HorseTails eyes narrowed, as he spotted SnowPaw pacing the camp. His sensitive nose twitched, SnowEcho was not in camp. If he and IcePaw where both out that could only mean one of two things, either they were out gathering herbs or something must've happened.
Stepping out of the Med cat den, HorseTail walked over to StormBerry. The sand colored tom nodded his head to the deputy. "Morning", HorseTail greated. Turning to SnowPaw, the Med cat sat down. "What's the matter SnowPaw? Did something happen?", the tom asked. HorseTails paws scoffed the growd, why had he slept so long?

Icepaw wondered where Basilleaf was if Vixenpaw was to get better they needed to bring her to the clan but they could not do it without help. I wonder if Snowpaw has told anyone about Vixenpaw Icepaw wondered. She started to get worried that Basilleaf was hurt somewhere without help. Lonley. No she would not let her self think like that slowly she turns toward where Vixenpaw was lying. "Vixenpaw? How are you feeling?" Icepaw asks while putting more marigold on the wound.

Snowpaw nods. "Yeah Vixenpaw is hurt." She says. "She's getting help but I'm worried for her." Snow paw says as her gaze brings her back to the forest. What happened to her? She wonders. She looks back at Stormberry and Horsetail and says, "I just hope she's ok..." Snowpaw wonders about how long it has been since they left to help Vixenpaw. What could of hurt Vixenpaw? She wonders.

Snowecho - 23 moons - Medicine Cat - 30/30 - Clan Territory, river - Mentions: Vixenpaw, Icepaw

Snowecho noticed how thirsty Vixenpaw seemed, heading to get some moss and quickly drench it. He soaked the moss thoroughly in the water. He then turned around and headed back to Vixenpaw and dropped the moss next to her. He heard Icepaw ask Vixenpaw how she was and was quietly listening, looking towards her injury. He was feeling rather worried at her behaviour. The faster he could get her back to camp to get Horsetail in to help the better. He just needed another bigger cat to help him carry her.

As Iceclaw came back he noticed Vixenpaw was still there, Snowecho by Vixenpaw's side. "I lost track of basilleaf behind some trees, shouldn't we carry Vixenpaw back to camp first?" Iceclaw asked Snowecho. "Then you and the other medicine cats can help and heal Vixenpaw with some herbs."

Stormberry waved his tail in greeting to Horsetail when he came over, before widening his eyes when Snowpaw told them that Vixenpaw was hurt. "How badly is she hurt? Does she need help getting back to camp?" He asked, glancing worriedly at the camp entrance. Of course, he didn't know how long the other cats had been gone, but if it was only a minor injury, why would Snowpaw be so worried about her? He was always anxious to prove himself to the Clan, and helping carry an injured apprentice back to the safety of camp seemed like a good opportunity to do just that. "If you're worried, Snowpaw, I can go and check that she's doing okay."

Icepaw hears a sound and quickly realizes it's Snowecho drenching more moss for Vexinpaw. We he returns Icepaw reports "Snowecho I put more marigold on her wound and her breathing is fine but she keeps getting dehydrated really fast. " Icepaw looks at Snowecho trying to hide her fear for her fellow apprentice " We NEED to get her back to camp " Icepaw looks at Vixenpaw with a worried expression.

Snowecho nodded his head, approving of Icepaw's actions and agreeing with her. He looked up when he heard Iceclaw approach, relieved that help came just as he was wishing for it. He sent a small thanks to StarClan. "Yes, we were just talking about it." He replied to Iceclaw, getting ready to help carrying Vixenpaw. "We need to be careful, and not agitate her wound further." He warned, glancing over at Icepaw. "Can you keep beside us to make sure her wound doesn't knock into branches, small trees or bushes?" He asked, itching to get Vixenpaw back for proper care.

HorseTail looked down at SnowPaw, as the apprentice spoke. VixenPaw was injured? HorseTails eyes followed the apprentices. So they where out there, helping an injured clanmate? Every bone in his body was pulling at him to go out there and help, but both SnowEcho and Icepaw where already out there. There was nothing that he could to that both of them where not already doing, letting out a sigh the tom stood.
HorseTails ear twitched as Stormberry spoke, the med cat nodded his head, "It might not be a bad idea", he answered looking back at the deputy. Walking forward the med cat stopped next to Snowpaw the tom placed his long tail on the younger cats flank and spoke, "I know you're worried about Vixenpaw, but SnowEcho ad Icepaw are helping her. If you want, why don't you help me fix up a nest for her." The toms eyes went to the forest edge again, more to himself than to the apprentice he added, "They should be back with her soon."

Iceclaw got ready to carry Vixenpaw, making sure he doesn't agitate or worse, rip Vixenpaw's wound open. He gently put his hands underneath Vixenpaw and held. "I'm ready to go, Snowecho. Let's do this." Iceclaw told Snowecho, while looking at Icepaw to make sure she is ready too.

Icepaw hears distant paw steps it was Icepaw. Thank Starclan! Icepaw let's out a sigh of relief. Icepaw nods her head as Snowecho gives her instructions. Icepaw feels relieved that they will finally be getting Vixenpaw. Checking on Vixenpaw one last time Icepaw notices that Vixenpaw is unconscious. Ice paw was excited but also scared this was her first patient!

"Make a nest" Snowpaw repeated. "Yeah, ok" Snowpaw says felling better that she can do something. She gathers some moss, rings water out of it, and brings it to Horsetail. "Is this enough?" Snowpaw asks. Her nerves were more clam now that she was doing something and now and not just sitting around. Snowpaw lays the moss in the medicine den for Vixenpaw when she returns.

Snowecho moved around a bit and shuffled so he got Vixenpaw partly onto his back. "I'm ready as well." He mewed, looking over at Icepaw. "Tell us if we're too close to something and we'll steer away." He added onto his instruction. He just hoped that someone had alerted Horsetail that they would be getting a patient soon. He knew they had all the herbs they needed, but he still might take Stormberry out for a herb hunt after they had healed Vixenpaw. Just to relieve some of the stress he was feeling.

'Running. The wind funneled around my fur, my paws drummed the ground, my tail streamed behind em. Ears flicked, calculating the position in which my pursuers came from. My breaths came in ragged gulps, my heart beat an unsteady rhythm. The dark woods surrounding my felt to be hemming me in. Thunder erupted and I puffed up, skidding to a halt below a giant oak tree. The wind buffeted around me, harshly blowing about my ears. An enraged howl sounded behind me, the thumped of giant paws shaking the ground below me. Time stopped. I stared up, only to see giant, gaping jaws coming down, my death flashing before me.'

The white she-cat jolted from her dream. Her eyes bi-colored eyes wide from the panic that had followed her into her waking moments. She realized she had overslept. Most of the clan was already up and about and here she was, still asleep. She stood on shaky paws, shaking the fear from her fur as she pushed her way out of the den and into the day. The harshness of the dream following her steps, but quickly residing as her white paws met the sunlight. Her working eye followed the trail of the sunlight as her paws carried her over to the side of the warrior's den entrance. She sat and, figuring it wouldn't hurt, started to groom the dust from her pelt.

Newtpaw ducked out of the medicine den. Horsetail hadn't noticed him, but the young tom seemed to easily find ways to blend into his nest despite his light brown fur and dark brown spots. With a contented smile, he followed the older cat out of the den and heard of what had happened. His tail flicked at the words that an apprentice had been hurt, but at least they would be able to help, maybe not Newtpaw, but he didn't mind. The young spotted tom still had much to learn and couldn't wait to learn it all.

Stormberry nodded in response to what Horsetail said and gave Snowpaw a reassuring look as she began to make a nest for Vixenpaw, before turning and bounding out of the camp entrance. Once out in the territory, he lowered his head to the ground and began working on picking up on the scent of the other cats that would lead him to them. He definitely wasn't the fastest cat in the Clan, but progressed along the scent trail as fast as he could - although he had an element of caution about him. If something had attacked Vixenpaw, it might still be out there. As he got closer to the river, he perked his ears and lifted his head at the sound of familiar voices, following the sound eagerly until he came upon Snowecho, Icepaw and Iceclaw in the middle of carrying Vixenpaw.
