Hello, I'm going to lock the following threads and compress it all into here: ETI prize adjustment ETI Voting Overhaul Adjusting reward system for equip to impress Equip to impress suggestions ETI Comment Disclaimer ETI Comments ETI Adjustments Handling bad faith entries in Equip to Impress This thread will be left open: More Categories for ETI! The purpose of this thread is to gather feedback and suggested adjustments for the Equip to Impress game we released on Friday. Some confirmed changes we have made and are currently in the process of testing: * Anonymous voting * Splitting entries into 'batches' or groups so that there's less overall to vote for, and more prizes to be won. Voting shouldn't take as long as it does currently Some changes we are looking into: * Ability to remove troll/no effort submissions * Rebalancing of the rewards Interested in all thoughts/suggestions for anything else relating to the game, but specifically: - How to rebalance the rewards - Overall gameplay improvements Please remember to give constructive feedback! |

If it hasn't been suggested yet, maybe find a way to prevent people from using a jellyfish to make their lion invisible. It seems to be a popular "out" when it comes to the "cover up your lion" challenge or whatever it's called. I can definitely see people using it for other challenges too. It's really easy to cover up your lion when the lion is missing. It also feels like people are just making a single submission for every challenge, and resubmitting it every time that particular challenge is run. I'm not sure how you would prevent that from happening, or if some people think it's unfair to prevent people from doing that. I find it really boring though to see the exact same submissions (or nearly the same thing) every single time. I do know that people with two accounts are submitting the exact same thing twice, but still I don't know how you would prevent that from happening. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Honestly I really don't see either of those as an issue. For one, there are so many submissions every hour I absolutely do not remember what ran the last time I voted on x y z theme. And even if i did recognize it, does it really matter that much? Not everyone has hours and hours a day to sit and make unique designs for every single theme, and it's demoralizing to do so and get a single GG because the taste of the crowd didn't swing your way. Reusing submissions, using the same one on both accounts, imo it's really just not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

For me, reusing designs is lazy, especially if you're reusing the same design for both accounts for the same entry. At the very least, if you want to just reuse the same designs every time, make two different ones for each account respectively. It just seems to limit creativity, which seems to be the opposite of the intentions of this mini game. Even when I play the game, I usually use the randomize feature (unlocking and locking certain markings/decorations) to get a look that I think is nice. It takes like, maybe 10 minutes. The more I do it, the quicker it goes for me as well. I don't have to dig through each decoration option trying to hunt down something that goes with the theme, it just gives me a random marking/decor each time and I decide whether or not I want said marking/decor to stick around. 0 players like this post! I can understand that, but it's a silly minigame with a silly shop. if you see a reused design and dont like that, just vote it 1 star and move on. I don't think it's okay to dictate how others play the game, even less how they play a minigame. 5 players like this post! Like? |

Seconding that I don't think the jellyfish trick should be allowed or encouraged for the "cover the lion" category, since you're not really... covering anything, you're just rendering the lion invisible altogether. It's bad sportsmanship when others are actually trying to make something clever (or at the very least like, pile things on top of the lion art). I think it would be fair to disable or flag the jellyfish item for submissions, since it doesn't take long to just click 1-10 random objects from the list if you just want the entry prize and nothing else. 4 players like this post! Agree that jellyfish shouldn't be allowed for cover the lion submissions, but I think we should be able to use them for all the other categories! 2 players like this post! Like? |

Actually I saw some entries with a really nice use of jellyfish. In mythology contest someone used it to hide the lion and picked a background and decor featuring dragons. It looked good! But more people use this for troll entries unfortunately and when I tried to vote I often saw just a basic background without a lion or any decor. I would prefer not to be forced to give even 1 star to these! 4 players like this post! Like? |

Here's my two cents as someone who has played multiple rounds and is somewhat familiar with games like this (some of this has been shared): 1. The voting system is bad. A select 1 could work as 2nd would be the design with second highest number of votes and likewise with 3rd as people have different opinions. 2. If the voting system isn't changing, a 'progress bar' and skip button need to be added. The progress bar would show how many designs you have voted for and the skip button would allow people to skip the low effort/just background/copycat designs. 3. Bar people from entering the same design with their main and linked account. This could be done via the wardrobe link. 4. Prevent people from entering for the previous round when there's a switch over. 2 players like this post! Like? |

you should blacklist the default wardrobe lion link so people are forced to change something 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Barring the same design via the wardrobe link sounds like a great idea until you realize people can just change something like the eye color of the lion (even better on newborn poses where you can't see them) and boom, new link new submission. Why is it such a deal breaker for people who don't have as much time to throw a cohesive design together to reuse it? It's ONE piece of currency. It takes 13 to get the most expensive decor, an entire day if you manage to play every hour. It takes a minimum of a week to get the markings! Players with less time should not be punished just because some people don't like the way they choose play the game. Edit: typos 2 players like this post! Like? I think reusing designs is perfectly fine! There's only so many good ideas one can come up with for a single theme anyway. If something works, there's absolutely nothing wrong with reusing it imo, especially with the idea that they're going to consistently add more themes, so the chances that you'll land on the same theme over and over to "exploit it" is unlikely. The only thing I have a personal problem with is effortless submissions. Blank lions, or making one design and submitting it in every theme. 0 players like this post! Like? |

some people will vote more times than others, which means that some people wont recieve as many votes, which doesnt feel fair a person getting a high score shouldnt be dependent on how many people randomly got their entry shown 0 players like this post! Like? |

Re: currency earning Iβve been playing off and on since the minigame was dropped and Iβve already got 21 GC and Iβve only podiumed once. Itβs not too hard to get the currency, so I donβt think there should be much of a price change for anything. Itβs not too crazy? For markings, it makes sense for it to be a higher price, and the smaller items can be earned within a week or so of playing off and on. Itβs like Monkey Teeth. Iβve done gorilla quests off and on for a year + and have only gotten to 300MT once in that time. It takes effort and better prizes being more effort seems fair enough 3 players like this post!
