Snowpaw smiled. "Well thats cool." Snowpaw finally says. She realizes Mumblepaw is well mumbleing for Softpaw. Snowpaw looks at Softpaw. "Whats happening?" She asks. She remembers he wanted to see Snowecho but didn't have the courage. Was he sick? "Mumblepaw?" She asks. "Are you okay?" She says. She looks at Softpaw again. "Do you know whats happening?" She asks.

Stormberry closed his eyes and purred when Sunstar licked his cheeks; honestly, a dip in the water with all the hot weather was kind of welcome. Still, he didn't plan to have it happen like that. "I'm fine, I was so sure I was going to catch it though. Imagine if I'd caught it in midair!" He mewed, enjoying warming up in the sun next to his new mate. "Oh, I don't blame you, I blame the fish." He said, laughing a little and moving his tail to touch it with Sunstar's. "A little more practice and we'll be the best at catching fish in the Clan, I'm sure of it." He added, with a soft laugh. He was having such a nice time, it was really needed after the drama of the rogue and everything that had followed. He flattened his ears, however, when he saw Snowecho suddenly appear out of a nearby bush, curling his own tail and wondering how much he saw. "Snowecho, what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be resting still?"

Alderpaw started to feel more at ease with the other apprentices and moved to lay down again, his dark pelt soaking up the bright warmth of the sun. He guessed that they still wouldn't be training for a little while yet, so he might as well do his best to relax, like Stripepaw seemed to be doing. He tilted his head a bit when Mumblepaw revealed that he seemed to be ill, but that he was too afraid of Snowecho to see him about it. "You shouldn't have to be afraid of Snowecho, after all, he was the one that made the decision to dedicate his life to healing the cats of this Clan. Even if he didn't like you, that doesn't mean he would turn you away." He meowed, but he was startled by how quickly Mumblepaw seemed to go downhill. He got to his paws to look and see if Snowecho happened to be around, but it didn't look like it. This was typical! What luck did they have, that the medicine cat was out of camp right when Mumblepaw needed him?

Snowecho - 23 moons - Medicine Cat - 27/30 - Clan Territory - Mentions: Stormberry, Sunstar

Snowecho puffed his fur up, scanning the riverside for goatweed. He was grateful that only he knew what they were good for. "I'm looking for some herbs, I'm feeling much better." He replied, spotting the herb he was looking for. "I'm confident Icepaw can hold things together while I'm out here." He added, padding over to the goatweed and picking a few. He glanced at the river, feeling like showing off a bit, so crouched close-by and watched it. He shot his paw out, fast as lightning, and dragged a fish out. He thanked his RiverClan blood that he was able to show off like this. "Falling into the river isn't the best way to fish." He teased playfully. "I'm guessing that's why you're wet."

Softpaw nodded his head in agreement with what Alderpaw meowed, glad that Alderpaw also knew the medicine cat somewhat. He got to his feet and padded closer to Mumblepaw when he collapsed, surprised and shocked. "I'm right here." He reassured, giving Mumblepaw's head a couple of licks and crouching close to him. He perked his head and looked around camp. "I think I saw Snowecho leave, has anyone seen Icepaw?" He asked. If no one had seen the medicine cat apprentice, one of them would have to run and fetch Snowecho from wherever he was.

Snowpaw shook her head. "Um... I haven't seen her in a while." Snowpaw says. She wants to help more but she didn't know how. She stands up and paces. She takes a deep breath. "What should we do?" she asks franticly. "Should I..." she thinks for a way she could help. "Should I look for Snowecho?' She asks. She takes another breath. She wants to freak out. I have to stay calm, she thinks.

Icepaw-6moons-med cat apprentice-18/18-Camp
Icepaw stretches and yawns. How could she still feel sleepy? Oh well. She walks over to the herbs that are unsorted. She starts to make neat little piles again. She sees a bad marigold leaf and quickly takes it out and looks for more bad leaves. When she had a nice pile of rotting leaves she picks them up starts to head toward the camp. Icepaw feels her mouth start to water when she saw freshkill pile. Maybe I will get a piece when i get back she thought.

"Oh, look Icepaw." Snowpaw says. Snowpaw runs over to her sister. "Hi Icepaw. Um... Mumblepaw just kinda started well mumbling and then he passed out." She says. She looks over at Mumblepaw's body. "Snowecho is out right know." She says quickly. "He was talking about wanting to see Snowecho but not." She says. Snowpaw looks back at her sister. "I don't know what to do!" She says.

Sunstar - 24 moons - Co-Leader - 37/40HP - Outside Camp - Stormberry, Snowecho

Sunstar flicked his ear in annoyance at Snowecho's comment, continue to lick Stormberry's cheek. "Not everyone can be good at everything like you can, Snowecho." He tried really hard not to make his voice sound clipped in jealousy.
He got up, stretching his muscles, nice and crisp by the afternoon sun. He looked at Stormberry and asked, "Perhaps it's time we got back anyways. We need to check in with Hollowfall and Willowstar about how things are going back at camp. I really hope my brother sent patrols out."
He looked back at Snowecho, and it looked like he was making a speedy recovery. "If you want to stay a bit longer Stormberry, that's alright. I'm going to go bring a vole to Icepaw."
He touched noses with the deputy, and slid his tail down his side before heading back towards camp.

Icepaw drops the rotting herbs. "What do you mean he passed out?" She runs over to Mumblepaw. She gently nudges him . "Mumblepaw. Mumblepaw wake up." She checks his breathing. It sounds all right. She checks his heart beat. Thank StarClan that sound normal. Maybe he just was really tired. " I think we should just take him back to the apprentices den. Snowpaw or Softpaw can you help me? I think he was just really tired he looks fine but I will ask Snowecho or Horsetail about him." She looks up at the apprentices.

"Ok." Snowpaw says realived Mumblepaw was okay. Snowpaw lifts part of him up and looks at her sister. Snowpaw feels better now that she knows Mumblepaw was just tired. Snowpaw sighs and says to her sister "Thanks. I'm glad he's ok." She smiles and lifts up half of Mumblepaw's body. She grunts. Then she smiles. Snowpaw looks at Softpaw and Icepaw. "Ok, lets get him there." She says

Softpaw watched Icepaw examine Mumblepaw, relieved when she said he was okay. "I saw Snowecho go out of camp, I think he went herb hunting." He mentioned to her, getting up and getting ready to pick up Mumblepaw with Snowpaw. He would make sure Mumblepaw's nest was as soft as it could be, it was the least he could do. He had a nagging feeling that Mumblepaw was not just tired. However, since he was no medicine cat, he was not sure, and Icepaw saying she would consult Snowecho or Horsetail about Mumblepaw helped calm him. She's so smart, it's a good thing we have her. He thought to himself. "It's a good thing you were in camp." He told her, warmth in his voice.

Stormberry twitched his tail a bit at what Snowecho said, wondering why the medicine cat suddenly seemed more mean-spirited than he was used to. Sure, there were playful jokes, but something didn't seem right about this at all. He licked Sunstar's cheek and sighed softly, agreeing that it was probably time for them to head back to camp now, anyway. "Let's just hope that nothing too dramatic happened while we were gone." He mewed, sad to have his date with Sunstar ended so abruptly. He let out a soft purr when Sunstar touched noses with him, and got up to head back to camp. "I'll head back now and see you at camp, maybe I can send out some patrols if it hasn't been done already." He said softly, watching Sunstar head off and giving Snowecho a look out of the corner of his eye. He padded away from the small path and decided to head back to camp a different way, so that he could have some alone time to think as he walked.

Alderpaw flicked his tail as he watched Icepaw examine Mumblepaw, and even though he was no medicine cat, he definitely thought that all of Mumblepaw's problems couldn't just result from tiredness - could they? Either way, he decided it was best for him not to say - he was sure Snowecho would take a look at the other apprentice whenever he got back to camp, anyway. He blinked a bit as he listened to the warmth in Softpaw's voice as he talked to Icepaw, and felt slightly uneasy all of a sudden. He curled his tail around himself and stayed quiet, watching the other apprentices take Mumblepaw over to his nest and wondering why he suddenly felt so bad.

Snowpaw helps carry Mumblepaw to the apprentice den. Snowpaw looks at the passed out apprentice. Snowpaw looks at Icepaw. She looks at he sister with worried eyes. "Are you sure your okay?" She says. She sighs looking at her sister hoping she will say yes. "Mumblepaw said he wanted to see Snowcho." She tells Icepaw. She leaves out that he was nervous about it.

Stripepaw watched as Mumblepaw was carried into the apprentice's den. He wanted to help but he knew that they would be fine. He sat down his eyes full of sadness. At least he was going to be okay. Stripepaw liked the tom and hated seeing him in pain. Stripepaw hated seeing anyone in pain. At least there wasn't any blood. Stripepaw thought scratching his ear. He looked to his paws. He should have done more. Stripepaw walked up to Stormberry and Sunstar. "I have a question. Maplestripe hasn't been around camp much, so I was wondering if one of you could do my Warrior Assessment." He felt a little weird asking it but he knew he had to. He wanted to become a warrior very badly.

Snowecho - 23 moons - Medicine Cat - 27/30 - Clan Territory, River - Mentions: Stormberry

Snowecho's playful mood quickly turned sour at Sunstar's comment. Was the leader really giving him a hard time for being good at fishing? He had RiverClan blood, of course he was going to be good at fishing. He was upset however when he saw the look Stormberry gave him before starting to leave. "Stormberry?" He called before the deputy was out of sight. He hoped that he would be able to talk to him, apologise if he had offended him with the teasing. He had not meant to upset Stormberry, far from it. He pushed the fish towards Stormberry. Almost like a small offering of peace.
