I still can't believe this... DU I bought for 80 GB... and the lion scrot I have is basically useless. they really either need to make it passable on its own or up the odds if they're gonna do this... and I was so excited for this mutation..

The mutation is useless if it's so expensive you can't save money by using it instead of 2 other lionesses or just twice the items. Dus aren't worth fuckall now.

Nah I'm gonna keep her... try my luck and if it don't work oh well. I've put apps on her for a project and she can still be useful. Worse comes to worse, if the lion scrot fails I can freeze her on my side account till I get more but that sucks too cause i use my side for more event currency and transferring 1% back and forth to breed quicker... this just sucks, I know I've said this in 4 other posts but it's outrageous. less then a year released and breeding odds are nerfed by 80%. And even as a passable mutation, there's leopons that fail to produce leopon cubs in their life time- now you get that but you also would pay to even have the chance. This update is just.... ugggggghhhhhh. Idk but I'm seriously depressed by this.

In my opinion, it’s not supposed to be a mutation that’s for “saving money”. It’s supposed to be really rare, aka expensive. It is the ONLY mutation currently in the game that actually provides an advantage in gameplay other than just allowing you to breed more of that mutation. I think that means it should be kept rare, and lowering the pass rate with lion balls is the only way to fix it (because the natural pass rate is so low the only real way to breed them is with lion balls).

I think moving the lion ball pass rate down was a good idea in order to preserve the value and rarity of DUs. As I said before, 5% may be a bit low, but imo 15% is too high. Double the cubs means double the chances of passing the mutation when using lion balls, so the highest I think it should be would be 10%. That’s the same as a first gen pon, and you get double cubs, so I think it’s fair.

If they wanted it to be really rare, they should've never made it passable in the first place. How the hell could you not see that a MUTIE CLONING ITEM and a LION THAT POPS OUT A MAXIMUM EIGHT CUBS woud spread like wildfire? How short sighted do you have to be? And then to just drop the update on people with NO WARNING? If I had decided to breed my DU from two days ago later, I'd've been fucked.

I ain't saying it's for saving money, but if I have to freeze her on my side account I will but it's rediculous. People complain about primals, dwarves and other mutations that are "too common" yet this is out, again, less then a year, useful in many ways to many people if they got one and i was excited to breed more of em... they really had no reason to go after DU. It ain't all that common, but let's look at this another way... DU prices have already skyrocketed. for a lion that can breed extra cubs I bought one for a high price anticipating to breed more for myself. Now however, if the DU I been customizing don't pass, whether it's buying lion scrots or just having to buy another one it's gonna be at least 100 GB. 3-5 lion scrotes or a lion with the mutation that can't really do much aside from breed more normal cubs. I honestly see this hurting the DU market rather then helping it.
