Hawkpaw woke up in the apprentie's den. He let out a yawn and stood up stretching. He saw Mumblepaw and Spottedpaw. "Hello." He meowed cheerfully. He felt good, like everyday. He walked outside and saw Featherheart. She was looking around, probably looking for him. Hawkpaw walked towards her his tail swishing on the ground slowly. She was talking to another cat, Earthquake. Hawkpaw had never really talked to the older tom. "Heya Featherheart."

Spottedpaw looks at Mumblepaw. "You don't have to fret over me like I am still a kit." She knew what she had to do not to get sick. She wasn't in the nursery anymore. She was going to groom herself until she thought of sharing the vole. "I promise you I'm not going to die from some mud on my pelt. " She hoped it didn't sound like she was being rude but, she was perfectly able of taking care of herself. She looks at him. Was that shock in his eyes? Why would he have shock in his eyes? Her gazed softened. "Fine you win I promise I will take better care of my self."

Mumblepaw would stop grooming Spottedpaw's pelt as she said that. He gave out a hurt sigh before stepping back and giving her some space. "No, no.. you're absolutely right." He'd mew in a bit of panic. "You're old enough to groom yourself, I shouldn't treat you like a kit." Mumblepaw would give an awkward chuckle, then his gaze turned a bit more serious. "There's things in this world that I can't stop you from doing by yourself... like having to train with your mentor or hang out with other apprentices. I shouldn't be jealous of those type of things.. I should think about what makes you happy, even if I hate it. My apologizes." He'd give a small huff, it was a bit embarrassing to admit he was jealous of such small things.

Stripepaw opened his eyes staring blankly at the wall. He had been awake for a bit but hadn't opened his eyes. He sat up his muscles screaming at him. He felt sore and stiff. Stripepaw wondered what he was doing in the medicine den when he looked at his shoulder. Everything seemed to be thrown at him. He let out a sigh and started licking his pelt. It was cold and wet and a little muddy. He ran his tongue on his gray pelt. His pelt was soon clean and he had nothing else to do. All he could do was sleep and clean himself, and May be heal his shoulder. But that was so boring. He wanted to go out and hunt, talk with fellow apprentices. Now he would have to watch Alderpaw and Softpaw become Warriors without him. He let out a sigh looking to his white paws.

Spottedpaw looks at her pelt. It had a lot more mud on it than she thought she had. She turns and licks her back. Instantly she spits out a mouthful of mud. She looks at the vole hungrily. She spots out some more mud and takes a huge bite. She starts chuckling at how stupid she must look. "There is no need.to apologize. I don't really care." She starts to chuckle more loudly. The vole was delicious but also tasted of mud. She licks her back again. She spits out another mouthful of mud. This time she starts yowling with laughter. Mumblepaw must think she's weird.

Mumblepaw would turn his head away from Spottedpaw for a bit. This was as hilarious as it was adorable, either way he couldn't stop himself from chuckle every once in awhile. "Hmm..." He'd try to keep his muzzle shut as his body trembled from the silly situation Spottedpaw was in. He'd then turn back and face her. "Heh... this is.. I don't.." He'd stutter for a moment. "You're so hilariously adorable Spottedpaw.." He'd laugh as he gave the she a kind smile. "I like that about you a lot.." He'd mew before laying down, his paws hurt from standing. He'd take a bit from the vole as well, though it was mostly mud. But he didn't mind as he swallowed the muddy chunk.

Just as she had started to settle down she saw something from the corner of her eye. Earthquake had stuck his tongue out at her. Softpaw was a little surprised to learn that the lightning had taken yet another victim. Poor Duskflight. Hopefully the warrior would be able to recover like Swiftstrike seemed to be doing. "Dry moss is going to be really hard to come by." He murmured, tensing a little as a clap of thunder sounded. The thyme he had eaten earlier was the only thing keeping him relatively calm. "Do you think you could get some from my nest? I'll just sleep on Alderpaw, I'm sure he won't mind." He purred softly at the end of his sentence. He padded into the medicine cat den, quickly starting to work on the new nest with the materials available. He saw Stripepaw in his peripheral, waving his tail in greeting to his fellow apprentice. "Is your shoulder any better?"

Stripepaw heard Softpaw's voice. He lifted his head turning towards the other apprentice. "It's just sore now." He meowed looking to his armored arm. "I wish I could go back and never climb that stupid tree." He muttered looking back to his white paws. He sheathed and unsheathed his claws then dug them into the moss. He shouldn't be complaining, he hadn't gotten struck by lightning. But both cats who had gotten struck were Warriors, they would probably heal faster than him anyways. "I feel so useless." He groaned digging his claws deeper. 'Well, this is great. I'm acting like a lot in the nursery, and in front of another apprentice. Great!' He thought flattening his ears against his head.

Wolfpaw - 9 Moons - Apprentice - 18/18 HP - Apprentice Den/Medicine Cat Den - Mentions: Softpaw, Willowstar, Duskflight

Wolfpaw gave a nod of his head, slightly peeking up when he was given a task where he could be useful. “Dry moss, got it!” Seeing the older apprentice make his way to the medicine cat den, the fluffy tom quickly padded over and slipped into the apprentice den. He noticed that both Spottedpaw and Mumblepaw were both in the den as well and dipped his head in a short greeting. He had overheard the conversation with his elder sister and Snowecho, but it wasn’t any of his business to say anything since he hadn’t been around when any of it occurred. Leaving them to their conversation, Wolfpaw moved over towards Softpaw’s nest and picked out a couple pieces of dry moss that was in his nest. He wasn’t sure if it would be enough, so he decided that he would take some from his own nest as well, rolling it up and tucking it under his chin so he could help keep it dry on his way to the medicine cat den.

As Wolfpaw trotted over, he spotted Willowstar padding through the camp entrance with Duskflight in her back. The older female caught sight of him and followed him towards the den, walking in after him after a few moments. He spotted Softpaw further in the den and set the pieces of moss down beside him. “Hopefully this is enough. I wasn’t sure how much there was in here and I didn’t want to take all of it from your nest, so I took some from mine as well.” The younger apprentice explained. “Oh, also, Willowstar just got here with Duskflight.” He said while motioning to the two cats.

Iceclaw yawned, he flopped down tired, onto the grass after racing with a rabbit, now flattened by the fact that Iceclaw accidentally sat on it. He rolled over to make the grass flat, and then snoozed off. When he woke up,, the sun was setting. How a intended half hour nap became a 5 hour sleep, Iceclaw thought. Now refreshed by the "nap" Iceclaw walked back to camp.

She chuckled and opened her mouth to reply but was cut off as Snowball bounded over to them, completely not peeving her one tiny bit. Brambleheart did have to admire her perkiness though, even if it did begin to slightly tick her off. When Earthquake turned to her, her expression gave away that she hadn't been listening that much and so she asked, "Greetings. Think about what? Snowball joining? Sure, I don't mind." Outwardly, she was putting on a good face. Inwardly, she was brooding like a badger, just as Earthquake had put it.

She could tell that Earthquake was exasperated while Snowball was a bouncing ball of energy and excitement. Hmm, maybe that's why she got that specific suffix...
