Make up your mind Cobra.” She said his name mockingly. “You can have the silly old den. It’s a shithole anyway.” She looked to Nire, “He’s not even worth a fight.”

((I like that idea! That way they can build their own life. And Cobra definitely has a shot at joining them, but he has to get his act together first. And I tried hinting at it, but Lyla is 2 months pregnant so they only have about a month before she has to settle in.))

Cobra sighed out of frustration "you approuched me with a aggressive posture" he said, taking a deep breath to keep his cool "And theres absolutely no way you guys are realted, you smell nothing alike, and look nothing alike, not to be rude but im just saying"

Nire was relieved that Lyla agreed with her, as she was kind of flying by the seat of her pants over this encounter. Though, in all honestly, she mostly said it as a bluff to possibly make the male lose interest if he assumed the area was abandoned. It seemed she unintentionally made her bed with joining this lionesses pride and how she had to sleep it it. At least for now, she wouldn't go back on her word on helping the Lyla find a more suitable home. Whether she stayed in the end was yet unseen however.

Pointless indeed. Nire grumbled, noting that the lion, who had finally introduced himself as Cobra, was finally realizing he wasn't getting anywhere with them and was starting to back pedal. If reluctantly, still trying to get the one up on them. He was rather delusional though. Neither of them approached him aggressively. There was a difference between aggressive and defensive.

At least he was able to point out the obvious, kudos to him. Sticking her nose in the air at the 'not sisters' comment when Lyla approached her side she pressed her face against the lioness and rubbed her scent on her. Lets go, sister. Let this roamer keep company with more polite individuals as we aren't wanted here. She hissed before walking off, giving a few casual back kicks in his direction to signify how she was done with him.

(Lol, kitty litter kicks, buuuurn. Anywho, trying to think of ways he can get back into their good graces without him kissing their arses. Cause I really think neither of them are typically this bitter. I don't think it would be very hard, at least to temper their hostility)

She turned to follow Nire, passing the male once more, flicking her tail at him as she did so. She was no longer alone. This lioness didn’t even know her and yet she stuck by her side.

Picking up the pace, she padded up to Nire. “Thank you.” She bumped her head into Nire’s shoulder playfully. She smiled at her and laughed, “We could have taken him together. Pesky male lions and thinking any lion would fall for him.” She looked back at the male as they walked on. “I feel a little bad for him. Being alone can be rough, even for a male. But…” she paused, “He had better get over that ego if he truly wants to build a pride.”

"Hyenas!" he shouted after them "Theres a large pack of hyenas, at least be careful they arent to friendly this time around!". Hyenas, he thought, pesky creatures indeed they were, two lionesses would not be able to take on the amount he could smell, but warning them is a good dead on his end, or so he thought it was.

She looked back at the male, “We’ll take our chances.” And with that they padded off.

Night began to fall and the two lionesses were still without a den and the male was right about hyenas. Best to lay low for the night. She rubbed her head against Nire. “Maybe we should stick by these trees till day?”

Nyota watched the sun set and frowned, still hungry. With a sigh, she kept walking, hoping to find a watering hole or the scent of a injured animal. She spotted some trees and climbed on one, resting her head, stomach rumbling. She was gonna starve by starvation, she knew it. She groaned in despair, hitting her head on the tree bark, before crashing down to the ground, thankfully, it wasn't very high. "..Ouchhhhh" she sighed and rolled over in pain

Cobra,still annoyed, set out to look for a meal. The delightful sent of zebra, not to far from here, crossed his path. He walked for a bit before he finally reached the herd of Zebras. He crouched low and began to prowl among the grass, and with one leap and a good hold on the throat, he killed the zebra merclessly. He began to eat, he was quite happy with his kill.

Rasmus wiggled out of the tiny cave he was in, he seriously should've dug it out more but the scorching sun from yesterday had been overheating him. His ears flicked as he heard the distant sound of cackling and barking, his nose wrinkled as the rancid smell of hyenas came. Rasmus immediately trotted off, he wasn't going to stay in hyena infested lands. He'd seen what a clan of hyenas can do to a rhino, it was a horrible experience. Once he was sure he was far enough he laid down, he knew he had little time to rest that's if those hyenas followed him.

He gnawed on a zebra bone, his large maws broke the bones. He stood up from his meal, leaving the half eaten carcess behind to look for a place to sleep.

She lead Nire to the trees and the two found a place to rest of the base of a large tree. This would have to do for the night. She closed her eyes and let her dreams take over. She needed all the sleep she could get for the morning’s travels.

She awoke in the morning and stretched her legs out, digging her claws in the earth. Nire was still asleep so she let her be, she wouldn’t go far, just to the watering hole to get a drink. The cool morning air his her and she could smell others in the land, hopefully no threats.
