Aphrodite folded her ears, trying to seem harmless. "Are you hungry?" She wanted to be their friend. Heck, maybe... "I have a carcass in my den. I'm Aphrodite."

The female immediately stops snarling and pokes her head out from behind the male, curiosity in her eyes. The male looks at Aphrodite, slightly confused, looks back at the female behind him, then back to Aphrodite.
"Yes, we are, very," the female says finally, taking a few steps out from behind him, "I'm Clove, and this is Ash."
Ash's posture relaxes though he still looks at Aphrodite warily, "thank you," he meows and gives her a curt nod.

Aphrodite turned and flicked her tail, beckoning them. She went to where the carcass was and ripped off 2 good-size chunks for the two tigers. She took a little piece for herself.

Clove follows enthusiastically, a purr breaking out when she sees the carcass. She pulls the chunk toward herself and plops down, "we really appreciate this yanno," she says around a mouthful of meat, her tail swishing from side to side.

Ash nods in agreement as he crouches beside Clove and takes a bite, never taking his eyes off Aphrodite.

Aphrodite raised her arm and licked the wound under it. It had gotten bloody when she was walking, and it was quite nasty. (logging off soon)

Clove noticed the cut on Aphrodite and gasped, "What happened? That looks like it could be infected!" She got up and padded over to inspect the injury.

Aphrodite instinctively took a step back, but raised her arm more to let Clove examine it. "Human. He was trapping pretty birds in cages, so I thought I would stop him from doing so. Didn't go very well. I freed the birds, though. Bet he never did it again after the wounds I gave him," She chuckled.

She thoughtfully sniffed the wound while listening, "I know of some herbs that can help, if you want," she said, sitting beside Aphrodite and throwing a quick glance to Ash. He sat up, licking away the remnants of meat, and nodded.
"Good riddance, humans are so destructive," he said, looking at her thoughtfully.
"I can wait with her while you go look," he said after a few moments of silence, looking back at Aphrodite he added, "If that's okay with you?"

Aphrodite nodded enthusiastically. "Whatever will help this mother forest wound! Agh, it hurts."

Clove purred and quickly got up, "I wont be long!" She called as she trotted into the forest in search of herbs.
Ash stood and padded closer to Aphrodite, settling down beside her.
"That really is a nasty wound," he said, sniffing her foreleg, after a few seconds of silence he continued, "that was kind of you to help those birds though, and kind of you to feed us." He glanced back up at her eyes.

Aphrodite smiled and looked away. "Not really... I just knew that whatever that poacher wanted with those birds wasn't good. And I was just being hospitable."

Ash flicked his ears, "so you're modest, too?" He chuckled a bit, his tail swishing side to side. He gaze traveled around the area, "This is you're den? Its nice," he mumbled.

Clove trotted through the forest, sniffing different plants. Finally she comes across a tall, bristly-stemmed plant and bounds over to it excitedly. She begins to chew off a few stalks, and once she's gathered a sufficient amount, begins to trot back towards Aphrodite and her brother.

Aphrodite's ears perked. "Really? I've been working on it. I found these deer, and when you take the skin off, it makes a nice carpet." She stopped. "Is that weird? That was probably really weird, sorry."

Ash purred, "a little, but it definitely makes it very cozy," he was cut short by the sounds of approaching paw steps. Flicking his ears he sat up, curling his tail over his paws. Clove trotted over, mouth full of plants, he whiskers twitching happily.
"I found so much horsetail!" She purred, dropping the herbs on the ground, "Now, while I chew these up, Ash can clean your wound." She flicked her tail at him as she bent over and picked up a stalk and began to chew.
Ash's whiskers twitched as he bent over, "do you mind?" He asked, his gaze flicking back and forth between Aphrodite, her arm, and Clove.

Aphrodite purred. "Not at all! Thank you so much, Clove. You too, Ash." She laid down, relaxing her arm at last.
