(Sorry again! School. But hey, it's almost over. And it's friday. It's friday, friday, gotta get down on friday. >:D And I know, I probably eat more dough than actual cookies. I love cookie dough. ) Sundari Sundari left the room as Sitara gave a nod of approval. She had expected her to say more, but the elf walked briskly down the hall without a word. Sundari watched her walk down the icy hallway, and then shook her head. She didn't want to think badly of Sitata, as she elf had given her clothes and shown her around, but she couldn't help but get a bad feeling from her. As if she couldn't be trusted fully. However, neither of them knew the other very well, and perhaps that was it. She had lost a lot of potential friends that way. Jumping to conclusions, always judging a person before she actually knew them. Ulalie had told her over and over that she did that too much. It was true, she didn't really have any true friends. Aside from the dragon and her brothers, who were far, far south, all of her friends weren't really 'friends'. Not bothering to follow Sitara, as she was too far down the hall by now to be seen, Sundari walked at a slow pace through the icy hallway, peering into each of the rooms. Most of them were occupied, she assumed. They didn't have much in them, but from the scattered clothes, makeshift beds, and some that even contained furniture like Sitara's, she assumed that they were. They didn't come with anything in them, Sitara had told her. If she wanted a room, she would have to find one that was completely empty and hope that it wasn't occupied by another. Making her way down the hall, she finally found one that didn't contain scattered weapons or clothes. As she walked in, she saw that the ice arched upwards, creating a large, spacious ceiling. It was a bit too small of a room for Ulalie to stretch her wings completely out, having large, wyvern wings, but it would be good enough for her to have some space. It wasn't as large as Sitata's had been, but the spacious ceiling accommodated for that. It made it look larger. The floor was a bit uneven, being a glacier, but she could always have Ulalie melt the ice a bit until it felt about even. A makeshift bed of feathers and furs could fit around the corner to the left of the room's opening, where it couldn't be seen just from outside, allowing some privacy. Ulalie could sleep in the remaining space, and a dresser wouldn't be needed. A small table could fit near where the 'bed' would go, but she wasn't sure how to make one. Maybe she could buy it off of one of the other members. Overall, it was a fixer-upper, but it would work. Sundari gave a slight smile and set her extra clothes down, and then wished she had taken off Ulalie's saddle and saddle bags. The dragon hated wearing them, but hadn't complained because they were in front of new people, she assumed. They didn't carry much; just a sword, some extra clothes -- although not nearly as warm as Sitata's -- and some food for the journey. She'd get them when the dragon returned, and sat down against the icy wall. Her stomach growled at the thought of the food she had brought, and she gave a sigh, tasting her father's fish stew he would make from the fish caught that day. Ulalie "They were," She gave a light chuckle, trying to think of how to describe the forests to one who'd never seen them. "They were literally a labyrinth... Legend says that if one wandered off the path, they would be lost for eternity," She could tell that Borealis had never been to a place of warm weather in his lifetime, and gave another chuckle. It was clear, with his stark-white scales and icy look. He was born of the cold. Whereas, looking at her, one could tell she did not belong here. Her smooth, small scales of a warm, ruddy hue, and her thin frame, not able to hold in much body warmth, but rather made to expel it on scorching days. "Sundari and I explored them a few times. Although, we made sure to stick close to the road running through them. We do not know how long we would have been lost if we wandered from them," Ulalie said, turning her eyes from the vast glacial cave to Borealis. Thelduin Everyone was laughing and having a great time, watching the hippogriff as it struggled to get its footing. It had stopped eating, and for a second Thelduin was sure it would hack up what it had been fed. However, hippogriffs couldn't throw up, he knew that. Which was why he had to make sure no one fed it anything that could poison it. It was all fun and games until one of the drunken patrons fell back, drunk and cold as rock. The others gave a loud laugh, and fell on the floor again, talking jibberish no one understood. The hippogriff has stopped eating, and so the crowd had begun to disperse. Thelduin gave a huff of amusement, and walked over to the beast, stepping over the fallen patrons. One of them had grabbed his foot and muttered something about marrying the hippogriff, whom he called Clara, but soon fell back. "You're going to have a hell of a hangover tomorrow, especially if you think you're married to a hippogriff called Clara," Thelduin raised his eyebrows, and grabbed the hippogriff around the neck. It wasn't a tall animal like most of it kind, but actually rather short, as if it had been bred using horse blood rather than draft horse. He could easily reach an arm over its shoulders and then back around to meet his other arm, making it easier to lead it. But, then again, he was a High Elf, and they did tend to be taller than most elves and humans alike. He wasn't sure if the hippogriff was average size for its species or short, as he hadn't spent much time around them. He tried to help the animal along, but it still shuffled its clawed feet along the wooden floor. He gave a sigh, and murmured, "You'll have a hell of a hangover tomorrow as well. Let's just hope that one doesn't still think you're his wife," He cast a look at the drunk, now sleeping loudly on the floor. With the hippogriff this drunk, it wouldn't be able to carry him tomorrow. Giving a sigh, he patted the beast on the shoulder. "We may have to wait another day before returning to the cave," 0 players like this post! Like? |

(sorry guys my laptop actually cracked and i had to wait to get a new one. I got on with my phone but i couldn't type haha.) The snow actually started to die down as Rowen placed a cold leather foot into the iron stirrup and hauled himself slowly up into the saddle before adjusting himself to fit in the middle. Grabbing the metal chain linked rains in his gloved hands he leaned a little forwards and Ceadon instantly started to lumber forwards on the cold hard ice flooring, his talons clanking against it making a loud noise. "Lets go Ceadon" Rowen whispered as his dragon nodded and opened his leathery wings to full height, the wind that blew into the cave made the ends flap slightly in the wind before letting his weight shift and gradually begin to fall towards the snow covered ground. His powerful wings pulled close to his scaled body as they gained momentum, the wind blowing in Rowen's face just as Ceadon opened his powerful wings and swoop upwards and into the snowy distance. 0 players like this post! ~ Sitara ~ Sitara rummaged through some open food stores, emerging triumphantly with a leathery apple, some dried meat, and grainy bread. She settled down by a cold fire pit, eating hastily. That was another thing about Sitara. She rarely ate with at a gradual and savory pace, she ate quickly, whether she was enjoying the food immensely, or not at all. When she had finished, Sitara left the kitchen and went to find Boreas. She hoped he had gotten some information out of Ulalie. ~ Borealis ~ Boreas looked over Ulalie's form, and predicted she would began to have trouble keeping warm in the frigid temperatures outside of the glacier. She was very lanky, being a wyvern. Boreas puzzled over a couple of questions he had, then asked, "Were your lives very luxurious in the south? I know there are always hoards of merchants on the coasts..." He looked into the dragoness' eyes, genuinely curious about her past with Sundari. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(I hope you don't mind, I'm going to skip Sundari because I have to go really soon and want to at least respond to Borealis real quick. :3 I'll post something for her soon!) Ulalie "More luxurious than some, less luxurious than others," She gave a shake of her head, picturing their house in the town beside the ocean. It wasn't necessarily a large or small house -- just a house. Not as fancy as the rich and not as scrawny as the poor. She hadn't thought of it as anything but a house before. It had been a lot warmer there, however. A hell of a lot warmer. She saw Borealis look her over, and she could probably guess he was laughing at her future attempts to stay warm. She would probably laugh too, if she were in his position. A wyvern from the south, flying all the way up here to join the Riders? It was a humorous situation, if one who'd lived here their entire life thought of it. "The coasts were full of merchants, merchant ships, merchant wagons, and merchant thieves, who scammed you. About the entirety of them there were thieves, however you occasionally came across an honorable one. However, I did have to scare one into giving Sundari the full amount's worth of jewelry one time. All who had seen gave her what she paid for after then, and some poor hatchling even gave her more," She chuckled. "I still expect to see them flocking along the beaches, setting up their bazaars and shops on the white sand." Turning to look at Borealis, she thought out loud, "What is the coast like here? Icy, I presume, but does it have that same ocean-spray, that same salty water, the clouds of fish that break apart when you dive in to try and catch one? Those fish were always the funniest, and I never understood how Sundari's father and brothers could catch the damned things!" "Forgive me," She said with a sudden pause. "I was rambling," 0 players like this post! Like? |

((Of course! No pressure :3)) ~ Borealis ~ Boreas looked at Ulalie curiously as she pondered the northern sea. Her description of the merchants intrigued him more, and a strange longing came over him to see these colourful bazaars and shops the she-dragon spoke of. As for white beaches... Boreas had never seen anything of the like. "The beaches here... they consist of nothing more than jagged rocks, heavy gravel and sharp pebbles. The only fish I've ever tasted are those caught in fresh waters close to the home of Sitara. They were light and flaky, and a dragon would have to eat a whole day's catch if he wanted to feel full! I have knowledge of hefty, carnivorous fish living in the cold northern waters, but I have yet to taste them for myself..." Boreas paused to consider what else to say about his northern home. He had long since lost interest in interrogating Ulalie, and only wanted some friendly conversation, which he didn't often get out of the other dragons. "The sea spray is salty and frigid, yes, and I would never attempt to dive in after any fish. The water is to violent. Even a dragon would have a hard time keeping his head above the water. But inland... The forests are sparse with little undergrowth, thanks to all the conifers. But I've learned how to track the small herds of deer. They're easy pickings for one who needs only to swoop down and deliver a fatal blow. And then there's the reindeer. They have massive herds, ranging in the thousands. But they always migrate in the winter, so you won't find too many right now..." Boreas felt proud as he described his harsh homeland. It may not be as rich or luxurious as the sunshine coasts of the south, but it was his home, and where he belonged. ~ Sitara ~ As the forest elf approached the great cavern that was meant to host the dragons, she heard a familiar, yet friendly growl. IT must be Boreas speaking with Ulalie. She decided to wait nearby, allowing him time to get to know the new dragon. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(whew, finally posting! I can't wait for Mika and Zy to meet Thelduin and the others :> this post is so long.) A blast of cold wind greeted Mika as he pulled open the inn's heavy door. He'd have to be careful on the stone path again, as it was probably more icy than before. His boots did have pretty good traction, but he'd like to at least get some thicker clothes before sliding around on the frozen ground. From the times he'd been to the town before, he knew there was a little group of shops about a quarter mile from the inn. It wasn't far at all, and if he squinted and bobbed his head around he could see some of the shops between the trees. It would have taken less time to go straight through the woods, but there was snow on the ground and Mika didn't fancy getting wet feet once it melted on his boots. He started off on the path, bringing his scarf up to keep his nose from drying out. That happened sometimes in the cold, and it made him feel like sneezing all the time. He hated it. Once the shops were very close, the wood elf went over his mental list: Furs, oilskin boots, wool shirts and socks, maybe a couple hoods to keep his head warm.....even though he looked ridiculous in a hood. It made his hair stand on end. He stood still for a moment, biting at his lip while he debated on getting a head covering. Practicality, superficiality, warmth, looks, decisions, decisions. He supposed he'd get one, just in case a blizzard came by. Just as the notion of blizzards crossed his mind, the wind picked up and blew sharp pieces of snow across his already blushed cheeks. He hurried to a shop that he knew had clothing. Once in, Mika shook the snow out of his dark hair and walked lithely to the counter. "Good day," he said with a smirk at the young girl behind it who was working on sewing what looked like a cloak. She smiled over her shoulder and quickly put down her work, turning to give her full attention to the man in front of her. "Good day to you," she said shyly. "May I help you find something?" Mika leaned against the counter with one elbow, hand under his jaw. "Yes, as a matter of fact. I'm in need of certain...materials," he murmured as his gaze shifted downward. Not bad... he thought, and nice teeth. The girl blushed deeply and glanced away, grinning. "Hilda, is that a customer?" a resounding male voice called from upstairs. Footsteps soon follwed, and Mika straightened up. Hilda backed away from the counter, averting her gaze from the much older man's. "Yes, Papa. He needs materials." She resumed her sewing, but not without stealing a look at Mika once more. "Materials, eh?" the man murmured. "What kind?" Mika rattled off his list. He assumed they'd have just about everything he'd need. From what he'd seen hanging from racks coming in, there was a decent selection. These people must have a lot of spare time on their hands. When Mika had completed his desired inventory, the man nodded and walked over to one of the shelves on the wall. "These here are the best boots in town. You could go to Jaina's, and it's true they cost less there, but they won't hold up near as good as these. I got quality." He held them up proudly. "Made 'em myself. Couple'a different sizes, you can try 'em on." They did look like good quality footwear, Mika would admit that much. He nodded once and took the boots from the man, toeing off his current ones in the process. He slipped his foot in the first boot...and it slipped right out again. The man guffawed and handed the elf another pair that looked smaller. Pulling them on, Mika was pleased at how comfortable they were. There was a little extra room in the heel, but with thick wool socks it wouldn't be much of an issue. "These are perfect. I'll take them." He spent the next thirty minutes gathering items and listening to the man--Gregor was his name--brag about his stuff being better than Jaina's. When at last his total was racked up, he slid out the coins from his purse and handed them to Gregor. "I appreciate your help, sir," Mika said with a small bow, "and milady." He winked at the girl quickly, which her father didn't seem to see, and peered around the pile of things in his arms to see where the door was so he could push it open with his foot. Zyla, he called with his mind, finding the link between himself and his dragon. Come help me carry this stuff. It's heavy. Stop your whining, the white lindworm answered sarcastically. Meet me where you left me. Mika sighed--he'd have to walk all the way back to the edge of the woods before the inn. Ugh. He felt Zyla mentally laughing...cruel creature. 0 players like this post! (I can't wait for everyone to be brought together either! (:<) Ulalie The purple dragon listened closely as Borealis described his homeland -- a harsh land which she had entered. When she had first thought of the north, she pictured it as a vast, white wonderland with snow flurries day and night. Never windy, with lakes of solid ice where you could skate on with your claws. The land Borealis described sounded nothing like what she had imagined -- and she had only seen a small part of it on their flight here. "It sounds like an icy hell," She thought out loud, comparing the Borealis' frozen home to her semi-tropical one. After a moment, Ulalie looked up quickly, realizing what she had said. "I shouldn't have said that," She murmured, shaking her scaly head. "I apologize for that. It's just not that I expected the north to be like at all. If I had known it would be this... harsh," She said after a moment, pausing to find the correct word. However, she let her thought trail off, not wanting to offend Borealis' homeland even more. "I'm sorry," She said, "I am just feeling homesick. Your frozen land does seem quite lovely. I am just not used to it. But this view. This view, I could get used to," She gave a light chuckle, looking over the vast cavern in the glacier where the dragons' quarters resided. Sundari She woke with a loud yawn, and lifted her head from the thin blanket on the floor. It was icy and her cheek stung when she moved, but the pain only lasted a moment. After wiping the sleep from her eyes, Sundari looked around. "I didn't even know I had fallen asleep," She murmured, wondering what time it was. Ulalie hadn't found her, so it obviously hadn't been for very long. It had most likely been just a small power-nap -- twenty minutes or so. She could never nap for long. After standing and stretching, Sundari peered her head down the hall. She didn't see anyone else, and gave a sigh of relief. How embarrassing that would have been, for someone to walk in on their new colleague sleeping, and drooling no doubt. She gave a wince of embarrassment, and wiped her mouth. Ulalie was probably still with Borealis, she assumed. After rolling the sleeves back up of Sitara's shirt, and pulling the furred cloak tighter around her -- she had shivers from the cold even in the 'warmer' air of the glacier -- she made her way down the hall to try and find the dragon. Thelduin After taking the drunken hippogrif -- now passed out on the cold wooden floor of Thelduin's room -- he headed back to the loft of the inn. Most of the drunken patrons were gone, as night was settling. Not even the natives of the town wanted to be out at night in this cold -- one would never find their way back if a blizzard were to happen by. Now that it was nice and quiet, one could just sit back, and listen to the mediocre-ly played songs on a flute of the inn keeper's son to entertain those still there. 0 players like this post! ((So sorry for the late post! I've had very little Internet time lately, but I'm more or less back to being active now!)) ~Borealis~ Boreas shook his head, then chuckled slightly. "No, it's quite all right. Everyone has their own opinion... Though to be sure, this place is not exactly what you would call a 'paradise'." Just then, he heard Sitara speaking to him through their mental connection. Hey, are you done yet? It's cold and I want to get some exercise... "Ah, it seems my partner is getting anxious. I'm afraid I will have to end our conversation, but I hope to speak with you again, Ulalie," Boreas said, polite as always. With that, he swooped off in Sitara's direction, having received an image of where she was. ~Sitara~ The she-elf lifted her hand to give Boreas a scratch on the cheek, then climbed on his back so he could take them to her chambers to get his good saddle. They had planned to practice some aerial tricks today. Sitara would cast a spell to keep herself from getting wet, which shouldn't take too much effort. 0 players like this post! Like? |

{filler post, a little backstory ;D i swear Mika and Zyla adhere to what i said their personalities were! they're just different with each other.} You know, Mikaviel thought to his dragon after several minutes of walking, you pretty much blend in with the snow and it's almost dark. Nobody would see you if you helped me carry this stuff… He grunted, shifting the pile of items a bit so he could at least see over the top of them instead of having to strain his neck around the sides. Zyla's consciousness radiated impishness. I don't want to risk it…you remember what happened last time. Besides, you're funny looking. She shared with him an image of himself waddling through the snow, half of his body obscured by his purchases. The fact that she could see him meant he was close, at least. In fact, he could just make out a glimmering, pale form just behind the tree line. It wasn't that far away after all. In trudging through the snow a bit more quickly, Mika was able to reach his dragon within a few minutes. “Finally,” he breathed aloud, dumping the cloak, boots, shirts, pants and other various items on the icy ground. The snow wasn’t as thick as it had been on the more open ground. “I should have stayed on the path. That snow is very trying.” The dragon’s large head nudged Mika’s arm. “I would have helped you in other circumstances. I just didn’t want to be seen,” she murmured, also with her throat voice. Mika understood her trepidation of coming into the open, despite her trying to cover it with playful desertion. Last time she had been discovered, in another town southwest of the one they were in, men had tied her down and nearly killed her. Mika still remembered her terrified, angry screams radiating through the link; he’d run to her as fast as he could and managed to beat enough of the men off for the others to become afraid and run away. She was still young then, smaller than a horse, and knew little about the ways of men. It had been Mika’s fault; he should have hidden her better. Feeling a pang of guilt at her words, which showed a part of the dragon’s psyche rarely seen even by Mika, the elf rubbed her jaw and nodded. I know. It’s fine, I’m here now. Let’s get these loaded up, hm? Zyla snorted in concurrence, moving the cephalic region of her snake-like body so that her Rider could access the saddle bags. Excluding a warm shirt, the boots, and the cloak, he began shoving in the items with no heed to organization. He’d change into the left out items in the morning when they began their trek, but for now it was time to make camp. It would be dark soon, and Mika didn't want to be caught in the cold without a fire to keep him warm and ward off predators...even if he did have a ferocious dragon next to him. 0 players like this post! (School's out! I'm so sorry again for my absence this week and last week. :3) Ulalie "No, it is your home. I apologize for offending it," She shook her head, picturing the desolate, icy land outside of the cavern. While it seemed like a cold hell to her, Borealis grew up here. It was his home, just as the white beaches and endless forests were hers. As he continued speaking, she thought of her own Rider. Sundari hadn't tried to contact her, so Ulalie assumed she was doing all right. It wouldn't be too hard to find her hopefully, however she had no clue how large this cavern was. If the section of the dragons' living quarters was this large -- and it was only a part of the glacier --, who knew how large the rest of it was. "Thank you for the tour, Borealis. I shall see you again," She said, watching as he flew off. Thelduin He woke with a start. Something loud and metal clanged from the other side of the inn. The flute-player was gone, and he was the only one in the living room of the inn. He leaned forward on the chair, setting his head in his hands. The clanging sounded again, but this time shouting followed it. "You knocked the damned thing over again!" "No I didn't, you did, you ass!" "Just shut up mate, let's just," The voices faded, and Thelduin was unable to make out what was being said after that, even with Elvish hearing. He gave a frown, and stood up. His body ached from falling asleep in the uncomfortable wooden chair, however he probably wouldn't feel better even if he had fallen asleep in his bed. As he stood, the shriek of the hippogriff echoed in the distance. More shouting and clanging of metal followed, with the hippogriff's frantic cries in the background. Glass broke, and soon the cries of the hippigriff were muffled. "Shit," Thelduin muttered, and made his way to the direction of the noises. The door had been locked, but not sealed with magic. It took a couple of tries, but he soon broke the wooden frame of the door. When he entered, the room was empty, and the window was broken. His stuff had been scavenged through, but nothing of importance was gone. He had made sure there'd be no way of anyone aside from himself seeing it, and gladly, the magic had worked. However, his hippogriff was gone. He collected his stuff and walked out of the inn. A storm of snow greeted him, tossing him from this way and that. At least he knew one thing -- the hippogriff wouldn't fly. Whoever had stolen it would be on foot. Thelduin cast a ball of light in his hand to see with, because a torch would be blown out in a minute. The thieves wouldn't flee to the town, he knew that. The only other option was the forest. He made his way in its direction, however slowly. The snowy wind was nearly impossible to walk through, and if that wasn't enough, it kept tossing him on his bad leg. After cursing a few times under his breath, he managed to grab onto a tree's trunk. The hippogriff's cries were tossed from this way and that, and he had no clue which direction was their source. Giving an other murmur of a curse, he proceeded to attempt to walk through the forest. 0 players like this post! Like? |

((I totally understand. I won't be able to post as much either, since I've got government exams AND finals coming up :P )) ~Sitara~ Sitara dug around in her chest, finding stray bits of the saddle that had become dislocated the last time she'd dumped the thing in it. She finally re-surfaced, and got to work, removing Boreas' crummy saddle, and fastening his good one. It took some work, but she finished faster than usual. She was getting better at it. Soon it wouldn't take much effort at all. Sitara gave Boreas a pat, then led the way through the great ice cavern, running at full sprint. The grips on her boots kept her from slipping and landing on her face. The two finally reached the yawning opening in the side of the glacier. This part had been practiced between the two of them before, and Sitara loved the thrill. Boreas shot ahead of her, diving off the ledge. Sitara followed suit. However, instead of soaring up, she plummeted at a controlled fall. Only 50 meters from the ground, her trusty dragon scooped her up delicately in his claws, soared up a good 300 meters, and flung her into the air. Sitara whooped as she did an aerial flip, then landed on her but safely on Boreas' saddle. Her rump wasn't too happy about it, but Sitara was smiling like a maniac. "you know, if we ever fail at being protectors of the realm, we can always join a circus," she said, getting a hearty chuckle out of Boreas. 0 players like this post! Like? |

{ew finals...i think anyone in school feels you! and finally, my chance to pounce on Thelduin >:D } Damn, if only you were a fire-breather... Mikaviel teased as he struggled to light the tinder with his flint and steel. The winds were definitely picking up, and in combination with the snow a fire was nearly impossible to get started. Zyla assumed Queen Bitch Pose #6 and peered down at Mika through eyes full of disdain. If only you were better at sheltering your tinder... she retorted, sneering a little. It was all in good fun, of course. She didn't mind not breathing fire; it was too hot and destructive. She hadn't really discovered any elemental powers in herself yet, and figured that if they hadn't appeared by now they never would. A glowing light appeared suddenly, coming slowly closer. It bobbed and weaved between the black tree trunks, filtered by evergreen boughs and their needles. Mika, look. Zyla unfurled her body, which had been curled around Mika to shield both the fire and him from the wind. Her head lowered, she settled into a defensive stance next to her companion in readiness for whatever peril approached them. Mika turned his attention in the direction of Zyla's gaze, and saw the light as well. His hand instinctively grasped one of his swords, legs bending almost in a crouch. He could call out, or he could wait for the thing to come upon them. It could be a townsperson... he offered to Zyla. But be ready. Keeping his hand on his blade he called out towards the unsteady light, "Looking for trouble, or are you just dimwitted enough to be wandering in the forest at night in a blizzard?" 0 players like this post! (Yikes, good luck on your exams and finals, Celebi. :3 And thanks guys for forgiving me. I feel so bad, I didn't even think about lioden.) Ulalie It didn't take her long at all to find Sundari. She had been in the main hall where the entrance to the glacier was, watching those other Riders in training, or just sitting around and talking. Her Rider told her that she had met some people, and found an unoccupied room for them to stay in. Good, Ulalie dipped her head in greeting as Sundari introduced her to a few other Rider and dragons. I need a good, warm place to lie down and sleep. The cold is making my muscles ache. A familiar scent sped by, and she soon turned her head to see the icy figure of Borealis run by, amazingly not slipping on the ice. She had to fly most of the places to avoid from slipping, even in places the Riders had laid down dirt over the pathways. She saw him soar above the glacier, and blinked in surprise as his Rider jumped over the edge. What was going on? To get a better look, she made her way -- carefully -- to the edge. Borealis dove down just as his Rider was about to hit the snow, and they flew up together. She gave a smile, impressed. Sundari would never even let her think of doing that. Sundari They can do that all they'd like. I'm not trying, She frowned, making her way over to the edge of the glacial mouth. You trust me, Sundari. I wouldn't ever let you fall, Ulalie replied, however Sundari continued frowning. She sent thoughts to Ulalie of falling, backing up her reasons as to why she would never, ever do that. Thelduin He stumbled through the forest, wishing he had brought a walking stick or a cane to help support him with. He had all his valuable supplies that the thieves hadn't stolen, however those were not one of them. He couldn't hear much over the roar of the wind, even with his Elvish hearing. However, he did hear a voice. It was mostly drowned out over the wind, but he had managed to catch most of what had been said. Thelduin looked ahead, casting the light brighter in attempt to try and see who had spoken. There were shaped illuminated in the distance, however they were too far to make out. "What I'm looking for is my hippogriff," He called back, alert and ready in case this was the thief. He had unsheathed a knife and gripped it in his right hand, while casting the light from his second. 0 players like this post! Like? |

{at least you came back on XD ugh sorry i didn't leave you much to work with, FC!} The winds were really picking up; all Mika picked up was "looking" and "hippogriff". Hippogriff? With a sudden jolt of remembrance, Mika said to Zyla verbally, "The guy at the inn!" He accompanied his vague identification with a few mental images towards the dragon, who still looked a bit confused. Well what a surprise... The elf stepped forward towards the light, hand still ready to unsheathe one of the swords in his belt and defend himself. Mikaviel, what are you doing? Don't be an idiot, he could be dangerous! Zyla's thoughts were filled with alarm and irritation at her Rider's impetuous action. She hurried to keep up, her body rubbing against tree trunks as it slithered across the snow. They were close enough now that the light reflected dimly off her scales, but the wind carried away any scent of the oncoming man. Brushing off Zyla's concern Mika thought, Zy, he might know of a cave or something--we can't stay out here. I'll freeze and you won't be able to move for days. He felt the dragon begrudgingly acquiesce. The light was getting closer, though still some distance away. 0 players like this post! Like? |
