Yeah, "dying out" my ass, I just got to the tc to look for currency trades, to see if people are looking for stuff I have for sale, and lo and behold - yet another few people blocked just so I don't see the trades like this. And it's not even 1sb to expensive things anymore. They got smart and are trying to pass as "50sb to riches", "1GB to 100GB" etc. And while I am glad some started realizing that the 1sb is annoying people, it's still a pain in the ass. Paperclip challenge is a for of veiled begging and many places, especially games, see it as one.

And yet here the only answer we get from the devs and mods is "Well, we allowed it before, we are allowing it now too, you can keep the suggestion up and maybe we will look at it. Meanwhile just block/ignore them :)". Why do we have to block half of the userbase in order to not be subjected to people actively breaking the no begging rule, while people get hit with "funneling" when family or friends send them stuff just because they want to send it.

This is just straight up devs ignoring a huge problem just because they think blocking will solve everything. It won't. Make the damn trades reportable, make them against the rules - we will then report and be on our merry way, without having to block everyone. Or give people a place to go with their "challenge" aka forums, and make it clear that it's the only place where those can go to. People who want to take part in it then will be able to go there and have it easier on them too to look for what they want to find.

It was fun at first. But seeing "what can I get for 1 sb? What can I get for 1gb? 1gb towards dwarfs, tigon, leopon, becomes annoying." This is also clogging up the trading system.

it's sad to see people joining the game and straight up wanting free items instead of trying to play for a little see what the game is about trying earning it themselves just by selling food, event currency, explore goodies. My first interaction when i was new was just exploring every day and selling food,cave material,nesting material so on.. you can earn about 2000sb or 2gb just on food everyday let alone other goodies from explore but there are also crossroad games like Sergenti Shuffle where you get nice items worth from 1-4 gb depending on what you get. just don't get the "1sb to_? trades" in fact it would be better if they actually traded off bulk of explore goodies or exp items from games then offering literally nothing. My opinion maybe they don't know i'm not sure we should make an kind of "Newbie Tutorial" in forums to show them easy and fair ways of getting currency.

@Eviless if you're dedicated enough, you can get a buffy a day in this month's event shop. That's 30 buffies, that by October will sell for 24gb each- even if you're only online enough to get say, five buffies, you can still sell that for 100+. Repeat that for next month's gmo cows, and October's crunchies, and you'll be able to buy a hybrid, or even multiple, within the year. They're just lazy, wanting other people to do their work for them.

yes i do know that i just made an example of quite obvious ways getting currency tho not all events contain such big items and it takes time to get bones about 4-5 days maybe more since they are new probably don't have energy boosts or exp items to lvl up fast and get energy, also this isn't your regular breeding game and quite complicated to understand for the first if you don't look it up first.

I haven't used energy boosts or exp items, and I've gotten six buffies (set to get another one today) so far, or one every two days, and I haven't been rushing or anything. That could get 15/16 buffies, which could sell for a huge amount, and like I said, 5 buffies (which is less than every 5 days) is 100gb. And almost every event has valuable stuff- plenty of people will sell gons, pons, dus, dwarves for apps, which November, December, March, June and July all have, even if those don't have breeding items (excluding Mukombero). And April has items helpful for energy, which can help you with future events. Plus most of the people doing these have been around since at least March/April, looking at the date they joined. Some have been around since 2021.

Well, we got now a button to hide them in tc... Which still lists them as hidden trades aka you still have to scroll through all of that and it's still people begging freely with the blessing from admins. This game is digging its own grave at this point.

Not sure what you mean by that, the trades I've hidden don't show up upon the next refresh/visit to TC. I think it's a nice solution. ^^

IDK What to tell you guys anymore, if you're so bothered by a literal trade that isn't even harming you and isn't offensive or against the rules, I heavily suggest you just get over it and ignore them because its getting sad at this point
