Stormberry purred softly at Snowecho as they made their way back into camp, looking forward to having a heart to heart with the medicine cat when all the other cats had fallen asleep. He took the fish he had to the elder's den, before turning back to get on with the day. He looked around camp for Swallowpaw, but he happened to notice Stripepaw looking rather frustrated as he paced around camp, and then sat down. Wanting to distract himself from everything that had happened with Snowecho, he decided to approach the apprentice and find out what was going on. "Are you okay, Stripepaw?" He asked, tilting his head curiously. Maybe a little while tending to his duties and helping out the Clan would help clear his head and make him feel better.

Mumblepaw | 9 Moons | Apprentice | 18/18 | Medicine Cat Den

Mumblepaw would let out multiple painful coughs and wheezes. His breathes were ragged and short as he let out small groans and whines as he heard somebody begin to enter the Medicine Cat Den. He seemed to mumbling something in hushed pleas. "Hh-" He'd mutter quietly before letting out a long dry cough.

Stripepaw looked back to the camp entrance and saw Stormberry walk in! He walked calmly yet excitedly to Stormberry. "Er, excuse me, Stormberry. I would like to speak with you." He meowed stopping in front of him. He didn't like talking to the deputies, or the leaders. He flicked his tail then licked his paw.

"I'm lucky not to be a fox then, and you're lucky not to be a shrew," Foxflame retorted at Shrewflight, still smiling. "I thank you for your welcome."

Upon hearing Softpaw's teasing, Foxflame paused, pensive. "You're getting old enough to think about such things, hmm? So it seems. But—" he smiled— "'Twould be a shame if someone were only captivated by your face. 'Tis the heart that ought to captivate, is it not? Only those of shallow mind would love another for a face alone. To that end, I am glad my face is not so captivating," he laughed.

"Well, let us play with words no more. We've time to do so when we return." Foxflame narrowed his eyes lovingly. "I wonder what we shall hunt?"

Snowpaw smiles. She looks at Softpaw. "You wish." She says smirking and looks at Foxflame giving him a look like 'you too'. She smiles and breaths in the nice, warm, fresh air. She stretches. She looks back at Softpaw and smiles widely "Yeah. I think we can catch that rabbit." She says. She looks at Shrewflight and Foxflame. "Do ya'll think that we can catch that rabbit Softpaw smells?"

Snowecho - 23 moons - Medicine Cat - 28/30 - Medicine Cat Den- Mentions: Mumblepaw, open

Snowecho paused briefly in surprise when he saw Mumblepaw laying in the medicine cat den, quickly padding to the herbs storage and putting down the goatweed. He brought out some of the honey they had collected earlier, and headed back to the apprentice. "Mumblepaw, can you speak?" He asked him. He would have someone fetch him some moss with water for Mumblepaw to drink from. He poked his head out. "Someone fetch me some moss with water." He called out to no one in particular. He turned back to Mumblepaw and sniffed his breath.

Softpaw listened to what Foxflame said, agreeing with him to a point. "But I'm the whole package, captivating heart, and face~" He purred, his voice laced with amusement. His ears flattened briefly and he pouted softly at Snowpaw's comment, but laughed it off shortly after. "Seems my wish came true." He posed briefly, then flicking his tail in the direction of the rabbit trail. "We could catch that rabbit easy." He hummed, keeping his gaze towards the scent trail. "We're all talented hunters."

Stormberry could sense some of Stripepaw's excitement as he approached him, and it only made him more curious to find out what all the fuss was about. "Of course you can talk to me, what is it?" He asked, sitting down and giving the big mane of fur around his neck a few licks. He couldn't help but notice that a few apprentices seemed to not be getting as much training as they would have liked, and he wondered if this was what Stripepaw wanted to talk to him about. If so, maybe he could take more than one apprentice along with him to train in the forest.

She says. She smiles at Doftpaw. She looks over at Shrewflight and Foxflame. "Are ya'll okay with catching a rabbit?" She asks hoping the answer will be yes. She had never learned how to catch a rabbit

The sand colored tom let out a sigh. Some time ago the tom had gone out of camp, intending to at first just gathered herbs, but in the end medicine cat had climbed onto a large tree and was now lying on one of its large branches. With his paws hanging down, HorseTail laid his head on his paws. From his vantage point the sand colored tom was able to see camp, just barely though. He loved climbing up trees, with his SkyClan ancestry the tom had always been naturally adept at climbing trees. The world just seemed so much calmer and brighter from up here.
HorseTail's ear twitched, as a pesky fly started to buzz around his head. Getting to his long legs, the tom had climbed down the tree in a few heartbeats. Grabbing a small bundle of herbs containing Borage, Bright-Eye, Lovage, and Catchweed, the medicine cat headed for the camp.

Shrewflight smiles at the troop of cats with her, affection for them growing; her tail flicked in anticipation.
"I absolutely want to go after that rabbit. It's a fantastic idea."
She glanced at Foxflame and, feeling a little bold, smirked.
"It'd be a shame if we were a shrew and a fox, y'know. We wouldn't be able to talk."
She flicked her tail and started to lead the troop deeper into the woods, towards a grassy clearing where the rabbit scent was strongest.

Snowpaw sniffed the air. "Defiantly smell rabbit." She obesely notes quietly. She taste the air. "Rabbit smells good." She says to herself. "And taste good." She says again, to herself. "Why am I talking to myself." She says (Yes still to herself) She tilts her head now confused. Man I'm weird, she thinks. She lifts her head higher. She smells a rabbit near, a rabbit mother that maybe passed a day ago, and could still smell that fox but it was more stale here.

As the four of them pressed on, and Snowpaw's talkative nature let them know that a rabbit was definitely near, Shrewflight began sniffing the air and listening to the wind. She could hear the crunching under their feet, of course, but in the distance, she could hear the chittering of birds; Shrew chittered slightly out of habit, narrowing her eyes up at a sparrow in a low hanging branch about a yard away from them. She dropped to a crouch and lurched forward.

Snowpaw jumps when Shrewflight, well, jumps. She has a split second to see the sparrow. While the world goes in slowmo for some odd reason Snowpaw wonders, will Shrewflight get the sparrow? She watches impressed that Shrewflight had such keen eyes and ears. She hopes that Shrewflight will get the sparrow. She watches in amazement. She sighlently cheers for Shrewflight.
