Snowpaw wanted to get up so she stood and walked to Stripepaw and Mumblepaw. "Hi Stripepaw, hi Mumblepaw." She says cheerfully. Snowpaw stood beside them. She asks. Snowpaw looked at the two apprentices and smiled. "How are you guys?" She says nicely. She thinks she might be invading their conversation. "Mind if I join you guys?" She asks sweetly.

Mumblepaw would sigh as he looked to Stripepaw. " I don't know... Snowecho scares me in a way." He'd mumble in embarrassment. "Or at least the thought of my health and life in the paws of some other cat." He'd mew. "I mean I know Snowecho is a deeply trusted cat in the Clan, he is the Medicine Cat after all but I still know absolutely nothing about him.. if I have to trust some complete stranger with my life I might as well teach myself some herb knowledge. Which is actually something I've been doing in my free time, though I've been unsuccessful." He scoffed as he let out a small wheeze.

Softpaw flicked an ear and looked up as Mumblepaw mentioned being scared of Snowecho. "If you view Snowecho as a stranger, you should get to know him, he's really nice." He mentioned, stretching some again. He let out a quiet yowl as his tail was stepped on, looking up to see Snowpaw. "Sure you can join." He replied, sitting up a little. He felt a little more rested, but was still tired. He turned to look more at Mumblepaw. "I know you're very smart, but leave the herbs to the medicine cats." He purred softly.

Mumblepaw would groan slightly. "I suppose your right Softpaw. But how am I supposed to talk to a grown cat who also happens to be a Medicine Cat? Both the age and rank status are incompatible to start a conversation. We have different views of the world. Plus what if he doesn't even like me around? I've been told my blunt and mature nature and 'snappy' as well as my 'snotty' attitude, which I may add is totally not true, tends to turn others away." Mumblepaw huffed. He felt so panicked about this whole thing, he was actually starting to take this seriously.

Snowpaw smiled. "Hi Softpaw, thanks." She says sitting down. She looks at the three apprentices. She looks at Softpaw then Mumblepaw. "What up?" She asks. She was hoping she wasn't being rude or invading their conversation. She looked at them. I hope I'm not looking dumb, she thinks but hided it on her face with a soft, general smile that could mean anything. She wondered why they were talking about medicen cats. She tilted her head to the right a bit.

"Uh..." Snowpaw thinks for a second. "Icepaw is nice." She says. She thinks harder. For so reason she keeps thinking of her sister. "Uh Snowecho is.." Snowpaw thinks. She didn't know the midicen cat well. "Medicen cats are helpful..." She says. "Sorry, don't really know. If you need him he'll help." She says. She knew that. She suddenly thinks of her scar. She had slipped on a rock when she was a kit. Scraped her bad. She hated her scar. "He's help me before." She says.

Softpaw gave Mumblepaw's concern some thought, then snickered at what he added after Snowpaw had settled with them. "Did you know he started out as a warrior apprentice?" He asked Mumblepaw. He knew the medicine cat pretty well, as his time spent fixing up the nests in the medicine cat den lead to many conversations. If anything, he would have some useful information about the medicine cat. "Mumblepaw doesn't know Snowecho enough to trust him and we're trying to help." He informed Snowpaw, a little amused by the whole situation. He did not see why Snowpaw and Mumblepaw did not know Snowecho better, he was a very approachable cat.

Sunstar - 24 moons - Co-Leader - 35/40HP - Outside Camp - Stormberry

Susntar yelped as Stormberry fell in the river, instantly moving to help him. He licked the toms cheeks, purring. "I'm never going to forget that. Are you okay though? Be careful next time, those pesky fish are slippery little things."
He sat next to Stormberry to try warming him, and the sun did some help as well. Sunstar chuckled at his last comment. "No, I won't tell anyone unless you want me to. I think it's engraved in my head now. Our first date, and my silly idea led to you falling in the river. So I guess you can blame me for half of it."
He thought about how things were doing back at camp. He hoped everyone was doing well, and that no one else has been injured since him and Stormberry left. He also wondered about his new found future with his new and wonderful mate. Today has been the best day.

Mumblepaw would look over to Softpaw as he began talking about the Medicine Cat. "Used to? What happened?" Mumblepaw huffed in confusion. Snowecho looked like a pretty healthy cat and he didn't seem to have any disabilities, actually now that he thought about it Snowecho would make a pretty cool Warrior. Though he never really looked at the cat close enough to spot anything wrong with him so he wasn't too sure with he was disabled in some way.

Softpaw knew it was not common knowledge that their medicine cat had been a warrior apprentice, only the warriors and those Snowecho told seemed to know. "Twolegs took him away from the Clan one day." He said, the medicine cat's story being one of his favourite. He would ask Snowecho to tell it if he was stuck in the medicine cat den for one reason or another. "He managed to break free and StarClan guided him home, by the time he got back he knew more about herbs than fighting." He could not possibly begin to retell all the details without Snowecho present.

Birchpaw - 8 moons - Apprentice- 18/18 - Camp - Mentor: Pinefrost

Birchpaw sat up from her ocean of thoughts about the ex-warrior kittypet that had dared to set a paw in this camp. She couldn't believe it, was he an idiot? or just a brave cat? or a idiot that had too much bravery? Starclan if she knew. She noticed once again that her clanmates have moved. Most of the apprentices where talking and some looked still appeared shooken from the kittypet. she noticed that two mentors and their apprentices had also left camp. Birchpaw weighed her options and decided to do hunt alone. She had a lot of thoughts clouding her mind, she just got up from sleeping, the shooken apprentices were cared for, and she didn't want to join a patrol so late, she thought it would be rude to do so. Decision made, she looked around swiftly for her mentor. Not able to find him, she shrugged and skipped over to the entrance to do some solo hunting.

"Huh.." Mumblepaw would mew blankly. Snowecho must've missing for quite a while to forget all his fight training and replace that with herb knowledge. "That's just a bit surprising. I was kinda expecting him to just have his legs be messed up or something like most Medicine Cats." He'd scoff slightly. He then let out a long dry cough as he wheezed. It was getting somewhat harder for him to breathe. "Ouch.." He'd mumble, it hurt to speak every once in a while. "You two must be close." He'd try his best ignore the pain as he tried to talk to Softpaw.

Softpaw shrugged a little. "He still remembers all his fighting training, but StarClan encouraged him to pick the path of healing when he made his way back, he healed himself and cats he met along the way." He quickly added, not wanting them to get the wrong idea. He wished Snowecho was there to tell the story himself, it was almost as exciting as listening to a story from one of the elders. "I always help with the nests, so I'm there a lot, and when I was a kit I was a bit sickly." He mentioned fondly.

Snowecho - 23 moons - Medicine Cat - 26/30 - Clan Territory - Mentions: Stormberry, Sunstar

Snowecho was about to step out of his hiding spot when Sunstar started talking. His heart felt like it shattered at the leader's words. He stared at the ground and felt endless grief cloud his head. He felt like yowling out the agony he felt in his heart, yet he was also angry. This was all the twolegs' fault. Them and StarClan. If they had not interfered with his life, he would be a warrior, not a medicine cat. If not for them, he would be the one happily warming Stormberry after his unintentional bath. Shaking his head, he took a deep breath.
Calm down Snowecho, you're a medicine cat, you're not supposed to have favourites, no mate, no nothing. He thought bitterly. After a couple more calming breaths, he backed out of the bush. He padded out of the forest, pretending like he had not witnessed anything. "Oh hello Stormberry, Sunstar." He mewed, curling his tail as he approached the river. At least now he knew why his instincts told him to look for goatweed.

"Mhm.." Mumblepaw would nod quietly at Softpaw. He wasn't even listening anymore. He felt like this lungs were slowly getting the air crushed out of them. He'd wheezed as he set his head down onto the warm ground. Mumblepaw felt so tired suddenly, everything felt warm and fuzzy though he was wheezing like mad. "-Softpaw... You're- you're still here right? Please tell me you didn't leave yet.. Don't leave me here Softpaw..." He'd mumble to the tom with his eyes closed. It's like he couldn't hear Softpaw anymore.
