Stripepaw looked to Mumblepaw. Did he snap? "Oh, sorry for my tone. When ever I'm in pain I turn into this very rude cat. Can't really control it." He groaned trying to move his shoulder. He was usually pretty careful and didn't get hurt often. He tried to lick his paw but couldn't since it hurt his shoulder. "But I really don't like to be compared to Hawkpaw. He always acts like everything is fun and great." He muttered darkly. He thought of his father and sighed.

"Okay, lets do hunting then." He says "And the storms? We'll comeback if we need to. Lets not go to far." He suggest walking to the camp exit. He was excited to teach an apprentice. Although he hoped he wasn't weird. I have terrible social skills, he tells himself. He pauses once at the camp exit, he looks back at hi apprentice to see if she was following him.

She asks, not whispering anymore. She smiles. Then she whispers again. "I think the warriors might notice were whispering." She, well whispers then sits back up again. She smiles at him.

Mumblepaw would give Stripepaw a simple annoyed "hff" from his nostrils before refusing to talk to him. The whole den seem to be cold with tension, at least that's how Mumblepaw felt. He'd close his eyes before sighing. "I don't give a mousetail about how you feel. But.. sorry or whatever.. I still don't care." He'd mew, he cared a lot. Being hurt sucks. "Look on the brighter side. You aren't in much pain as me." He'd mew. "You aren't sick, having to be cooped up in the place you despise the most. All your of your friends, who are chatting and prancing in the rain while you're here, feeling like your life is being drained away from being so weak. You're lungs getting more and more cramped with every breathe.. you feel like a thick tree, stuck in place." He'd mutter in a grim tone, it was clear he was describing himself. "At least you'll be patched up in now time. While I'm over here, wondering when I'll get to talk to Spottedpaw again.." He'd sigh. "She hasn't even visited me.. does she even know I'm in here?" He'd stutter. "No." He'd hiss. "I bet she's too busy training with 'Hawkpaw' or chatting with other she apprentices to come visit me..." He'd hiss in a jealous tone. His tone got quite prickly when describing Hawkpaw though.

Hawkpaw looked to Snowpaw smiling. He understood, "Got it." He whispered back that sat down. "Oh you know, it was fine. Woke up then Featherheart asked if we could go hunting. How was your day?" He asked licking his scar again. "Well, you had a nice conversation. Now you should go." The voice in the back of his head spoke. He ignored it. He was happy right now.

Stripepaw looked to Mumblepaw and let out a hiss. "I bet she is just worried." He narrowed his eyes. He didn't want anyone to talk badly about his sister. He softened his gaze at the hint of jealousy in Mumblepaw's tone. "Look, Hawkpaw is just another apprentice. Your way better than him. You actually know when not to be happy. Your strong and smart, don't let jealousy get in the way of logic. Or temper for that matter." He added thinking of his injury. "I think I'm going to be in here for a while. I'm pretty sure I broke my shoulder bone." He meowed. He hoped he had made Mumblepaw feel a little better.

Snowpaw smiles. "I just woke up." She admits. "I guess I couldn't sleep." She says shrugging. "Well, I did wake up once before... or maybe twice, but I never stayed awake long." She says shrugging again. She smiles at Hawkpaw liking his scar. She remembers Shrewflight making her feeling by saying that we both got scars. "Hey. Do you mind me asking how you got your scars. I got mine by slipping on a rock." She shrugs. "If I ever have kits asking me how I got my scar I'll be like 'I got it in battle!' instead of 'I slipped on a rock!'" She says smiling

"That's the thing... I'm never happy." He'd sigh. "I'm sure Spottedpaw would rather hang with the carefree and cheery Hawkpaw than hang with me." He let out a hurt sigh. "At least Hawkpaw isn't a total buzzkill and puts a smile on muzzles, and then there's me.. and my weird long tail.." He'd sway his tail. "And my mouse sized fangs.." He'd finally turn his head to Stripepaw, it made a loud 'pop' sound. "My strange tall figure.. heh I'm already a Warrior's size.." He'd let out a sad chuckle. "My voice.. it's so dead and gloomy. Why does Spottedpaw want to hang with me?" He let out another hurt laugh before sighing. "Let's talk about something else... or someone actually.." He'd mutter. "I can't get Spottedpaw out of my head." His ears flattened. "Would you like to hear a bit more about her? I know a lot about her, you see we're very close you know." He gave out a proud, satisfied purr. "Quite actually."

Stripepaw nodded. "I never really got to know Spottedpaw. I barely knew she was in the Clan until my father came back." He let out a pained groan. It wasn't the pain from his shoulder but the pain from his heart. He let out a sigh then looked back to Mumblepaw. "Your not the only one with an unusualy long tail." He'd sway his tail. "It shouldn't matter what you look like on the outside. It's what's on the inside that counts. I'm sure that inside you are a great, kind cat." He smiled looking to the younger apprentice. "She wants to hang out with you because she sees what's on the inside." He meowed.

Hawkpaw looked to his scar. "Well I got mine when I was hunting for the rouge that killed Vixenpaw. I rolled down a hill and scratched it on a rock and a twig. I was rolling so fast that it cut pretty deep. He looked to his scars. He had never really thought about kits. "If I ever have kits, I'm going to tell them that exact story. I would never want to lie, expecially to someone so young." He meowed looking back to Snowpaw.

Mumblepaw was a bit shocked about what Stripepaw said. "K-Kinder words have never been spoken Stripepaw.." He'd stutter and mumble in embarrassment. He'd clear his throat as he tilted his head to the fact of Spottedpaw's father. 'Her father came?' He'd mew to himself, he'd ask Spottedpaw about that later. "Well.." He'd turn his attention back to Stripepaw. "From my experience Spottedpaw was quite shy. I rarely acknowledged her until she came over to me one day asking about how I was feeling." He'd huff. "I was honestly a bit suspicious about the whole thing but non the less we began talking. We'd ask about simple things, such as training and hunting. She told me about her sister, who she sadly lost as a kit." His tail swayed. "I reassured her of the fact and we became quick friends." He pause. "I um.." He felt his pelt grow warm "I called her 'love' by accident once.. but she didn't seem to mind at all.. actually, I think she liked it." He'd fumble with his paws. "I think she's absolutely wonderful, no wait... she's splendid, spectacularly magnificent!" He'd shout. "Undoubtedly dazzling and breathe-taking! And so brilliantly gorgeous Stripepaw!" He'd purr in awe with a much cheerful tone as he actually managed to stand on his paws, his eyes lit up and his tail swayed frantically as he was panting from speaking so fast. He'd look down at the tom, his pelt felt on fire. "U-Um." He'd stutter.

Snowecho heard some commotion from the medicine cat den, and turned his head. "Mind going to talk to Willowstar alone?" He asked Newtpaw, concerned about what was going on. "I'll be with you after I've seen what all the ruckus is about." He assured. He padded quickly over to the medicine cat den and entered, just in time to hear Mumblepaw go on about Spottedpaw. He was glad to see the tom awake, but not so happy when he noticed another apprentice present. He picked up on the smile Stripepaw gave, and hurried to fetch the honey for Mumblepaw. "It's about time you got this." He mewed to the apprentice. He gently pushed a leaf with honey on it towards the apprentice, mixed with the honey was various herbs. He then turned towards Stripepaw. "How are you injured?" He asked, leaning in close and starting to sniff the apprentice's fur for any sour scents. The trip he had planned to be quick, seemed like it would take a while.

He'd smile slightly. He felt his legs tremble as the gave out, his whole body would drop to the ground. He let out a painful whine. "Think I broke something?" He'd laugh before letting out painful coughs, it took him awhile to regain a normal breathing pattern before sitting up. At least he didn't feel cramped up. "You know.. I'm a bit fascinated with herbs." He'd look around the Medicine Cat Den. "Sure I hate the den, but I love the stuff it does." He'd smile looking at the neatly placed herbs around the den. "I'd be lying if I hadn't thought of wishing to be a Medicine Cat Apprentice, to take Icepaw or Newtpaw out of the place and try it myself." He'd huff. "There's a bit of accomplishment in watching the sick and injured bounce back from the brink.." He'd mew in awe. "I actually taught myself how to heal my own wounds somewhat, though it's nothing compared to Horsetail!" He'd whisper to Stripepaw with a smile. "Don't tell Softpaw though, he told me I shouldn't be doing that and should be leaving it to Snowecho and Horsetail." He'd chuckle. "But I don't give a mousetail about what he says, I want to learn myself." He'd then pause and look over at Snowecho who had entered, then at the leaf he set down.

The smile left his face as he tried to shift his position. He looked to the medicine cat his eyes full of pain. He closed them not really wanting to show weakness. Even if he had already shown a lot of it.

Snowpaw nods. "Yeah, lying is bad." She agrees, nodding. She smiles. She has a memory of when the scar was recently healing. She did something and reopened it. Blood was everywhere. She decides to tell this to Hawkpaw this. "Once, recently after I got my scar and it was a scab. I did something, I don't even remember what, probably something dumb, and it reopened. Blood was everywhere." She says smiling

Mumblepaw would stare down at the honey-filled leaf. He'd shutter and gag silently in disgust. Mumblepaw wasn't a fan of honey, mostly because he never tried it before, so he wouldn't know if it didn't taste the way he wished it would. He did know honey was sweet but he just hoped it wasn't that sweet. He'd crouch down to ready to eat some before pausing. Maybe he should see how it felt first? He'd paw at it only to get the leaf stuck on his paw. He'd pick it up with his jaws, only to notice it was upside down. The honey would droop to the ground. "Hhh-" He'd look around before licking up the honey on the ground in panic. It tasted somewhat crunchy, he totally wasn't expecting that.
