We are aware of some issues that the community has been voicing with the raffle lioness system, with some complaints including it being difficult to pass on raffle-exclusive traits, raffle lionesses going to inactive accounts, and so on. We have had our own discussion among the developers and would now like to present a discussion where the community can provide feedback on the ideas we have outlined below regarding how the system can be modified, and possibly even give their own ideas if they aren't already covered. We will be closely monitoring this topic to record feedback, which we will then use for an upcoming site poll.

I think raffle studs are a good idea, at a limited amount similar to rls, like 5-20 personally, I would only support rls being found in explore like chaseds for extinct RLs in banned/shut down accounts where the original no longer exists- RLs are meant to be special and rare, and I think this is a good way to bring back dead lines 3 players like this post! I personally really like the way #6 works. As much as I would love #1, simply so I could finally get my hands on a raffle lioness lol, it would definitely lead to waaaayyy too many copies available and would lose any sorta special feeling ya get from earning a RL. #6 would mean that the player that wins more than likely plays semi regularly and would mean that the lioness is far more available for the player base. 3 players like this post! Personally, as someone who has dumped hundreds of GB into trying to create RLCs of my favorite Raffle Lionesses, the idea of having multiple officially released clones of each RL is a little disheartening. I do appreciate trying to find a way to ensure that the RL goes to active players. I think that being able to impress the RL daily is a good way to help make sure that the winner is an active player. My two cents is to release Near Raffle Lioness Clones, that have the new markings/traits, but are missing some of the other markings or traits so they are not an exact clone, through the Chased system like one of the suggestions. I feel like this will keep the value of the Raffle Lioness higher but still allow other players to gain access to the new traits without having an exact Raffle Lioness. I also really enjoy the concept of Raffle Studs. I think that would be a fun new aspect and give us player more things to try and aim for, especially if they are different from the Raffle Lioness. They could even been the same as the Raffle Lioness, but with their markings all in different slots for more variety. I find the idea of re-releasing Raffle Lionesses on Banned and Closed accounts interesting. I would be curious to know how many RLs are currently on such accounts. I think this would be beneficial for the overall community to ensure that these RLs are available to breed and spread their unique traits Having a Second RL with even more unique markings only available for players who have been active for at least 365 days I think is also a good idea. This would be a great reward for the long term players and give more interesting lionesses to the pool. Thank you for opening this discussion and listening to the community feedback. I'm looking forward to seeing what the final decisions are! 8 players like this post! Like? |

There absolutely needs to be an activity lock for raffle lionesses to at least curb the issue, though the idea presented have problems and could very well lock active players out. Perhaps a set amount of rollovers per week, for a set amount of weeks consistently would be better? I do like the idea of a large amount of rollovers being needed for a very special lioness - maybe those could be monthly or bi-monthly for veterans, instead of weekly? For those that aren't active, setting studs would be something nice - I think they should be on the lower amount though, and without the ability to use items like the drought studs. Love the idea of impressing every day for higher odds. I worry that RLC releases in explore right after the raffle is held would potentially kill value. However, if this was done for older RLs, instead of multiple raffles, it would allow for fresh G1s to be had - which could be especially valuable. I think it would only work in much smaller quantities. 2 players like this post! Like? Edited on 05/08/24 @ 11:02:22 by Adi [12 BO scoundrel] (#6104) |

I like the idea for the stud one. But I would want to be able to use breeding items like buffys and opal saltlicks and gnawrocks. Since using crunchies on males are out of the question. It would make it a bit more fair. Unlike how the august studs currently work. Where you cant bypass the buffies unless its a du And I like the bringing back lions on banned and severely inactive accounts. I dont like the thought of releasing explore catches. People are right its too many duplicates and devalues peoples lions. I do however think that needing to be active is a definite requirement. But Could you maybe drop the reward for activity to 200 days or more though? I feel like it might be impossible to do the whole year. People cant log in if there are certain weather conditions and thats not something a player can control. Rain/natural disasters can prevent people from logging in. I feel like pushing the whole year might kinda have people in storm shelters looking for phone access instead of trying to spend crucial time with their families? If you get that at all. I know that while the game is based in england and there are virtually no natural disasters there, the rest of the world gets impacted pretty regularly by hurricanes and tornadoes/dust devils. (Which by the way I would eventually love to see an event for) Even just really bad rain or wind can cause electricity and cell service to go out in the states. And Im from texas. In the winter our power grid fails if it snows. People lose power for weeks. Or the governor arranges controlled rolling blackouts to save electricity. Edit: Maybe you could have it set up to where that very special lion rolls for new years day. And only people who have rolled 250 times or more that year - not consecutively - just within the year gets automatically entered into the new year raffle. 0 players like this post! Like? Studd males with the new traits?! 100% great idea. Brining back raffle lions from banned/lost accounts 100% great idea. Raffle girls being found in explore? I'm 50/50 if that would be good or would end up devaluing the raffle girls too much. Being able to get more tickets, bad idea, everyone should have an equal chance. Gate-keeping behind a year's worth of rollover? Very bad idea, punishes newer players, and people who need to take a break from the game or only play very casually. 4 players like this post! Like? |

Hard stop on the first option. Releasing raffle lionesses into Explore would completely ruin the exclusivity and luck that is raffle lionesses. It would tank the rarity and value of them. Eventually, raffle lionesses would lose their entire appeal to the community. They would saturate so quickly. They would no longer be special and exclusive to the person who actually got lucky and won it. I fully support the exclusivity of raffle lionesses. But I do believe that the brand new traits released on said raffle lioness should be shared with the community. I do think a single stud would be a good option to populate the new characteristics into the community. This of course should be limited to a certain amount of players and they can only breed to him once per account. I’m playing with the idea in my head on whether there should be a pass rate or if it should pretty much be guaranteed you get the new content on your Cub(s). Raffle lioness clones should remain rare if the player that won her wants it to be that way. Clones should be entirely up to their discretion, but not the new traits. If they never want her clones to be available to the community, that is their right. But a matching stud would ensure that the new content the Lioden team has created will be available for the community to enjoy and will be distributed. #4 is a great option. I’m all for more beautiful designs to possibly win. That’s exciting and good for the community, I feel. As a veteran player, I’m partial to option 7. Editing to add: I do see how this could be very unfair though. New players who are very consistent in playing the game would practically be getting punished just because they’re new. Even though they plan to play for the foreseeable future. Yes yes yes. Fully agree to re-release RL’s that have gone extinct on dead accounts. 10 players like this post! Like? I absolutely love ideas #3, #4, and #5. I think #6 and #7 are amazing ideas and would further boost site activity as it sets a play time goal and initiative to roll over daily for players. (I want raffle studs so much 🫶) I’m not such a huge fan of #1 as I agree that it devalues the rlc economy. I’m also not fond of #2 as I believe each raffle lion/stud should be unique Furthermore, I do not believe that #5 should be a feature without coexisting with #4 because if you are releasing old RLCs you should have a new one released along side it If I were to order the possible changes to the RL process in order of most preferred implementations it would be this Most to least preferable: #5 - ensure that rls aren’t gone forever on inactive and banned accounts #4 - introduce multiple rl lioness a week to increase the pool of winners #7 - 365 RO Exclusive lioness area which rewards long time players! #3 - raffle studs with limited slots #6 - daily roll over incentive for rl impression sessions #2 - identical raffle stud #1- RLs in explore 1 player likes this post! As a newer but very consistent user, I don't like the idea of the weekly raffle being locked to those with at least 365 rollovers (as stated in #2). I'm not really a fan of the thought that somebody who hasn't logged on in a very long time can stroll back in and get a RL, but somebody like me who plays every day needs to wait another 10+ months (assuming DAILY playing) to even qualify to participate. However, I do support the idea of a separate raffle exclusive to those with 365+ rollovers. Y'all deserve something special for being long time players! Personally, I think a fair compromise would be: less stud raffle winners (maybe 10-15), and maybe 10-ish non-exact RL "clones" rolled out (to prevent traits from going extinct), but no restrictions on who can participate in the raffle besides the usual Dreamboat requirement. As another commenter suggested, a raffle winner should need to confirm somehow in order to get the RL, as opposed to it just being dropped into somebody's account. That would ensure that roughly 21 users get the chance to possess those unique traits, but there aren't guarantees and the winner of the RL still gets a completely unique gal! Editing to add: I also like the idea of RLs being re-released from banned/locked accounts. I think that's a great way to get the gals back into the community without "cheapening" the value of the RLs that are in active accounts 1 player likes this post! Like? I personally like the stud male ideas in general. The idea of multiple rlcs or chased one seems kinda meh to me, taking out the fun of actually one rlc 0 players like this post! Like? |

1. No they should be unique and not copied, crunchies work for that reason. 2. I do not like the thought of a copy. Even if its a stud version. 3. No keep the raffle lioness's as lioness's only. 4. I like the thought of releasing TWO (2) NON Identical Raffle lioness's. 3 sounds like to much. I like this idea but I still do not know how the markings would be distributed. Will one have more rare slots and the other reused/semi new? Hmm more to think on this one ! 5. Love it, Their are beautiful girls who are trapped on accounts that are banned/closed. Yet this still leaves the question, yea we are re-releasing girls but does this change the R,L system or improve it? Not that much. 6. Love love love this. Gives incentive to login. I do not think this will force or stress those who have lives outside the game. Logging in daily to impress the lioness and logging out on mobile takes 2mins of your time. And hey even if you do not impress her some day/miss some. You still can win her?? You can be the lucky fellow who only impressed her 3/7 days of the week and she still chose you !! I do not see this as a lose lose. Those who gain a smaller chance at winning still can lose regardless. I guess the % of chance has to be discussed. 7. I like and feel conflicted. This one requires hella loyalty to logging in. I def have missed a day when life just happens. And its okay to put the game down sometimes. This one im not a huge fan. I get the concept though. Also, thank you for this discussion thread. My 10 year anniversary was in July. I have never won an R.L/ Happy this is being put to light ! 3 players like this post! Like? I'm a big fan of option 4. Raffle studs feel like overall the most exciting idea and the one that would impact the overall opinion on raffle lionesses across the site the least. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Something else you could do is have a different Tier of Raffle Lioness. Raffle Lionesses who are largely tier 2 marked with BO traits, but have generally traits that are pretty present in the community. And Premier Raffle Lionesses that have several new traits, such as eyes or marks. Instead of having a stud, you could have a week where unique NCLs with those Breed Only traits will spawn after she is drawn. Maybe they have the eyes, but not the marks or vice versa, or both. And, these Premier NCLs would only be accessible to dreamboat players. This would keep the RL unique, incentivize activity, prevent hoarding of new traits, be fair to new and old players, and probably not be hard to code since they'd essentially be event lions but for a week or maybe only a day (the same Friday the RLC is drawn). 2 players like this post!
