Heather watched him as he thought, clasping her hands together again as she waited for his response. When he spoke, she pursed her lips in though, "Its about three hours from here, and we'd have to take the ferry too..."

Rhys nodded, it wasn't too bad, although he wasn't really looking forward to the ferry. He had only been one one before, that was in the underworld and it was less than pleasant. He looked at her with a spark of hope in his eyes "would you really take me there?" He asked.

She tilted her head at him while he thought, wondering what linds of things he was thinking about. She snapped to attention when he looked at her again, then smiled at his expression, nodding, "Of course I would. I have nothing better to do with my time anyway, so I may as well help you." She hopped off the counter, putting a hand on his arm lightly before she went to go get a drink of water, "But is it okay if we leave tomorrow? It's getting late, and I don't want to drive in the dark."

Rhys grinned "Thanks, " he said, before getting off his stool and standing up next to her. He looked down at her hand for a moment and then smiled up at her. He watched her as she got a drink of water, and then looked towards the couch when she talked about leaving tomorrow. "That's fine, I'm tired anyway" he admitted, before asking her if he could sleep on her couch.

Heather smiled back, and set her glass down in the sink as she looked over to him again, nodding, before nodding again, "Sure, I'll get a blanket and a pillow for you.... do you want to change, too? My brother's clothes will probably fit you."

"Thanks, and yeah some fresh clothes would be nice, hopefully, your brother won't mind." He said, cautiously taking his plate and glass and putting it next to the sink. He wandered over to the couch, sitting on the arm and looking around her living room; taking note of the details. Homes were very different here then they were back home, he liked them actually. Although come to think of it this was the only house he had been in so far.

She nodded a little, smiling again, "What he doesn't know won't hurt him." She made sure he was going to be okay before she went upstairs to get him some clothes, coming down with an armful of them, "If you want to shower now would be the time." She offered him the stack of clothes, smiling a little before turning her gaze to the side, looking out the window to avoid eye contact for the time being.

He nodded, and took the clothes "I think I will have a shower if that's okay?" He asked, tucking the clothes under one arm.

She nodded, taking a deep breath before pointing up the stairs, "Bathroom's just up there to the left. You take your shower and I can deal with making the couch hospitable... do you want anything else to eat?"

He smiled "thanks, and Nah, the cough will be fine as it is," he said, walking over to the stairs and swinging on the bannister. He shook is the head, "that's okay, I'm not very hungry, I don't need to eat much anyway" he said, before walking upstairs.

She shrugged a little bit, "I'll still get a blanket and pillow for you." She nodded at his response to her question, frowning a little when he said he didn't need to eat much, shrugging before getting the blanket and pillow like he said she would.

(Hey, I'm really really sorry that I left you hanging again, I was overseas on an exchange and was expecting there to be a lot more opportunity to come on D:)

"Thanks" he called from upstairs, stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around himself before running a hand through his hair. He looked in the mirror and properly studied his human form, to be honest, it wasn't too far from his true one. He got dressed quickly and made a rough attempt to towel dry his hair before hanging up the towel and going back downstairs.

She smiled a little to herself, fighting off a yawn as she dumped the blanket on the couch, along with the pillow. After a moment of just staring at it, trying to figure out what to do now, she shook her head slightly and spread the blanket out to make a sort of half bed thing, just to make it more comfortable than just the couch. She had sat down after that, yawning again, and before she knew it she had curled up onto her side and fell asleep, just before Rhys came back downstairs.

When Rhys came back downstairs he saw Heather curled up on one end of the couch. He couldn't help but smile, and he trod lightly so that he didn't wake her. He sat down on one side of the couch, rested his head on the pillow, and tucked his legs up to his chest. He closed his eyes, and for the first time in a little while he felt safe. He was asleep before he knew it.

Heather slept straight through the night, and didn't even wake up until almost noon. She was exhausted from yesterday, a lot more than she thought she was, so she just kind of laid there on the couch before yawning and getting up, stretching before going into the kitchen to make some breakfast. Turns out she was also really hungry from yesterday....
