The pale white wolf stalked through the trees, searching the territory with his pinkish nose high in the air. Hunting had never been his strong suit; his pelt stood out harshly against the dark foliage. He tried, though, knowing the path of a healer wasn't meant for him either. Soul sighed as he padded through the trees, headed toward the meadow they possessed. It was a beautiful sight, though the storm clouds looming past the pines gave warning they would soon dump upon the territory. The male studied the pines, briefly wondering if Tarkik had the right idea with joining another territory. He snorted at that idea, shaking out his fur and turning to trot off elsewhere.

As the sounds of thunder caught his ear, Soul finally gave in and headed home, not eager to get soaked. He looked goofy enough already and adding rain to flatten his fur did him no favors. The white male entered camp quietly, skirting under some shelter to rest. He licked a paw pad thoughtfully and began grooming, noting how quiet camp was.

The teen snorted audibly, "Oh please, there's nothing to be afraid of," flashing a smirk towards the warrior, "Being scary is like, part of the job. I bet he's mushy like a rabbit." Bella didn't believe in the tough, grumpy act for a second. He probably just didn't know how to express himself, that's all, "Like... Stark also looks kinda scary, but he's super soft... so," surely the Beta wouldn't feel as comtempt as he looked all the time. Maybe Pa'ar did scare her a little, but it was mainly because she had a hard time reading him, and feeling lost in social situations was not her forte.

They only walked a couple more steps before two wolves entered her field of vision, the heavy foliage obscuring their pelts slightly, but the freshly marked scent was strong enough to tell who it was. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Part of Bella wanted to stay behind and do a little snooping on the two wolves, but that might not sit well with Iniovij, so with little hesitation, the she-wolf made her way trough the thicket, stopping a couple of paws away from the pair, regarding them carefully, but keeping an open pose. "It's a reunion I see," she tried lightening the mood, flashing a smile towards the two, sensing a wave of uneassines coming from Kiran who looked like he was just chased by a bear.

Iniovij winced at the younger wolfs less-than-tactful words. He waited to see pa'ars reaction, eyeing Kiran- who looked as scared as Iniovij felt. The timid warrior crouched low.
He had never liked pa'ar, and bellanova was rather- volatile. He had a feeling the beta wouldn't appreciate it.

"We can avoid them by taking off right now, but you seemed like the immediate threat because you are the closest one to Dawn. Thank you for saving her hide. Let's go." Faith whispered to the both of them pointing away from the three wolves that were on the other side of the trees.


Dawn looked down before standing up, she looked at the caught rabbit before picking it up and ran passed her big sister in the direction she was pointing.

His temporary distraction over ancestors-knew-what had cost the male, and hopefully it wouldn't cost him significant more punishment in the future. During his spacing out, two young rabbits, not yet adolescents, bolted in between Remus' leg and into the safety of the horizon. He jumped in surprise and desperately snapped at their little cotton tails, only to fail at catching them. [i]Fool!! Get it together![/i] When his jaws snatched nothing but air, he returned his attention to the burrows, furrowing his eyebrows in concentration as the scrambling and thumping of rabbit feet echoed in his perked ears.

He moved to the side once more, so not to frighten off the new incoming group. The ones who had fled him had been youngsters with little meat on their bones- they were better off without those miserable scraps anyways. Remus had to keep his eyes on the prize: big, fat, juicy adult rabbits. Surely, there was another litter in there, one larger and more suitable for Lumen's hungry warriors.

He was successful as a fairly large rabbit darted out, lunging forward and snatching it by the neck before shaking it furiously. With that one dead and taken care of, he tossed it aside to continue harvesting from the burrow. Moments later, there was a second, and he succeeded this time as well.

[b]"Yeah..."[/b] She agreed with her fellow outsider halfheartedly, wincing as she recalled the companionship she had so many moons ago. The life of a lone wolf was treacherous and also full of adventure, but it felt awful walking the unbeaten path solo. [i]No. You don't need him.[/i] Sitka stubbornly forced the thought out of her mind, trying to regain her optimism. [b]"So, what about you? Plan on sticking around much longer with these packs having moved in?"[/b]

With a soft smile on his features, he nodded at Eerin and Scorch as they bid him farewell on his short adventure. He prepared to march himself out of camp in the rain until Luka called to him, and the alpha abruptly paused to turn and face the eager warrior. He wouldn't mind going solo on this one, despite his typical social attitude towards his pack. It would be nice to clear his head and get his thoughts in order.

However, Ace did say [i]patrol[/i], and it was safer to go along with company. He was Noctis' alpha, yes, but he also acknowledged that he was young and inexperienced. All the other alphas were likely to be older and quite a bit more respected by their packmates. Not to mention, who was to say that the warriors of the other packs might not even take him seriously as alpha? He could be making it up to all of them, for all they knew. [b]"I guess I wouldn't mind company."[/b] The alpha decided at last with the addition of another small smile.

A loose grin crossed Luka's face and his tongue lolled, shaking out his coat once more.

"Great! I've been dying to explore more of this territory," he said excitedly, following his alpha quickly out of the camp.

The silver he-wolf sniffed the air deeply, the smells of the wild hitting his nose. The smell of wolves permeated the air, pack scents mingling and laying heavy through the new lands, their prescence definitely not going unnoticed. Luka glanced at Ace curiously, studying the young alpha for a moment.

"I am curious, Ace. What drew you to settle in this area of our new neighborhood?" He mused, pausing to sniff a nearby bush absently before returning his attention to his packmate.

"Ah- You see." Kiran stumbles over his words for a moment, pausing as if to contemplate what it was he was trying to say. "I was patrolling and it seems I got a little off course." He finally fumbles out. He dips his head sheepishly, his tail thumping lightly against the ground in embarrassment as he studies the higher-ranking male's expressions. "I was just on my way back to camp- but it seems I've gotten a bit turned around.."

His voice trails off as they're approached by two more wolves, their scents and appearances rather familiar to Kiran. His ears perk up excitedly, his rescuers! The tawny wolf scoots away from Pa'ar's demanding aura ever so slightly before darting towards Iniovij and Bellarose. "It seems so!" He greets the pair with a laugh, his tail wagging furiously behind him causing quite the breeze. "It seems I was just going though so-" He slips past them and takes a few hastened steps away, rather proud of himself for giving ol' Pa'ar the slip.
