Despite having been caught out of the camp just a half-moon ago, Shadowpaw and Flowerpaw stepped out of the camp as apprentices. The siblings looked at each other with grins, before splitting up to follow their respective mentors.

Shadowpaw was given a tour of the territory and successfully learned the Patrol skill! He may now join border patrols!
Moonheart and Fernfrost had an encounter with a Twoleg while on patrol! Thankfully neither cat was hurt, and they both got away from the twoleg successfully.
Mothspirit gathered x1 Wood Sorrel
Echospirit's patrol caught x2 owls and a raccoon!
Flowerpaw started her hunting training, although she didn't catch anything, she did learn the Track skill! She can now join Search for Cat patrols!

As Peccaryfang stalked the fox, she knew that her clanmates would have her back. It had been...hard at first, adapting both to clan life and life in the desert. But now, she trusted her clanmates, more than just with her life, but with her everything. They'd hunted together so often, that even Sharpstone, who was new, could be counted upon to do his part in the hunt. This was what it meant to be a clan cat.

But he didn't just want another cat, he wanted a great protector, like the cats of old. Towering giants with heavy manes, dark stripes, or sleek spots. As he made his way across the mountains, Citrinestar paused, sensing something new in the air. Citrinestar turned, and as the sun rose behind him, he saw a great maned shadow staring down at him, orange and white pelt glowing in the sunlight...

The young feline had been apparently lost in the desert for several days, but had managed to survive off of cactus juice and the leftovers of larger beasts. With some training, the little one would make a fine warrior for the clan. Starclan had truly blessed her with finding them.

She and Beetlepaw were currently crouched above some boulders, watching over a small burrow in a hillside. Several moments passed, and a snake slithered forward. Speaking so softly her voice could not be heard past Beetlepaw's ears, Peccaryfang whispered "Remember, a snake will feel your movements before it sees you. So how do we catch it?"

Beetlepaw responded by deepening his crouch, and leaping forward, claws outstretched to slash at the serpents head.

If one was a bird, one might see two small kittens sneaking away from their mountain home to explore. If one was a bird, one might have attacked these kittens, and snatched them away from their mother without a soul knowing what was happening.

But one was not a bird, in fact, one was not even one. one was two. Two very sneaky kits as they crept their way away from camp. As Calcitekit and Achoritekit looked at each other, they couldn't help but giggling. They were the greatest explorers ever!
