to be on the Agenda, as the energetic mew of Spiderpaw rang in his ears. Pulling his head from where it had been tucked under his tail, Blackstars single eye opened, blinking a few times to adjust to the light that came in from the entrance.
"I am now." He mewed, only a little gruffly as he forced himself from the moss, giving a stretch as he padded out into the camp, and to where Spiderpaw stood.
Blackstar looked down at his kin, his face not unkind, but not necessarily fatherly as he observed the unique tom. His coat was so similar to his mothers, a stark reminder of the cat who had left so many moons ago. Yet, Spiderpaws energy was a bit infectious, and he turned his gaze away, signaling with his tail for the apprentice to follow suit as he angled his pathway towards Owlfeather. He seemed to be walking a bit different around his deputy after the announcement that she'd be having kits, and while it was nearly imperceptible, it seemed his attitude had grown more guarded toward the cat he had once been almost uniquely soft towards. As he neared, he gave a nod to both Owlfeather and Sootwhisker, who had approached the she-cat just before he did.
"We should get some hunting patrols out." he mewed, not wanting to interrupt the new warrior, but knowing that idle chatter could come afterwards.
"And we need to assess the apprentices fighting techniques. It will be easier to do them at once, they can pair up. " He paused, looking around the camp. It seemed smaller than ever.
"Either order, it doesn't matter to me." He mewed to his deputy, his moment of letting her make the call showing that he still trusted her decision making despite all the stress of the past few days.

Frost |Old Med-cat,Duskclan|white and gray she-cat|Location: Duskclan Camp|Mentions: Patch, Dustpelt
Frost had been watching the clan awaken from the outside of the medicine-cat den, a passive expression across her face. It was unsettling at the least for her to be back in the clan she had left, as if nothing had changed. Even the den, where she had spent many moons, had the same look and smells as it always did. Event hough she had learned the names of the new cats, they even felt like the faces she had been so close to before. Frost shuddered, shaking her head. She had to keep reminder herself, she was not a clan cat. She was for those that needed aid, she was not under Duskclans oaths. Blinking the shadows that had fallen across her gaze away, she rose to her paws, turning her attention toward where Patch, the stranger who had torn into their territory, had been allowed to nest. She could see Dustpelt standing'guard' even if Blackstar didn't openly admit thats what the warriors who were always stationed nearby were doing.
Padding towards the tangle of roots, she approached the dusty tom.
"Dustpelt. I want to give Patch a few herbs. Why don't you go check on Weaselflight? " It was clearly not a suggestion, as her smooth tone was clearly dismissing the tom, even if it wasn't necessarily something she was allowed to do. Dustpelt however, just blinked and shrugged.
"Sounds good to me." He peered at Patch, unsure if the tom was sleeping or not before giving a flick of his tail, trotting cheerfully towards the warriors den.
Frost on the other hand, moved forward to either give the stranger notice that she was there, or wake the cat up. After all, she wouldn't get much sleep now that the clan was waking up, not in her current nest at least.
"I know we got the flea situation controlled, but I wanted to give you a check over, and make sure you're healthy elsewhere. Blackstar will probably want to know how much longer your staying." She mewed briskly, as usual, unphased and straightforward in her words.

Dustpelt|Warrior of Duskclan|Leggy Calico Tom|Location: Duskclan Camp|Mentions: Patch, Harepaw, Weaselflight

Though his job was sopossed to be 'keeping watch' it was clear that Dustpelts mind was elsewhere. either in daydreams of forests filled with prey, or imaginary scenarios that only the tom could come up with. So when Frost dismissed him from his post, he was more than eager to go. Though he would had said a goodbye to Patch, Frost's stare put him on edge and he merely bounded off without much of a word, skirting the warriors that were gathering to aim towards the Warriors den.
"Weaselflight! If you're in there, you best wake up!" The tan warrior had been on a bit of a lack of duties lately, due to Frosts orders that he let his injured claw heal least he make it worse. So, Dustpelt had been feeling a bit missing, without his usual friend by his side. He didn't really peer into the den that hard, before trotting towards the apprentice den.
"Haaarepaw!" he mewed, again far more chipper than most, except perhaps Spiderpaw.
"If you're in there, I'm sure you'd love to figure out what your days agenda isss." He pratcially sang the words, pracing infront of the den, knowing he was probably waking up even the cats who had been out late. With that however, he trotted back towards the main part of the camp, standing off of the main group, but still close enough to be involved if needed.

Foxpaw|Apprentice of Dawnclan|Small Ginger Tabby She-cat|Location: Dawnclan camp|Mentions: Lightsong, Turtlespash, Umbraclaw

Foxpaw was already out and about in camp, the last remains of a feathery breakfast strewn about her paws. After the excitment of the Cavern, things around camp seemed exceptionally dull to the apprentice. Her energy, which had sparked at the confrontation of the Serval had started to wane, and even the daydreaming of sinking her claws into the large cat, and even the sensation she had gotten at the mysterious Cavern, were not quite enough to sate her. Giving a sigh, she turned her attention upwards, watching as Lightsong entered the medicine-cat den. Her sharp eyes narrowed slightly, just barely resisting the urge to roll. There were the two cats who never ceased to stop treating her like a kit. Be it because of kinship, or duty, she wasn't sure.

Turning her attention away from the den, she glanced around, looking for Umbraclaws dark pelt. It wasn't exactly an intensive search however, and after a brief glance about Foxpaw gave up on the venture. At the thought of her mentor, her claws instinctively dug at the earth. The deputy had praised her, told her she had followed orders well during the incident at the Cave and yet, it hadn't filled her with pride. Instead, it had made her whiskers prickle. Once, she had wanted nothing more than her deputy, her mentors respect. However with each passing day, it was as if the layers of Dawnclan she had once believed in were being stripped away, revealing the cracked understructure below. Loyalty, it was a fickle thing. At least Gingerstar seemed to still uphold some sort of honor, but Foxpaw had to wonder, was their leader loyal to Dawnclan, Starclan, or something else entirely? When one was at the top, where did they lie in the tangled web of devotion.
Tail twitching, she let herself stew in the thoughts for a while, before she couldn't sit still any longer. Raising to her paws, she targeted the first thing that came into her sight, Turtlesplash awake but in her nest, per-usual with her guards nearby. Foxpaw didn't seem to care however, though a twinkle of something could be seen deep in her gaze. She angled towards the fresh-kill pile, plucking a skinny, but viable mouse before angling back towards the she-cat.
"Here." she mewed, putting down the prey and nudging it forward with her paw, before settling down on her haunches with an unreadable expression as she gaze unblinkingly at the once clan, now clan again cat.

Owlfeather|Duskclan|Deputy|36 Moons Old|Siamese She-Cat|Location: |Mention(s) Directly: Blackstar, Sootwhisker|Mention(s) Indirectly: Spiderpaw, Nightfall, Cattlekit, Springpaw, Wolfstorm, Vulturepaw

The deputy looked up from her half eaten mouse, as Sootwhisker came up to her. It was good to see the tom, he seems to have gotten used to being a warrior too, this made his former mentor very happy. Owlfeather gave the young warrior a smile and nod, "Well enough, Cattlekit's keeping Nightfall and myself on our paws", the she-cat answered with a small chuckle. "How have you been, now that you're a warrior?", Owlfeather asked, giving her former apprentice a nudge. Leaning down, she swallowed the rest of the mouse, it felt dry and heavy in her stomach.
Hearing familiar paw steps coming closer, the deputy looked up. Getting to her paws, Owlfeather dipped her head in greeting to Blackster. The she-cats blue eyes drifted over to Spiderpaw, it was good to see the apprentices happiness, the clan deffently needed it. Her dark ears flicked, as the black tom spoke. "I understand", the she-cat said, nodding her head in agreement. "I would suggest sending some hunting parties out first and then assessing the apprentice, once they have full bellies", Owlfeather said. "I was actually just about to send out a hunting patrol, consisting of Sootwhisker, Springpaw, Wolfstorm, and Vulturepaw", the deputy added, tapping her former apprentices shoulder, as she said his name. Before the leader could ask, why she would send so many cats out in one hunting patrol, the siamese she-cat said, "I believe it would benefit the apprentices to see two different styles of hunting, Wolfstorm's who is bigger and stronger and Sottwhisker's who is smaller and faster."
Owlfeather looked to the apprentice den again, Vulturepaw had come out, where was Wolfstorm? the deputy wondered.

Flamepaw|Dawnclan|Apprentice|13 Moons Old|Ginger She-Cat|Location: Camp|Mention(s) Directly: OPEN|Mention(s) Indirectly: Foxpaw, Turtlesplash, Umbraclaw, Gingerstar

Flamepaw stretched out in her nest, splaying her paws, a large yawn came to her face. The she-cat slowly opened her eyes, sunlight immediately hit them and she closed her eyes again. Flamepaw put a paw over her face, annoyed. She really needed to fix that stupid hole, getting into a sitting position, Flamepaw opened her jaw in a large yawn. It as later than normal, but she'd been part of the dusk patrol, so the she-cat thought she had a right to sleep a bit longer.
Getting fully to her paws, the fluffy ginger tabby apprentice looked outside. The rest of the clan seemed to mostly awake, so many voices could be heard from outside. If she stayed in here any longer, she'd probably get into trouble. Letting out a sigh, Flamepaw stood up on tired legs. Slowly walking out of the den, Flamepaw looked around. Her eyes first fell on Foxpaw, her littermate had seemed to bring some prey to Turtlesplash. Shaking out here ever messy fur, Flamepaw looked to the fresh-kill pile.
Feeling her stomach give a deep grumble, the ginger tabby she-cat walked over to the meager pile. It was strange, even though it was the prime season for prey, they seemed to be hard to find. Grabbing a skinny squirrel, Flamepaw walked over to a sunny spot. Lying down, the young she-cat started to eat her prey. As she did, Flamepaw started to think. Maybe she could ask Gingerstar or Umbraclaw, if she could go out and run? She had already stumbled upon that secret route, maybe there where more. Even though she was not yet fully awake, the thought made her paws tingle with excitement. Raising her eyes, she looked to Turtlesplash, "Isn't it stupid, guarding her like that? It only weakens us and is she not a member of Dawnclan, they're treating her like a Duskclan prisoner", Flamepaw though, well actually she said all of this outloud.

⇺ [ Turtlesplash ] ⇻
24 Moons • Female • Former Kittypet
Location: DawnClan Camp • Mentions: Foxpaw, Flamepaw, Gingerstar

Foxpaw’s approach saw Turtlesplash lift herself into a sitting position, eyes flicking between her assigned guards for any indication they disapproved. Falconstrike’s single eye remained trained on her and Embergaze had a nasty look on her face, but neither cat protested the action. Allowing herself to relax a fraction, she wore a genial expression as a scrawny mouse was laid at her paws. Privately, Turtlesplash was more than a little suspicious of the younger she-cat’s intentions. “Your generosity is appreciated, but I will not eat until every other cat has had their fill, and not without Gingerstar’s permission,” she commented firmly.

“Perhaps one of the queens or your medicine cat can make use of it instead,” she added, gently nudging the mouse back toward Foxpaw. If this was a test of some sort she wouldn’t be caught choosing the wrong option, and on the off chance it had simply been a kind gesture there wasn’t much harm done by refusing prey in favor of ensuring another warrior was fed first. Flamepaw’s abrupt verbal observations saw her head tilting toward her, surprise evident on her face. From the looks of it, the ginger apprentice hadn’t yet realized she’d spoken aloud and Turtlesplash didn’t expect her words to be well received by those around her.

⇺ [ Spiderpaw ] ⇻
10 Moons • Male • DuskClan • Apprentice
Location: DuskClan Camp • Mentions: Blackstar, Owlfeather, Sootwhisker

“Sorry, didn’t mean to wake you,” Spiderpaw apologized, though his voice held little sincerity. It wasn’t that he had any desire to deny Blackstar a proper amount of rest, StarClan knew he needed it, but he was clearly keen to get the day started. As the dark-furred leader left his den Spiderpaw rushed to meet him, curved tail raised high in greeting. “Did you sleep well?” The lack of an immediate answer as Blackstar instead made a beeline for Owlfeather didn’t appear to deter his good mood any, instead following at his father’s side.

He listened intently as Blackstar discussed the day’s plans with Owlfeather, interest sparking in his gaze at the mention of assessments. He flexed his toes, claws scoring the ground. “I’m so ready! Wait until you see what I can do. Nightfall’s taught me well,” Spiderpaw boasted. “You too, of course,” he added to Blackstar. His expression visibly dropped once Owlfeather suggested patrols be carried out first, but he offered no objections. He could be patient. Often the best things in life required waiting. “What will we do then?” Spiderpaw questioned Blackstar once Owfeather listed the cats who would attend the hunting patrol.

Umbraclaw|Deputy of Dawnclan|Black Mollie|Location: Camp|Mentions: Gingerstar (Ind) Larkclaw, Turtlesplash

Umbraclaw had just finished eating a vole in a shadowy part of the campgrounds. The deputy had always preferred the welcoming embrace of the night to the light of day. The darkness always sheltered and concealed her thanks to her pitch black hide blending seamlessly into it's shadowy depths. Which is why whenever she wanted to be left alone, she would seek out refugee in the shadows like she did right now. At this time she had wanted to eat her meal in peace as she silently gave her thanks to Starclan for Larkclaw's improved health and debated what could do done about their uninvited guest Turtlesplash.

In truth it wasn't entirely true that she wanted to be alone as she would rather enjoy Gingerstar's company. After that chaotic day had passed, Gingerstar had calmed down and things were back to normal between them. However she didn't want to seek out her dear friend until she at least had some sort of suggestion regarding how to deal with Turtlesplash.

Then suddenly an idea would occur to her, though she wasn't too thrilled with it, but it was still ultimately an idea. So with that she would bury the remains of the vole before getting up and seeking out Gingerstar. Upon finding Dawnclan's leader, she would call out to her with. "Gingerstar, might I spend a bit of time with you? I also have an idea on what to do with Turtlesplash if you would like to hear it."

| Wolfstorm | 38 Moons | Female | Duskclan Warrior |
Location: Duskclan camp- Apprentice den
Mentions: Springpaw, Vulturepaw, Owlfeather, Blackstar, Spiderpaw

"The prey doesn't wait for the dawn patrol, Springpaw. Sometimes getting up early is the best way to get the good prey." She dipped her head, letting the apprentice go outside to wait. As Vulturepaw snipped at her and walked away, she decided to let it go for now, but talk to him again later. She sighed heavily and headed back outside to meet up with Springpaw. She noticed Blackstar speaking with Owlfeather, but the deputy caught her eye, flicking her tail in order to call her over. She caught the tail-end of what Blackstar was saying and looked over at Springpaw, offering her a sly wink as if to tell her "You'll do great". Once Blackstar had finished, she spoke.

"Good morning Blackstar, Owlfeather, Spiderpaw." She looked at each in turn, then dipped her head. "I couldn't help but overhear that we're going hunting?" It seemed like Blackstar wasn't interested in sticking around longer, though Wolfstorm couldn't really blame him. He must be quite busy with everything going on in the clan. "I'm afraid Vulturepaw doesn't yet seem inclined to join us." There was a hint of irritation in her tone, but more concern than anything. Perhaps someone else would be able to help them get Vulturepaw back on his paws a bit more. "Springpaw and I are ready to get going, however."

| Shadewing | 20 Moons | Male | Dawnclan Warrior |
Location: Camp
Mentions: Hornetpaw, Lightsong, Turtlesplash

Shadewing purred in response to his cousin's greeting, but grumbled all the same. "Forgiveness or not, I'll still be cleaning out soiled moss for the next three moons!" He laughed as his cousin teased him. "Even if you put me to work, it's better than cleaning dens and cracking fleas." He stretched out, hauling himself to his feet once more. As lightsong entered Hornetpaw's den, Shadewing figured he'd want to let them have space.

"Good morning Lightsong." He chirped good-naturedly before headbutting his cousin's shoulder playfully. "See you in a few, take your time, I haven't even eaten breakfast yet." He headed outside towards the fresh-kill pile. He caught a glimpse of Turtlesplash out of the corner of his eye, but for now he was giving her space. It would be easier on both of them until she was either let back in the clan or forced to leave again. He DID hope she would be allowed to stay, starclan knew the clan needed the strong warriors. Hopefully Gingerstar wouldn't allow personal vendettas to impact the decisions made for the whole clan. He picked out a small songbird that someone had managed to catch, carrying it over to a patch of sunlight to eat. He stretched out a bit, enjoying the warmth on his back.

Ashcreek | Warrior of DawnClan | Tall Grey and Orange Tom with 2 extra toes | Location: DawnClan Camp | Mentions: Turtlesplash, Foxpaw| Indirect: Swiftclaw

Ashcreek lingered in the main part of camp. His eyes were closed as he reflected on what had happened in the last few days. His daughter had returned. But why? Swiftclaw was ignoring Turtlesplash but he didn't know what to do himself. He felt something spew up through him but ignored the feeling. He should'nt feel it. Why did he feel it for her?

He finally let himself open his eyes and approach the place she was being kept. He glanced at the guards and then Foxpaw. His eyes finally settled on the tortoiseshell. "Turtlesplash." he said quietly.

Sootwhisker | Duskclan Warrior | 13 moons | Small, gray tabby tom | Location: Duskclan Camp| Mentions: (Direct) Owlfeather, Blackstar, Wolfstorm (Indirect) Vulturepaw, Spiderpaw

Sootwhisker was ready to answer around a mouthful of bird, but as Blackstar approached, he gratefully took the opportunity to finish his food while barely listening to what the leader had to say, assuming the words were for Owlfeather. However, his attention was drawn back to the conversation as the deputy mentioned his name and tapped his shoulder, and he quickly looked back up. The bird gone, Sootwhisker swiped his tongue over his whiskers as he nodded in agreement. Hunting with the apprentices in tow could turn out to be interesting, and maybe Vulturepaw would prove to be a little more like his old self. The dark apprentice seemed to be in a permanently miffed mood, and he never seemed interested in talking to Sootwhisker as of late. The gray tom had wondered if his friend held some blame against him for what happened to Redeye. Sootwhisker tried not to think about it.

The deflated expression on Spiderpaw's face was almost laughable and Sootwhisker was sorry he had missed whatever part of the conversation had put it there. The confident apprentice seemed to quickly perk up, though, so whatever had him down must not have been so terrible. Sootwhisker rather liked Spiderpaw, even if his incredibly upbeat and talkative nature grated on his nerves from time to time, and he may well grow out of that. At the very least, the apprentice was usually around when he was needed and that was good enough for him. Sootwhisker stood and stretched as Wolfstorm greeted the others. At the mention of Vulturepaw, the tom's eyes darted to where the apprentice sat in front of his respective den. "I can't imagine he'd really want to be stuck in the camp all day," he huffed at the mention of Vulturepaw's reluctance. Hopefully, the small tom wouldn't want to hold them up for too long.
