Seeing some of the others who were around the fire had me a bit worried, but if you’re well enough to move around, then that’s still a good thing.” Wolfpaw then let out a small chuckle at the mention of his sister and gave a small shrug. “She worries a lot more about others than she tends to let on. It’s easier for me to see it since she pretty much raised me, but I don’t think she realizes sometimes when she worries a bit too much.” Hearing the other apprentice’s concern, he smiled and gave her a nod in response. “I’m fine. I was away from the fire and outside of the camp when it happened, so I’m all good. I feel bad that I wasn’t able to help in any way, but if none of the warriors, deputies, or leaders were able to put it out, then I’m sure I wouldn’t have been of much help. There’s always when we all go back to help rebuild it that I can be of use.”

Spottedpaw-7 moons- apprentice-4/18-Outside Territory
Spottedpaw coughs a little bit. "I'm feeling better than I did yesterday." She tries to smile but she was still really tired. She sees Mumblepaw push some herbs to her. Were they going to make her feel better? She licks up the closest herb in front of her. She chews with her mouth open feeling like she can't breath with the herb in her mouth. She painfully swallows the herb. She looks at the other herbs not really liking that she still had to chew more. She felt as she couldn't breath.

Mumblepaw would nod quietly as Spottedpaw told him how she was feeling. "I'm glad you're feeling better." He mewed. "Also I'm sorry, for not being able to care for you earlier. I was helping Horsetail gather herbs, I actually returned not too long ago." The apprentice explained. "Hmm, I've been so busy that I totally forgot about myself. When was the last time I took a nap?" He muttered tiredly, Mumblepaw began to mumble with his words. The young tom then snapped back when he distantly heard Sunstar's call. Mumblepaw stood and padded around, he saw that cats were beginning to gather. A clan meeting? He thought questioningly, but with everything happening it made sense. "A clan meeting is happening, it seems very urgent too." He mewed to Spottedpaw as he padded back towards her. "I can't really hear from here so I'm going to gather with everyone else, but it's best you stay where you are." Mumblepaw suggested. "I'll be back, and I'll tell you some details if you weren't able to hear yourself." He added.

The proud apprentice carried a fish almost as large as her back to the cluster of clan cats. She couldn't be happier with her catch, and Lioncloud caught a big one as well. They could surely feed a lot of cats with these. As a clan meeting was called she looked for where the injured cats were, and laid the fish close to them. She gave a small smile before finding Swiftstrike and sitting beside him, her legs and chest fur still wet from her fishing, making her shiver in the open spot they sat in. She had a feeling the fire was only the start of what was about to come.

He waits again, for the meeting to start and for Harepaw to answer.

Softpaw was grateful that Wolfpaw updated him on what he knew about Swallowpaw for now, running with him back to the river. He noticed that cats had started gathering, weaving through the masses until he saw Snowecho and Horsetail. He managed to get up next to them and dipped his head respectfully. "Rosesong broke her tail, and Duskflight washed up on the river shore exhausted." He informed hesitantly while waiting for Sunstar to start the meeting. "I know you must be tired, and I hope you all make sure to take care of yourselves as well as the others." He added, hoping that the medicine cats took that to heart.

Snowecho nodded his head in return to Horsetail. He was ready to pay full attention to Sunstar, but Softpaw grabbed it quickly. He looked at the apprentice, first now noticing how big he was. It must be about time to make him a warrior. He was surprised to hear the word of two injured warriors. Luckily it sounded like it was not serious, so it could wait until after Sunstar's meeting. A fond smile spread when Softpaw told them to take care of themselves. "We will, thank you Softpaw." He mewed, licking the young cat's head affectionately.

Rainpaw looked around again, noticing Pebblesplash sitting by herself. Picking up her fish, she padded over to her. She had started to grow fond of the slightly older cat and she smiled behind the sparkly silver fish as she approached, waving her tail as if to say hi again. Rainpaw put down her fish nudging it over to her. "We meet again." She chuckled, her breathing had started to clear up and she felt better seeing the makeshift fresh kill pile nearby Sunstar. "Here," she said, once again nudging the fish, "Wanna share after Sunstar finishes? It'll keep our energy up." She didn't want to eat while Sunstar gave his speech, as that would be offensive, however she wanted to get something in her. Her stomach growled and she realized she hadn't eaten since noon of the day prior.

Harepaw returned the smile to her mentor, "Just a little, cause I'm wet." She explained. Her tail tightening around her to give her more warmth, though not much. "Yeah, we should go find a spot later of we can!" Her ears perked in excitement. She moved closer to her mentor, to make room, as other clan cats gathered round. She's amazed that a cat could go through an ordeal like he had, and was able to sit amongst his clan at a moment like this and not be bothered by it. She admired the strength the tom had in him to do that. She silently swore to herself to become like that when she is a warrior. His pelt seemed to grow in stronger and healthier she noted. She turned her attention back to the leaders as the meeting would start soon.

He asks though his gut told him it wasn't good news.
