Kittenly, while I understand that point (and also wish I knew the name of some items I see in submissions for my own lions!), that would just lead to copied/stolen submissions unfortunately. People would look at the winner of a certain theme and copy it exactly, and especially if it becomes anonymous, you'll see a bunch of identical submissions. (And also, "troll submissions" mean uploading an empty lion with no markings or decor, or submitting the same design for every theme even if it doesn't match at all just to "grind" gems. And the comments at the end aren't real! Don't worry, no one is actually calling your design mid)

Now for my own suggestion:
When it comes to the ideas you're looking into: While rewards being improved would encourage people to not submit troll submissions, I think the priority should be on that first one of finding a way to remove effortless/troll submissions! As long as everyone tries, and the time spent on the game is lowered, then that's enough for me personally. It would be nice if the 4th place and 200th place didn't earn the same reward, but I think that's secondary to the game working as intended and being fair for everyone!

A little extra thought, tho: beginner players might make submissions that don't look up to the standard of the game, or look messy/unfinished/effortless. They should not be punished for this and I think the "removing effortless submissions" should only be completed and added if it ensures that some genuinely inexperienced players won't be punished for it!

I’m not sure if this was said but I think rankings (first, second, third) should be in tiers. So it’s not 50+ people competing for first. I feel like this could also even out rewards

I also think we need longer entry times, wardrobe I so lagged for me it takes nearly half the given amount just to get the design done (Probably just my wifi) but still lol

I have tried entering from wardrobe,but sometimes it gives me no visible lion,which is an issue when I enter... I do the best design but for some reason,when I go to enter it,the lion disappears and its like I need to use one of my own lions for some reason,maybe it could be fixed?

1) scrolling voting (or page voting like a forum or hoard) x# of entries per page to speed up voting

2) ability to ignore/give 0 stars for entries that have 0 effort (I’ve seen entries that are just a default background and default wardrobe Lion (ashen base & mane.)) This would mean that folks who just toss in the blank wardrobe link without any effort put into the prompt don’t get star influence

3) either remove the randomly generated comments (I think they’re random, not player left??) or allow players to leave comments themselves

4) tiered rewards. (Ex) 1-2 gems for lowest 50%, 3-4 gems for mid 25%, 5-6 for top 25%, 10 for top 3). Better rewards for the higher you rank. If you rank 500/500, lower rewards than if you rank 28/500 which would be lower than 1/500. Higher rank= better rewards, similar to other games in game

5) ability to change the number of stars clicked. I’ve misclicked a few times and have either successfully or unsuccessfully been able to change my vote if I click before the timer runs out. I don’t know if the vote is actually changed, but it would be nice to be able to change the number of stars chosen

6) bugs I’ve noticed
—— design being partially or fully broken
—— Stars for voting don’t always show up as red
—— Designs don’t always refresh/go to the next design if I accidentally click the voting stars twice (this has only happened a few times, may be user error)

I'm not sure if this is an issue I've been having alone, but sometimes, when I enter a lion into the contest, it shows that his mane disappeared. It happens more often than not. So maybe a look at that?

Otherwise, I agree that we should be shown maybe 3 lions at a time, and we pick our favorite!

I’d like if you could additionally get the currency just for voting (and that you don’t need to enter to vote).

It would lower the amount of effortless entries where people are only entering for the currency, and perhaps also make it easier to vote since there would be less entries. It’s not like the prizes are super exclusive or anything.

Because not everyone is good at designing lions. The amount of items, markings, bases, etc. is huge and easily overwhelming. It’s not surprising that some look really bare or half-finished.

I’m also for making voting comparative instead of on a star basis.

I agreed, and I have that problem too @jay.0f.Ac3s, I am seeing another problem but it might just be my phone being weird, when I was trying to decorate my lion for this theme none of the decor specifically made for that mut was working and only a select few decors were working, I tried it on all the primal muts and had the same issue- don't know if it's just me though

i've lately been having an issue with eti, where sometimes when i go to update my wardrobe to fix a mistake, it just doesn't change the submission? another thing: i've seen manes disappear, outlines disappear, mutations disappear, the entire lion disappear, and rarely, sometimes all of the decor disappears off of the lions submitted for voting. has anyone else seen those?

Yes, I experienced a disappearing mane. I did the design with mane braids and mane markings and then no matter what I did, there was a maneless lion in my entry. I tried to reupload my design many times and even recreated it but my entry couldn't just accept a lion with a mane.

My feedback about ETI:
I understand there can be bugs if a new thing is released so I'm not going to criticize it, especially with such funny little game.
I am having fun with these contests, I think a hour is okay time. If it was longer, many people would surely forget about voting and now with a hour of time and a new contest every hour, I think it is nice.
I saw some people complaining about comments and I wasn't a fan of them either, but maybe I'm too old for current young people slang
The only problem with ETI I have is there really should be a way to filter "low effort entries". And by low effort I mean if people upload a gray lion default for a wardrobe and they don't even decorate him or change anything. I know aesthetic is subjective and sometimes an entry may be confused with low effort if it's minimalistic, but I still think this topic is worth to think about it.

I don't mind having to submit a bunch of votes. But I think it might be helpful to

a) have some kind of progress bar like "You have voted 34 out of 100 submissions!" and
b) (since prizes are being adjusted anyways right now) to offer one glam garnet once you have voted for all candidates so people have an incentive to cast votes.

I would really like to still have to option to see/vote for all submissions since I like looking at the designs.

I feel as if we do need longer entry times, it feels like such a rush to to enter most times. There are far too many items to go through and to chose from in that amount of time.

i'm definitely in favor of a percentile system, with something like:
bottom 50%: 1 token
top 50%: 2 tokens
top 25%: 3 tokens
top 10%: 5 tokens
then obviously places 1-3 would have the highest rewards, i'm honestly not sure what the current rate is since i've never placed 1-3 but considering how rare it is out of 150-400 entries... maybe like 10, 15, and 20? these are also just random numbers i thought kind of made sense, admins could implement it with different numbers and i'd still be happy it rewards more fairly.

prices could be tweaked to be slightly more expensive to match the increased prize value, but the rewards system definitely needs adjusting in my opinion. feels bad getting 14th place followed by 250th place and having the exact same prize like you said, it just makes people not want to put effort into submissions.

the actual dress to impress game is on a much smaller scale (13 max i think?), but lioden has game sizes of 150-400 every hour so it just doesn't work as well to reward only the top 3 players.

unrelated from my previous comment, i'd also love if it was 2 hours for both designing and voting. trying to vote through everything while making two designs will take the entire hour if not more :') i realize most people don't try to vote for every design but i tried it once for a lower entry (~160) contest out of curiosity once to see how long it took. it took 40+ minutes between both accounts, if it was a larger contest i probably wouldn't have even finished.

- I would love some sort of indicator in each voting round how many entries there are left for me to vote. Voting for 10mins straight with no info how much is left to do is tiring. Seeing an actual number (e.g. "you voted on 78 entries, 157 left to go!") will make it more bearable

- When you enter the menu to vote, all entries shown should be completely randomized. Right now, when you refresh the page or close & come back, you see the same entry as you did before. Which honestly makes me suspect the order MIGHT be the same for everyone else, thus explaining why sometimes people get literally the last place even though their entries were not "troll" or "low effort"
